We've been going a while now so the novelty has well and truly worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

1. I've got the day off and spending it with my mum and going with her and my bro to see Aladdin tomorrow!
2. I'm seeing my friends for dinner tomorrow night, yum thai food and cocktails!
3. Sunday I've got the house to myself so I'm going to get comfy, watch films DH doesn't like and make the most of the day!

1. DH is out of his funk!!! Last night he surprised me with a two-fer 😳

1. I'm going to Nando's tonight with two of my besties from work!!! Cue gossip time!!

1. We booked Madrid for September!! If im prego by then 👏 my mum will probably lose her shit that I'll be in another country as she was very motherly with me last time, but I'm relaxed, what will be will be. I'm feeling grateful that I'm even TTC right now. ☺️

Got my first concert tomorrow evening with the local orchestra I recently joined
Managing MUCH better on clomid this month plus I've got a scan booked to check on my ovs

1 - i am feeling so much better for my meds. My resting heart rate in less than a fortnight has fallen by 10-12 beats a minute!!

2 - I have a busy weekend with a Rainbows trip and a group walk with my basset and other bassets.

3 - i had my hair cut last week and I love how its looking 😊

Loving all the positivity today. I am tentatively helpful that I might not have to work over the weekend for the first time in months which has put be in an excellent mood.

Hello all! Just a quick update from me - will try and catch up properly later!

Egg collection went well (really nothing to worry about) and am currently lazing about in bed in my very lovely hospital room 😊 They just gave me a great meal too! They got 6 eggs (dr expected 7 but one follicle was empty) which is about as much as I could hope for with my low AMH and now waiting for dr to come around to hopefully get more detail. Fingers crossed...

Big fan of general anaesthetic - best sleep I've had in ages!

Thanks kath - it has been awful!!! And yours sounds bad too?! I will not be working this weekend as going to visit the inlaws, that's my one and only bit of Friday positivity as feeling a bit worn out and demoralised otherwise. Just tired I think.

Oh Harriet, I know exactly how you feel. This week hasn't been too bad in the grand scheme of things but morale is pretty terrible in our team at the moment so work is not a fun place.

Pyjamas, glad it went well today! I don't think I realised that egg collection was done under a GA so hope the recovery from that goes well and you can relax over the weekend!

Each clinic varies kath - a lot do it under sedation, I'm so glad I had GA! Feel totally fine now, completely awake, full of beans, no bloating etc.

Consultant came in to chat to us before we left - said 6 was a good number, they looked mature but won't know for sure until they see how/if they fertilise. we will get a call before midday tomorrow. Let the waiting begin...

Oh and morale is shocking in our team as well kath - it's never been this bad and this is my 9th year!

Ditto pyjamas, we had 4 resignations today alone. I've been here 11 years and can't believe how bad it is.

Yep - I'm currently doing 3 jobs due to people leaving. Good times!

I think AF will arrive for me right on schedule tomorrow. Boobs don't hurt, spotting has increased and had cramps this morning.

flash my temp dropped massively today so think AF is due tomorrow or next day. Getting a lot of cramps but not sure if it's pre AF or post procedure.

I had a day of recovery yesterday. Watched the entire box set of riviera. Feeling better today and mentally stronger. I've come to terms with having to delay ivf and plan to start end aug/early sep all being well. Will look to book a short holiday mid aug before we start ivf. Will look into acupuncture and reflexology as well.

Glad you're feeling on top of things otters. Make sure you keep resting as much as you need.

I'm off to see Aladdin in London today, then cocktails and dinner, so plenty to keep my mind off impending AF.

Hey Jam sorry you've been upset today This is just the worst. Hope you and dh are okay.

I've been very down for days as I knew af was coming. She arrived on time this morning I am still lurking on here a bit as I care about you all so so much but if I'm honest I just don't have the energy for ttc right now and I haven't for a while. When I'm down, I shut down. I feel burnt out. That was my last cycle on meds; no idea what my cycles or lp will do now. I've paused my FF account too and probably won't be tracking.

I've been coming to terms with the fact that our only hope is private treatment and we can't start that until much later this year, and I really want to lose some weight before then too. I don't mean for this to be a woe is me post but I wanted to explain my absence. I'm sorry! I will try and pop in when I can.

Alexia it's lovely to see you but I can completely understand you needing a break. I think deep down I need one too but it's like a scab I can't keep worrying at. The more it hurts the more I go at it. If you ever want to chat about it or anything else you know where I am xx

DH goes away tonight until Wednesday so we really need to HS today. I keep bursting into tears which isn't really the sexiest of turn ons for him... I always thought TTC would involve lots of shagging. Just didn't realise it would involve quite so much crying!

Time for a cup of tea and re group.

Clinic just called (longest wait EVER) - 5 out of 6 fertilised!! We have 5 embryos!!! They'll call again on Monday with another update. Long way to go still, but OMG!

So sorry to hear about struggles alexia and jam - I wouldn't wish his bullshit on anyone 😢 Really hope you feel better soon.
