Does anyone else use there heart rate monitor on there Fitbit to monitor when they have ovulated? Saw a post on here recently where someone was but can't find it now. Been reading up on it thought it would be interesting to see how many of you guys did?

I was on a very active holiday after suggested ovulation this month btw which could have something to do with the fluctuating RHR this month compared to last.

gerriberry · 30/10/2017 13:45

@micropig, I do think that if you sudd Bly become. Ore active that usual it will effect your chart!!! Xx

fuzzywuzzyy · 16/11/2017 18:29

Hi @fuzzywuzzyy can't help you there I'm afraid. I haven't even found when I ovulate yet and I've been doing this three months now. I'd hoped that I'd find a pattern by now but as you can see in these graphs, every month has been totally different!

First graph is all three months on top of each other, most recent month is the thick red one. Yellow bars are AF. Second graph is the months in a row, with the line through it indicating the start of a new cycle.

Can't see any links in any of them except a big rose and fall around AF. I had the cold around AF this month so I think that's why there was a difference there.

Oh and my predicted fertile window is just beginning, it's been predicted the same time each month which you can see seems to be a period of stable RHR followed by a gradual increase to AF. No idea if that's right though as it's just based on my cycle length.

Hi all!

I'm super new here and was not actively ttc, but would be happy nonetheless ☺ not sure what to make of my chart as I just stopped taking my birth control (on and off between the patch and pills since July) patch the Sunday before Halloween, so im not sure if I'm ovulating yet or not (last time I got pregnant was within a week of coming off bcp, but this was 7 years ago). IF my hr has any indication, i believe i o'd on the 12th (had EWCM on and off from that thursday through sunday)

Itsmeduhhh · 19/11/2017 20:32

Sorry posted beforw i could finish ha so i THINK i o'd on the 12th and my hr has increased since.. any ideas?

Might help if I knew how to post a pic 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

fuzzywuzzyy · 19/11/2017 21:26

@fuzzywuzzy mine has gone weird this month too. Normally mine rising by a few beats at ovulation and stays up until around implantation then drops down again for the few days before AF arrives!! This month it don’t rise at Ovulation and has just started to rise in the last few days around the time I would expect implantation! Have attached charts!! Don’t know what’s going on!!! (Red is AF, Green is ovulation and yellow is around implantation time)

The bigger graph is this month and the two smaller ones are September and October!!

juneybean · 26/11/2017 12:14

Mine too is really high this month and I had a month off from TTC so definitely not pregnant! It's very weird!

gerriberry · 26/11/2017 12:22

@juneybean, it so weird and I’m trying not to get my hopes up! I’ve also had cm everyday from ovulation. AF is due 29th so will wait and see!! Going to wait until Friday and if it hasn’t showed before then I will test, but no doubt it will probably put in an appearance before that!! 😒

gerriberry · 26/11/2017 12:23

@itsmeduhhh, your chart looks similar to what mine usually does, rises after ovulation and then if AF is coming it starts dropping about 2/3 days before AF arrives!! Xxx

gerriberry · 27/11/2017 07:17

Still increasing today! AF due Wednesday!! Really tempted to test as I’m getting my hopes up but going to hold off until Thursday as I have no tests in the house and am sick of buying them early and testing and then AF turning up when it’s due! Going to be hard to wait though!!

juneybean · 27/11/2017 12:34

That's exciting @gerriberry !!

gerriberry · 27/11/2017 13:44

I know @juneybean and I have had left pelvic pain today and yesterday. Ended up in the chemist today and despite what I said bought a first response so going to test in the morning!!!

gerriberry · 28/11/2017 06:52

12dpo, heart rate still high at 71bpm but BFN this morning on a First Response so I guess I’m out!! Don’t know what’s going on with my rhr though!!

Is anybody still watching this thread?

gerriberry · 14/12/2017 18:42

I’m still here xxx

intelligentPutty · 14/12/2017 18:51

Me too. But removed my Fitbit as it stressed me out too much.!!!

juneybean · 16/12/2017 20:47

I'm still here x

CRZ1988 · 17/12/2017 12:16

I've been monitoring my rhr along with using OPKs. I had a strong positive on the one I did yesterday but my rhr still hasn't dropped. When I started using my Fitbit back in November it was around 51 and it's climbed to 63 and started to drop to 61 today. Would that indicate that ovulation is imminent?

This is my chart as of this morning.

I know this is an ancient thread but I’ve been reading this with interest and noticed a similar trend with my own heartrate the past cycle. Got a BFP this week! How long before Fitbit start marketing the wristbands as a fertility monitor I wonder!?

I think most of the ladies on here who got BFPs will have had their babies now. Hope all is well and thanks for sharing all this info a year or so ago!!
