Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

We've been going a while now so the novelty has well and truly worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Key:
HS - have/had sex
GOS - good old shag
ELH - enthusiastic lavatory happenings
LSFX - legs spread, fingers crossed

Love the blanket hep!

And really hope clomid treats you better this time jam.

I'm also in awe of your GOSing flash!!

Just had my first scan and bloods post starting drugs and they told me I'm responding well (on day 6 of stimming) 😃 5 follicles of good size on the right, 4 smaller ones on left but they will grow. They told me to add the second injection (cetrotide) tonight (eep) and am back in for my next scan/bloods on Monday. I've had no real side effects so far (was worried nothing was happening!). Feeling pretty positive today 😃

Gorgeous blanket hep. The colours are so beautiful!

Pyjamas, glad all is going well so far and you're feeling positive. Hope you've got a lovely relaxing weekend planned :)

Good luck with this cycle of Clomid Jam, I hope you don't feel as shit as last time. Take care of yourself my lovely Flowers

Loved all the Friday positivity yesterday. I had a bit of a shit day at work so didn't feel able to contribute but feeling much more zen today.

And last, but certainly not least, have a wonderful wedding day sk1pper!

HepKestrel · 24/06/2017 11:59

thanks all Blush. Its now in the post. fx it gets there safe.

really hope the clomid is ok for you this time jam

cramps have arrived, so AF is on her way.

Flashinthepan · 24/06/2017 14:28

Thanks guys. That amount is definitely not normal for us but we wanted to give it a really.good shot and as I OVd on CD 10 last cycle I had no idea when to expect it.

Sorry you had a bad day kathrino but glad you're feeling a better today.

Sorry you think AF is on the way hep.

Very pleased for you pyjamas. All sounds good. Got everything crossed.

I'm still spotting, but as my temp rose again I can only assume it's definitely not progesterone related so hopefully the doctors are right when they say it won't affect my fertility.

harrietm87 · 25/06/2017 10:31

Hi everyone hope you've had good weekends so far!

hep the blanket is so beautiful! Your niece is so lucky!

pyjamas so exciting all is going well.

jam good luck with the clomid and hope it doesn't affect you so badly this time - maybe forewarned is forearmed at least.

I'm 3dpo today so too early even to symptom spot. Going to visit yet another friend's new baby today. Sigh.

HepKestrel · 25/06/2017 10:37

still no AF. bfn. fucking sick of this..... ok i'm only 2 days late, but you would think i would be better at handling this shit by now. Mood possibly helped by the fact that i am pmsy, knackered and full of hayfever.

not so zen today.

Flashinthepan · 25/06/2017 10:40

Sorry hep. It's such a bugger when your body doesn't play ball. FX for an end to the limbo soon.

Good luck with the baby visit Harriet. Plan yourself a nice cold glass of something for afterwards.

Today my boobs are slightly sore. I'm very happy that so far I've not had sore boobs.

KerryLeanne84 · 25/06/2017 10:41

Kathrino · 25/06/2017 10:47

Congratulations Kerry!! I'm so happy for you. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months. How are you feeling?

Scandalicity · 25/06/2017 10:53

Massive congratulations Kerry!! That's brilliant, and to get a positive on a digi too!! Grin

Sorry for being a bit quiet guys, anxiety creeping in for scan on Tuesday Confused

HepKestrel · 25/06/2017 10:54

congrats kerry !!!!!!!!!!!!

KerryLeanne84 · 25/06/2017 11:02

Flowers Thank you SO much ladies! This was after taking several other kinds. Confused I just wanted to see words rather than an interpret-able line.

I feel fine thanks Kath - I have been a bit dizzy and sick feeling the past week, plus wiped out by 7pm. But I thought it was down to the progesterone supps. Maybe it is, who knows.

THANK you so much for being so lovely. I know how hard this all is. Me and OH are being very cautiously optimistic, there's no guarantee that this will work out of course.

harrietm87 · 25/06/2017 11:04

Oh kerry!!! Delighted for you! Congratulations!

Pyjamas81 · 25/06/2017 11:26

Omg congratulations Kerry!!!!! Amazing news 😁😁😁😁

HepKestrel · 25/06/2017 11:26

keep calm scandal and best wishes for tuesday.

I will try to go running this afternoon to break out of this funk I am in.

Flashinthepan · 25/06/2017 11:30

I know it's not the outcome you want hep but sometimes when I'm due AF, going for a run brings it on.

Good luck scandal. Does it feel different then your ectopic, or did you not have any symptoms with yours?

LoveRainbow02 · 25/06/2017 11:39

Congratulations Kerry! Wonderful news 😊

sk1pper · 25/06/2017 11:55

Oh my god Kerry - congratulations!!!! Xxxxx

florafoxtrot · 25/06/2017 11:59

Congratulations Kerry that's lovely news. I'm a bit of a newbie to the thread so can I ask was there any reason why you had IUI?

Glad to hear things are looking up for you flash fx it is the start of some more stable hormones.

Sorry to hear about the limbo Hep the final few days of the TWW are always the absolute worst.

Glad to hear it's all going well PJs - please keep us updated as finding it all very fascinating.

AF showed up for me this morning, right on schedule. Had a cry of course and now just sitting feeling totally numb and defeated.

Scandalicity · 25/06/2017 13:04

Flash I think it does feel different, had quite a bit of cramping & discharge last time, which I convinced myself was normal but obviously wasn't. I haven't had any of that this time, and almost keep forgetting, but I was nearly 2 weeks later than I am now when the pain from the ectopic started, so that's the only thing sticking in my head, what if it's just too early to know something is wrong? Trying to keep positive though & remember the odds are on my side!

Pyjamas81 · 25/06/2017 13:25

Going for a run is a good idea flash - the endorphins usually help me.

So sorry about AF flora - remember CD1 is always the worst. Hope you feel better soon 💐💐

And good luck scandal!

Had to do the second injection last night which was harder as it's not just a pen - it's mixing solution, proper syringes and everything. My poor stomach is starting to feel/look like a pin cushion! Next scan and blood test tomorrow morning at 8am (ouch) - fingers crossed all still on track. DH and I had therapy yesterday as well and basically had a mini argument in front of her - all fine now, and having her there to pick out what actually mattered while we went around in circles was a massive help!!

Jamon · 25/06/2017 14:36

OMG 😲 Congratulations Kerry !!! 👏🏼💫 amazing news - so worth going through those. It's making me wonder whether we should try it too now! Wishing you a very healthy and boring 8-9 months xx

Day three of clomid today and I'm definitely more emotional than usual but otherwise okay. I definitely feel better prepared for it this time. Skipper it didn't make me sick - just horrific mood swings, low mood and crying all the time! Hope final preparations are going well for tomorrow. Wish we could see your dress but appreciate it might be a bit outing for on here. Wishing you the happiest day 🙏🏼

Hope you're feeling brighter kath
So sorry AF got you hep and that blanket is beautiful
Hope the baby visit was okay harriet
Ah flora sweetie I'm so sorry. Big big hug for you, it is just shit. Xx
Pyjamas didn't realise you would have to mix stuff, that sounds intense. Glad the therapy is working well for you both still. The pressure this puts on relationships is insane. Counselling should be a mandatory part of fertility treatment.

On that note the book is going really well - I would recommend to anyone long tern TTC. It's already helping me to challenge some of my negative thinking. I'm going to get DH to read the bit about your relationship as she has some really good advice.

Just got back from a hen do glamping, it was good fun but I am very happy to be home on the sofa with DH and the cat catching up with Glasto highlights
