So in the absence of our lovely founder Hippy, I've set up thread #6 to help us keep up the motivation and PMA.

Congratulations to all our grads, the rest of us may be slacking behind but we'll be there soon!

So sorry archie.

I'm three days late. I had a teeny bit of spotting on Thurs which I thought was af, but it went away. Two BFN on Wednesday and Thursday, haven't tested since. Nausea, rock hard boobs. No intention of testing. I'm gonna hold out, I don't wanna see another negative test. I'd prefer to just assume af is on the way and get on with my weekend.

I'm not sure of what you mean by stats. But I'm 34. Ttc number three and on day 30 of a 28 day cycle. Is that right?

Magpie, I know you must be so happy and so worried at the same time. I hope these first few weeks pass quickly with lots of reassuring symptoms and utterly uneventful for you. Flowers

ArchiesMamaBird · 03/06/2017 11:17

Chips could your spotting have been a late implantation bleed? And it would have been too early for a BFP when you tested?

And yes those stats are brill, I'll do us a list later with all our stats if everyone else wants to add on?

Wonderful news Magpie that's fantastic! Of course you will worry, it's natural, but hope you can keep the anxiety in its box.

Archies I'm so sorry. FX for the next shot.

Chips I don't blame you not wanting to test, I think I'd be happy never to do another test again, I hate that blank box so much. Here's hoping for you too.

My mood is pretty low today, have definitely taken this round a bit harder than usual. But going to get out in the garden today and get some bits done which usually helps me.

My stats (thanks), I'm 38, cycle 11 now of TTC number 2, and on CD2.

xxx

notparticularlypatient · 03/06/2017 11:48

Magpie wonderful news! No wonder you are feeling anxious, but most likely this will be your sticky bean. So happy for you!

Willow sorry to hear you are feeling a bit down. It's hard not to during those first cycle days. Sounds like a good plan to spend time in the garden, I always find that oddly therapeutic.

Thanks for volunteering to do our stats Archies. I have been trying since September, but with a mc in the meantime, so not sure about cycle number. Maybe six? And I am 40, ttc no 3. Bfp is due 24.6.

Hippychic18 · 03/06/2017 12:16

Thanks for doing the list Archies
My stats are
Age38
Ttc#1
Bfp due 30.6
Cycle 6 or 7 grrrrrrr 😊

ArchiesMamaBird · 03/06/2017 13:48

Thanks Ladies 😊 and sorry you're feeling low Willow, I think it gets harder to stay positive the longer that you are trying for. But we will get there xx

Ladies it has happened again. Sad
Woke last night with bad cramps and felt damp. Rushed to the loo and I had started bleeding. It's pouring out now. FFS.

Archies, we are on cycle 12 together.

ArchiesMamaBird · 04/06/2017 08:22

No no no Magpie 😥** I am so, so sorry. Although it will be fab to have you as my cycle 12 buddy, I would much rather that you had gone on to have a healthy pregnancy. Sending you so much love ❤️

Hippychic18 · 04/06/2017 08:57

magpie Flowers xxx

MissMagpie · 04/06/2017 08:59

Thanks, I know, how cruel? Not sure what to do - should I make a doctor's appointment and see what they say?

Hippychic18 · 04/06/2017 09:54

magpies I am really gutted for you Hun, I really am. I genuinely didn't think this would happen again. I would book a docs app just to see if there is anything they can do or recommend you do. Maybe some acupuncture would help. Big hugs xxx

Chipsahoy · 04/06/2017 10:03

I'm so very sorry magpie Sad book an appointment with the Gp for sure.
Be gentle with yourself over the coming days Flowers

ArchiesMamaBird · 04/06/2017 12:22

Magpie yes I agree with the others, I'd definitely book a doctors appointment so they can do some investigations and see what's going on Flowers

Magpie I'm just catching up - I am so sorry Flowers definitely go and see the doctor. Hugs xo

Clara101 · 04/06/2017 15:09

Oh magpie so sorry to hear this...! How many weeks were you?

If you go to Gp suggest asking for vit d test. This comes from all about the egg book. They have a few basic things to check (and correct) for anyone who gets a couple of early losses. Ill check what the others were as can't now remember.

MissMagpie · 04/06/2017 16:39

Thanks Clara. That would be helpful. I have been taking a conception support supplement for a year and I have been making sure I spend time outside everyday so I would be surprised if I am low in vit D but it's definitely worth checking.

CakesALot · 04/06/2017 17:50

So so sorry @MissMagpie that's devastating. Definitely talk to the doctors. When I had a mc I was told that they mostly put them down to chance but will investigate after 3 to see if there's an underlying cause. It's worth getting these last 2 months on record with your gp I think. Hope you're ok hun xx

notparticularlypatient · 04/06/2017 22:01

Magpie I'm so sorry that this has happened again. Also agree that you should check with your gp and get it recorded. Hopefully you have just had a couple of unlucky eggs the previous cycles, and since your body seems very fertile at the moment, there will soon be a next time and then likely all will work out fine. But this must be very difficult. Thinking of you.

Cakes, I laughed hard reading that article... At least my short lp saves me a lot of money since af turns up before I get to to testGrin

Chipsahoy · 05/06/2017 07:22

Af finally arrived last night on day 32. I'd just started to get my hopes up too. Antibiotics always mess me up. My hormones are imbalanced, period was late, sore boobs and skin is breaking out. I'm feeling a little sad but mostly concerned about the imbalance.
Dh has been lovely but he tells me to relax.
It's really hard to. I don't wanna be caught up in fertile periods and symptom spotting and testing. But when it's happening to your body, it's hard not too, right?

Magpie, I hope you manage to get into the drs today.

CakesALot · 05/06/2017 08:00

So sorry @Chipsahoy. I've been trying to switch off this cycle but I've been doing this a while now and I can't help but know when my fertile period is and when af is due and getting a twinge and wondering if it's a symptom... I have relaxed more this cycle but you never fully can. You're not alone in that one!

Hippychic18 · 05/06/2017 08:35

Morning ladies :)
chips sorry that af has arrived for you Flowers. Completely understand the getting your hopes up and your right it is hard to relax and not know when your fertile and when she's due. In terms of your concern regarding imbalances - Emma Cannon has written a few good books that you may find useful - the baby making baby and total fertility are really good, you may find some advice on how to address and imbalances in these books xxx
