Get me a straitjacket...I can't stop testing my pee because I've lost my mind.

In a nutshell;
-Been with hubby now 10years, married for 2
-Decided to start trying for a baby
-Never been on the pill, all hail the wonders of condoms
-I ovulated on the 4th June and baby danced on both 4th and 5th
-Im taking STUPID tests every single day (cheapo amazon and SD)
-all were negative but of course I'm testing TOO EARLY
-and breathe...

I need some direction ladies. Why am I feeling so intensely crazy? I can't even wait another 5 days till period is due. Okay so I feel some weird symptoms, like a period pain type of niggling pain every night, a silly tonne of flatulence and hysteria. I just can't stop testing.

I even had a very vivid and incredibly real dream this morning that 2 lines appeared. So I tested but still a BFN.

How can I stop myself from testing every day? Has anyone else been a mad woman and done this?

Eheh only once, this morning (and another bfn) and I just went and got two more tests from boots. Gonna have to order on amazon from now on me thinks.

Have had many twinges and aches today. Af due in full tomorrow but I usually have a day or two or spotting. Wasn't sure if I had a slight pink tinge when wiping earlier but had nothing since. Argh.

I am now also tempted by a staff loo poas.

Not recommended Anban, got halfway down the corridor and remembered I'd left the wrapper on the side and had to sprint back like an idiot to retrieve it 😂

hahaha @Emilyvb That would have got the office gossips going though! Provide some entertainment for the day.. guessing which one of the ladies in the office is thinking that they are pregnant. :)

Honestly i think woman are terrible in offices.... we have a couple of ladies here who just talk about everyone! I try and keep my head down and stay out of it. Hate to think what they say about me behind my back.

Bit irrelevant now i think, pink tinge has turned into some brown sludge. What witht he negative test this morning I think I am out for the month.

Do any of you ladies have the same problem with ov tests?

Sorry anban I almost wish I would get my period would stop me spending a bloody fortune on tests!!

I am meant to be starting Ovulation sticks (was due to start yesterday but forgot and again this morning.) Do you think its okay to start 2 days late testing? I've never used them before so I dunno!

I don't even think I can either! No I don't think it matters you shouldn't have missed the surge unless you ovulate very early x

@Pinkemi on a hospital ward where 95% of the staff are women and trained to notice physical symptoms the risk was too high! One extra bathroom break and I'm busted!

I 'treated myself' today, not to shoes or chocolate or a new outfit... but to 2 expensive Clearblue tests, I picked up the Boots cheapies then thought no, you're worth £11.99 hahaha. Lots of cramps today so don't think I'm onto a winner 11dpo. We'll see!

Just took another test with a bfn just so I can drink some of the massive vodka bottle I just brought worry free.

With ov tests, well I have only gone through one cycle, but I took three or four until I got a positive one starting at about day five so that I didnt miss it. So I am really just as bad peeing on any sort of stick.

Also, ack gonna start weeping just typing it, DH has had a bit of an emotional breakdown tonight. He has bipolar and even though he is on meds they don't seem to be helping much and I have told him no baby until he is stable. sigh.

Preaching to th choir here but cor It's hard work this TTC. Been trying for over a year now. I'm 31 and we are trying for #1.

So far I use ovia and I've had accupuncture, and tests have shown I am ovulating. Currently waiting for partners sperm tests to come back. Horrible not knowing what is stopping things and the possibility that it might end up being unexplained also stressing me out.

Posted just now as my DP has bipolar too @anban It's so hard. We've put the baby stuff on hold a few time with the ups and downs. He's fought v hard to be stable and is doing really well now. You have to keep pushing the docs if the meds aren't working - it can be a real battle. I hope he can stabilise soon x

this is my first cycle using OPK's and got my first flashing smiley face this morning.. 2 or 3 days before my apps predicted fertile period!!

Same thing for me @Pinkemi my OPK positive this morning (yay) but all three (yes three) of my apps predicted later. So many factors to consider, apps, ewcm,temperature, opks....i can see this turning into an unhealthy obsession for me. Lol

I'm on my third day of High on clear blue OPK (fertility monitor thing). Expect to ovulate this Friday or Saturday. Getting lots of BD in but I'm already anxious about BFP / AF in two weeks!

It's my first month temping but I only started on CD7 or so. So far it's only gone down every day
