Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

We've been going a while now so the novelty has worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

Don't mean to be Hilda Hopeful, but will you be happy to go on spa break if AF becomes a BFP?

Thanks flash! And yep, I did think about that. Then came to the conclusion it's more likely to be AF (oh how jaded I've become) and I simply can't deal with another fight with DH when I'll already feel shit. If it is a BFP, I'll use the time to get my head around it and relax!

Sounds like an excellent plan. How are things with DH since the therapy session/when is your next one?

It's been a bit 'flat' and strained while we process things - weirdly, the enforced HS is helping us not drift into our respective corners entirely! We'll hopefully be able to get an appointment in for next week.

Hep - The only way I remember my cycle number now is by updating a note on my phone every time it rolls over. It's miserable isn't it

So many new people starting Clomid. Let me know how you get on. I burst into tears last night after taking my last batch for this cycle. OH says, "is this one of those weird hormonal things she warned us about?" And I'm like "I imagined you getting hit by a bus."

You should have seen his face 😂. True story though, fuck knows why my mind was thinking that.

Welcome basset I'd say it was 12 months and get your bloods and semen analysis booked in. But then I've been doing this far too long. It is normal for conception to take up to a year! I hope you are not waiting too much longer

I know what you mean lisa about the false hope thing, but I think if there is a chance you might still catch the egg then I would. A positive OPK means you will ovulate within 72 hours I think, so have a good shag when you get in from work! Have you noticed your CM turned white yet? That's a good sign you have ovulated

skipper we definitely have. Perhaps one to reflect in the thread title, but I don't to scare people off. I guess we now have a lot of knowledge to share, but luckily for most people they don't need half of it! /sighs jealously

The only way I know my cycle number is because I write them in my pink pad app every time I get my period :( so depressing!

Oh pug sorry you've had a rubbish day. Sometimes its all just too much. That is excited about clomid though and definitely something positive to focus on

Got more EWCM today so reckon +OPK is not far off... DH gets back from work trip tomorrow so it will be back to the shag wagon for us. If I'm up to it after my HSG tomorrow morning that is! ERK. I am not looking forward to that :(

I used to rely on Jam so that I knew what cycle I was on. Now I'm confused because my two weirdly long cycles have put me behind!

sk1pper, oh dear, I don't think your DH was quite expecting that! Deffo blame the Clomid though.

Pyjamas, glad you've finally got that OPK. A spa break sounds pretty blissful right now and an excellent idea whether AF arrives then or not.

Lisa, if you and DH want to HS tonight then go for it. I think you're still in with a chance this cycle anyway and DH might appreciate the opportunity to try again without any pressure.

@Londonjam Yeah myself and my partner have had all tests done and everything has came back fine. I had a laparoscopy last august to check for endometriosis and blocked tubes and that came back all clear too.

Wow Rainbow, did you have to ask for a Laparoscopy or was it part of general procedure where you are regionally?

No my consultant suggested for me to have it done as all other tests came back normal. It was a last resort really. Scheduled for IUI sometime in the summer now.

Good luck tomorrow Jam! Mine was pretty painless and we got straight into DTD that night so hope it's the same for you.

Pyjamas I echo Kath and think the break will be wonderful for you. You've got so much to process and deal with right now (and are doing brilliantly!) that some space - physically and mentally - is bound to help.

Sk1pper I'm sorry, I did laugh at that. Let's hope the slight craziness is a sign those hormones are in overdrive creating the perfect breeding ground.

Sat in the reception of Bootcamp waiting for class to start now. It's the last thing I feel like doing but my podge is getting me down and it's never going to shift unless I do something about it! 😬

Just did another opk and the line is blazing strong - hurry up DH! Although prob won't HS until bedtime - he can't do anything until after he's eaten ha ha.

Hope your HSG goes ok jam - it wasn't a pleasant experience for me, but was good to know everything is working as it should!

Well done inspector on the bootcamp too! I did manage to do 10k yesterday and my legs feel tired today but mentally I'm in such a better place than last week - feeling like I can actually focus at work (apart from when on mn obvs...)

I had been trying for a year with no luck before I even got the chance to go to a fertility clinic. Yeah hopefully then next couple of months go by quickly. I've got docs tomorrow for a blood test as I'm 2 weeks late. Cycle just seems to have messed up randomly.

DPs first SA came back with "clumping" so not swimming properly. Given antibiotics as Dr thought it was due to infection. Had repeat SA last week and great results.I've had cd21 bloods all fine. I have Dr app on 16th to be referred to Gynae.

Recently diagnosed PCOS, never even a hint of a BFP, DH SA next week then referral to fertility clinic🤞

Skipper I had to count back in my phone to work out where I'm at cycle wise, especially with my long cycles that confuse me. And I know I'm one of the "newer" members here.. it's just so sad how many people have come and gone with their BFPs 😞 I hope we all get our BFPs on this thread 🙏🙏🙏

I'm so upset, there are no seats left together on the aircraft for me and my partners trip to Tokyo. I've emailed Singapore airlines to beg them to do something...I had no idea I had to advance book seats. Work booked the flights for me.

Ignorance is sometimes bliss as a little scared to know if there is anything wrong but also worry we are trying and fighting a losing battle at the same time. Still waiting for Ov day. Was cd 18 last time :s

alexia thank you for your kind message, I'm sure it is just a combo of all those things, feel very disappointed about AF, suppose I was hoping that I might be one of those very lucky few who conceived same cycle as the hsg. Having this secondment hanging over my head is not helping. Feel very lucky to have not just wonderful colleagues and an amazing team leader who have helped me feel better, but also you ladies on here as someone to sound off too.

Good luck with your HSG tomorrow london. Take some pain killers 1 hour before to take the edge off. It seems it varies with how much pain each person feels, so you may be one of the lucky ones!

Bugger sk1p but they never fill all the seats so hopefully they'll be able to help you out. The same happened to us on our flight to Japan, at the check in queue we asked if they could do anything, they released the final row at the back which was just a row of 2 and they hadnt previously made available to select.

Bassett - if you're worried, I'd go to the dr early and just lie about how long you've been trying. By the time you've had the basic tests and been referred to a consultant it will be that long anyway.

Your doctor sounds really thorough rainbow. Hardly any seem to check for endometriosis, but then perhaps you need to be showing signs you might have it.

My friend who very sadly had that late miscarriage had undetected endometriosis her uterus ruptured and she was lucky to survive. She had gone into hospital with stomach pain at 30 weeks and was sent home! Shocking.

I'm a bit worried that I'll get my hopes up for post HSG BFP too but we've not had that effect here in our group so maybe that will temper my expectations
