No period or pregnancy symptoms :/??

Since coming off the pill I have had my period bang on time, arriving always on the 3Rd or 4th of each month. Therefore I was expecting my period to come today or yesterday (sat/sun).. Instead since Friday j have had odd bit of brown discharge which I've only noticed from wiping or once using a tampon for a few hours.. I've since been wearing a panty liner and had nothing show up.

I didn't expect to be considering pregnancy this month as I'm the pervious weeks we have been on holiday and avoiding pregnancy via the "pull out" technique. We were told by our nurse before going on holiday to avoid pregnancy until we returned and had a test for the Zika virus.

We hadn't had sex since coming home two weeks ago but haven't had the money to have the test for Zika yet.

Any thoughts on whether this sounds like pregnancy? I haven't really had any other symptoms x

Mine usually start faint and slowly get darker over the days. When do you think I'll ovulate? X

Well judging by your last one you may have a positive tomorrow or day after, everyone's different though. And then you should ovulate 12-36 hours after your positive (but remember that a positive opk doesn't guarantee that ov will happen.

Mine tend to go from practically no second line to super-dark quickly, after several days of no line. I've attached my latest to this post - the top 3 are positive and from today/yesterday. Prior to those I had no line at all pretty much x

The top two of yours are defo positive.. It always make me panic if it's positive or close to because I feel like I've ran out of time. Especially when we haven't been DTD :( x

Hey girls!!

After a dry month we finally DTD last night. Did another OPK just now at 5.40pm.. Within two minutes the second line appeared and was way darker than the test line. Is last nights deed enough? What the recommendation on DTD and when exactly I'll ovulate? X

Oh that test looks positive I think that means you should ovulate within 24-36 hours?!
Exciting :) get baby making! Maybe DTD today and tomorrow?
I'm not sure though, hopefully someone with more knowledge can give better advice.

So got the positive OPK yesterday 18th and we DTD 17th and 18th (last night and night before) will this be good enough? Can't DTD tonight or tomorrow because I'm working nights x

I think it could be.. I believe the sperm can live for 5 days, so hopefully there'll be some hanging round when you ovulate! Fingers crossed :) x

Did another OPK at 4.30pm and it was still just as positive x

Ah well fingers crossed! Surely that's fate?! X

I hope so.. Just got to wait now and hope We've done enough. Won't be trying next month If not so will be an even longer wait if this month isn't our month.

I'll keep everything crossed that this is your month! And even if it's not, make the most of the next month when you won't be trying, an extra glass of wine with dinner etc

Yes so far! We have other things going on right now but I know we'll both want to ttc in the next two months or so. Not entirely sure what we'll decide then! I would still like to have the private test to put my mind at rest but it's just so expensive! X

Bless you both. It's so stressful isnt it. You want to resist trying but its impossible when it's all you want to do. My Hubbie doesn't even attempt to avoid it.. I emailed the site you told me about for the Zika test and they do the test in Sheffield so it's worth you emaiing as well to see If they do it in your town, saves extra for travel. I think I'll be having words with Hubbie to get him tested out and if he's clear then I know I am. X

Hey hun. I did a OPK before I left for work tonight to me it looked like a faint second line is this a good sign? af is due 2/3Rd July? Xxxx

Could possibly be a good sign! Make sure you use FRER when you test around the time AF is due have heard bad things about the Superdrug tests giving false positives xx

I'm hoping it's a good sign going to do OPKs over next few days and see if they get stronger and just hope that af doesn't arrive. I ordered some first response test but haven't got them yet I'll wait a while before I test thou. I always get my hopes up. Plan to test and af comes :( x

My OPK from last night before work and this morning after work, today's was darker... Please tell me this is good news that I'm pregnant???

Yeah they usually come on time each montb except I had that light period and longer lasting last month x

Hi I think OPK should have the line as dark if not darker than control line?
