Get me a straitjacket...I can't stop testing my pee because I've lost my mind.

In a nutshell;
-Been with hubby now 10years, married for 2
-Decided to start trying for a baby
-Never been on the pill, all hail the wonders of condoms
-I ovulated on the 4th June and baby danced on both 4th and 5th
-Im taking STUPID tests every single day (cheapo amazon and SD)
-all were negative but of course I'm testing TOO EARLY
-and breathe...

I need some direction ladies. Why am I feeling so intensely crazy? I can't even wait another 5 days till period is due. Okay so I feel some weird symptoms, like a period pain type of niggling pain every night, a silly tonne of flatulence and hysteria. I just can't stop testing.

I even had a very vivid and incredibly real dream this morning that 2 lines appeared. So I tested but still a BFN.

How can I stop myself from testing every day? Has anyone else been a mad woman and done this?

Feeling nauseated this evening but am now past deluding myself it is a symptom, pretty sure it is just stress.

Boobs still burning and bugger all squared on FRER today! So does our pity party have a theme or should we just come in our jammies? Chocolate, wine, gin, pizza and girlie DVDs or should we have a little cheer ourselves up girly disco?!

Work is so stressful at the moment that any bit of happiness (which your fertile window is meant to give you) has gone out the window! (Also not great when you are TTC. LOL)

A day sitting at home on the xbox sounds like bliss right now.

Hey @Pinkemi and @bouncemeup sounds like you are both roughly in the same boat as me, just into the dreaded ttw. I'm 2dpo, how about you guys?

@vicsteur81 I am actually just coming into my fertile window. Haven't had the peak fertility notification on my OPKS yet. HATE the 2ww tho!

Hi all! Been lurking around Conception a while...pretty much reading this thread since last (suspected) O. 8DPO now.

Managed to hold out testing until 6DPO. Too early I know. I was trying to regain control of the logical part of my brain and show myself I wasn't pregnant...which didn't work because as soon as I got the BFN I was expecting, I was like, "well OBVIOUSLY, it was too early!"

Told myself I'd at least wait until 9DPO to try again, but only made it to this morning. Another BFN. No more testing now unless AF is late. Honest.

As much as I want that BFP this is only my first cycle TTC, it'd be a bloody miracle if it happened first time, so I really just want to know either way and stop obsessing until next cycle. Cannot believe how fixated I've been, we're meant to be taking it 'casual'. Dread to think how I'll be further down the line!

@JemDoughnut you aren't the only one. I'm going to have to sit on my hands I think. I was the picture of virtuousness pre O, I definitely wasn't going to test early. I'll be lucky it I hold out much past dpo 6 at this rate.

Slightly concerned that I didn't get a super dark like on any of my opk's, it got darker on the day I think I ovulated, but not super dark. Time will tell. Just got to try not to wish my life away!

Af hasn't actually shown up yet. I am sure it is stress but in the spirit of this thread will be poas in the am. However as the past few weeks I have needed a nightly pee told dh and he said test during night and wake him up. Bless.

@Vicsteur81 TBH I think the only reason I made it to 6dpo was because I went away on a group trip to the country...no nipping out to Boots.

Got my fingers crossed that it's not just stress @Anban.

I keep arguing with myself for symptom spotting. "I think I'm more sensitive to smells - no you're not, this place just smells like piss..." "I feel sick - you always feel sick." "I'm really emotional lately - you once cried because you saw a puppy!"

Hey ladies! I think I need to step forward and join you guys. I ordered a pack of IC tests a while ago so they'd be ready sitting in my drawer. When I say a pack, I mean 30 and I seem to be making it my mission to work through them. Roughly 9DPO today and BFN on the test I took when I woke up this morning. I know it's early but I can't help feeling that given how sore my boobs are it would show by now if I was pg! There's only one solution: More tests

Well, got two faint positives on Clearblue non-digital two days ago and since then it's just been negative after negative- so gutted 😞 Spoke to their advice line in case it was a bad batch and she told me that I must had HCG in my urine (weird that the FRER I used in the same sample didn't pick it up though huh?) and didn't seem too bothered. Still no AF but certain it's not a goer, after two days another test would have picked it up.

Thought I'd share in case any of you girls were contemplating buying these tests, don't want anybody else to feel like this- at least I'm probably safe to have a G&T at the weekend.

Oh, and I'll have a front row seat at the pity party please!

emily I feel in the exact same boat I had another faint positive on a clear blue this morning and digital negative my back really hurts so am sure is period coming now need to go on a road trip to get another FRER but it was negative 2 days ago so pretty sure still will be (I may have cleared the local boots out of their stock) here is today's excuse the dusty toilet lid!!

Welcome new ladies by the way sorry we aren't much fun this morning! Right back to our party does tonight about 8 suit? Who is being guacamole??

Sorry love, it really really sucks doesn't it? There's definitely a line there, but it's crap to have to spend more money before you can believe it!

These are my two, I opened one up so I think that's why it flooded and went yucky yellow but the other one was done completely right and left well alone and still came out +ve 😠

That sucks, Emily. Are the more recent tests the same brand?

I think I can see the lines on both Cookie, could it be that the digital is less sensitive?

The only symptoms I can't explain away rationally are 'unusual' CM (creamy, I guess, unfamiliar to me) for a couple of days followed by the slightest amount of blood 8dpo (which pushed me over the edge and into doing another test), and a faint, dull ache in my pelvic area. If AF comes and goes and it's still there I think I'll be seeing my GP.

Af arrived this morning, after lots of poas dreams!

Guess I have no excuse to change the litter tray over the next two weeks now.

I am actually making guacamole today! My avos are finally ripe enough! I may just add some tequila to it...

Can I join in the pity party too? I have been watching this thread for a while now! I also got a faint faint line on a clear blue just before AF started. I was so sure I was preggo, every symptom under the sun including a dream of getting 3 positives!

I have POAS 23 times since my mmc 1st of May so I feel like this is the group for me!
