Morning all, keepon, sending tentative congratulations and keeping fx for a stronger bfp very soon! Hope the gig was good.
Miami, I totally know what you mean about tupperware, but I don't know what the solution to bringing food to work is? We've made a massive effort the last 6 odd months to have healthy lunches at work and not buy crap. It's mostly veggie curries and chillis or salads with cheese or falafel or something. I'm not crazy about the weird marks the pots get but not sure what else I'd use.
Welcome Wibble, I'm so sorry for your losses
I don't have any children yet but we're in exactly the same position wrt losses, how odd. MC 5 weeks in August 16, MMC 12 weeks November 16, MC 5 weeks February this year. As I had another early loss many years ago which I put on my booking in paperwork I was referred to the RMC after the MMC and had started treatment for my last one, but the early HCG tests showed it didn't ever get off the ground and I started bleeding at 5 weeks on the dot.
My RMC is a fortnightly clinic and I've been twice, once in early June where, like Miami, they ran a load of bloods and took a medical history. DH and I both really wanted him to be there, I had pretty epic stress and anxiety about the whole thing as we got test results of the tissue from the surgery I had for the MMC (all was clear), and didn't know what to expect. He already has children so no known issues with him, but that might be something they double check down the line.
My 2nd appointment was when I went to get the blood test results for me, and I had a bfp that morning so it was full steam ahead rather than much discussion about tests. I'm back there next week so might be a more calm and a chance to discuss other options as I've obviously now had another loss.
I take a pregnancy vitamin and extra vitamin D, I also have B12 injections as that's a long standing deficiency, not related to ttc.
The miscarriage association has a leaflet on the tests you can expect from a RMC, I'll post a link later if I can find it again. It's good to rule out anything you know isn't an issue. And write a list of any questions and thoughts you have as they come up, I found that helpful.
I was having reflexology when I was pregnant last autumn and keeping thinking I'll start that again. I do bits of yoga at home and a lot of people find that really helpful for stress levels and general wellbeing. It's probably not going to get you to conceive on its own but can be part of a healthy lifestyle.
You're in good kind understanding company here, talking is so helpful. This lot have literally kept me sane over the past several months.
