Does anyone else use there heart rate monitor on there Fitbit to monitor when they have ovulated? Saw a post on here recently where someone was but can't find it now. Been reading up on it thought it would be interesting to see how many of you guys did?

I thought mine was looking promising, now I'm not so sure. We'll see what it does over the next couple days...
Currently 9dpo.

HolyShmoly · 30/09/2017 11:52

Oh fingers crossed bambino! Are you testing if at doesn't come tomorrow?

BabyKangaroo90 · 30/09/2017 20:51

So straight after I posted that, it adjusted and went down! Gutted! I already tested and it was BFN but think i was way too early if I'm in with a chance as it's only been a week since I ovulated!

Argh, so frustrating!
Mine has stuck steady at 70. I'm feeling really down about it today, and I'm not even due until Wednesday.

BabyKangaroo90 · 30/09/2017 23:05

It's so hard not to get down about it isn't it! I'm just not convinced that this will be our month and it's so hard to wait! X

HolyShmoly · 01/10/2017 08:50

Just to throw a spanner in the works after my non-climber I've just had a BFP! Hopefully it's a sticky bean.

Omg @holyshmoly !!! Congratulations!!!

BabyKangaroo90 · 01/10/2017 09:38

Ahhh!! Congratulations!! How many DPO are you now then? I'm only 9dpo and did a test but don't think there's anything there...

Thanks both, I'm delighted but still a bit scared that AF will come on schedule on Wednesday!
I'm 11dpo today. I think I implanted on 6dpo though, based on my HR drop and sore stomach that day. I guess the next thing is calling the doctor tomorrow to make an appt.

intelligentPutty · 01/10/2017 21:48

Wow. Congrats @HolyShmoly
Sort of shows how much the hr doesn't help with showing a BFP!! ;)
and sorry to juney. Hope next month is good to you.

BabyKangaroo90 · 02/10/2017 06:38

Another BFN, RHR dropped to 70 and I have a headache which I always get before AF. It's not looking good Confused

intelligentPutty · 02/10/2017 06:52

Aw @Bambino90 sorry to hear that. Next month. ;) xx

PeppaPigOinkOink · 02/10/2017 06:55

I noticed my HR elevated too OP. I can't tell you if it was raised at ovulation but I remember before I got my BFP that it was about 8-10 BPM up from my normal resting HR. This continued to be the case for my whole pregnancy.

BabyKangaroo90 · 03/10/2017 07:04

Still not out yet! RHR back up again today, AF 2 days late but still having BFN On tests. I didn't ovulate till day 22 of what is usually a 29 day cycle to the day! Really unusual for me to be late so fingers crossed x

Upsydasiy · 03/10/2017 13:54

Just reading this thread and looking at my Fitbit noticed my hr dips around the tip of AF then peaked around the time I'd of expected to ovulate (don't temp or chart, not long stopped contraception so cycle probably a mess) although it's declined since then so that's me probably out this month 😔🤞

Hulaballoo · 03/10/2017 13:59

Does your RHR peak at ovulation or just before? I have a clear peak but my lowest RHR is 2nd day of af.... Would the peak be ovulation? Hmm

HolyShmoly · 04/10/2017 19:02

Mine actually dips at ovulation then rises again, dipping a couple days before AF.

I'm officially late now and a digital test this morning confirmed I'm 2-3 weeks pregnant. In the interest of nosiness science here's a comparison chart of the three months I have data for. My rhr increased fairly early on, I think that was due to steps I took to improve my circulation. Obviously a lower rhr is better, but I think this helped me.

@Bambino90 any update?

BabyKangaroo90 · 04/10/2017 20:08

I'm now 4 days late although i would have ovulated 2 weeks ago from this Friday coming so I'm not really sure what to think yet? X

micropig · 06/10/2017 10:46

Holy thanks for the comparison chart and congratulations!!

micropig · 06/10/2017 10:50

Here's my chart currently. The peak at 74 was the day AF started, and I'm not in my ovulation window according to Glow. My heart rate has dropped today so it looks like I am coming into ovulation if holys chart is anything to go by. Have a friend over for a visit next week so fingers crossed I'm ovulating now, as i won't get much baby making done while they are here lol.

Fingers crossed this is my month!

Hulaballoo · 06/10/2017 16:38

I'm so confused with this. I'm all backwards...My RHR is at its lowest the day af starts or the day after .... I'm assuming my peak is around ovulation but I haven't pinned down when ovulation is yet 😥 is that odd? As some of you after saying your lowest is at ovulation?

HolyShmoly · 06/10/2017 18:40

I think it's best to work out what your own rhythm is like, I think a lot of people's differ. I found it easier to layer my charts to see the pattern, but I also was checking cm, etc to check ovulation.

heyheybaby · 06/10/2017 18:43

I agree with holy, I have been reading along I'm not starting ttc until March time but I have began tracking my cycles And have been overlapping my monthly charts on excel spreadsheet and I can see a pattern now :)
