Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

We've been going a while now so the novelty has worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Loving the Mooncup love though. I use a different brand, Duchess I think, and am a total convert. I use the smallest size as no vaginal birth and it's been fine, but don't know how different the sizing is to Mooncups.

My OPKs have gone right back to negative so this cycle is either anovulatory or very long. It's pissed me off but DP is typically laid back about it, like waiting for next month means nothing. I know that in the grand scheme of things he's right, but bloody hell I wish he could empathise with my frustration!!

I have had so much incredible advise from this thread: everything from guidance on procedures to which low alcoholic beer is the best. So mooncup is definitely on my list now, thanks girls. This may be the worlds stupidest question, but I guess you have to remove it to pee?

Haha I hadn't really thought of that... I wonder why they have those particular instructions? It is odd thinking about it.

Inspector I really feel for you, you have every right to be peed off! Missing a cycle and having to deal with unpredictable cycles is additional torture in this long, TTC slog. Can't remember if you're starting Clomid soon? If I was you I'd tell your dh exactly how you're feeling and make him understand how frustrating/painful missing a cycle is for you

No Skip you can leave it in while you pee I leave mine in for quite a while too, for example- had a shower at 7pm, inserted mooncup straight after, didn't empty it until about 9am the next day (it was the weekend).

Aw, thanks Alexia. I know he means well and is lovely and just trying to make me feel better, but sometimes you just want your significant other to say "Yes, this is shit"!

I'm not due to start Clomid as cycles have been pretty regular for the last year. I am toying with activating the IVF referral next month though. After all, I'll be 37 in a few months so time isn't exactly on my side.

Sk1pper I tried the San Miguel alcohol free beer recently and it's my new favourite!

Jam and PJs I think we need to take the victories wherever we can. We haven't given birth and our vaginas are respectably tight!!!

Same question as Kath - don't remember hitting 30 and my foof becoming suddenly larger. That would have been highly traumatic....

FW allegedly starts tmrw but got three GOS in already so feeling perky. Going for the Alexia approach and will OPK and temp until ov is confirmed - then go about my life for the rest of the TWW and hopefully be less of a psycho.

I was reading the instructions so literally I was actually ready to purchase a new one as soon as I turned 30 if I hadn't popped a kid out before then! Oh dear.

Flora that sounds perfect! GL for this cycle 🍀 If you do wake naturally around your normal temp time you could do a few sneaky temps (I can't resist!)

Had a very GOS last night. I think because we hadn't been allowed due to HSG we were both very keen 😉 makes a nice change!

Lots of ovulation pain going on so I'm hoping some magical science is happening. Will a sperm and egg ever meet in my abdomen???

Going to work with DH today, we're off to San Francisco for 3 days. Very lucky girl. Hoping two long haul flights don't make a difference.

I stupidly tested this morning and was obvs BFN. Think af due on the 13th, not sure tho as stupid cycle and had pos opk on cd10, 2 days earlier than usual.

Anyone take Evening primrose oil? Took it this cycle up to ovulation so wondering if that could be why ov started earlier? Or prob more likely stress at work! Not sure whether to carry on with it next cycle
