Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

Here's our Grad's Thread. May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Hi all, busy weekend of chat. I think I've managed to catch up.

peaches congratulations, brilliant news 😊

harriet we made an island out of IKEA cabinets and love it! I think they're kitchens are great. We've also got Ikea wardrobes which I absolutely love.

Loads of TWWers at the mo. Got my fingers crossed for you all.

So I'm down to test on wed. Still on knicker watch and nothing. Boobs are still pretty sore, been cramping on and off for the last 5 days and heart has been pounding.
But I've suddenly become terrified of testing! I mixed up my dates and think my longest cycle would take me to Thursday but that's only if I ovulated really late which I don't think I did. I'm CD 30 today (and have clearly gone a bit mad). So jam please pop me down for 22nd but I might chicken out!

harrietm87 · 20/02/2017 11:26

Aw I'm not a grad anymore jam. Assuming everything goes back to normal next AF is due 19 March (ages away - bloody long cycles) but who knows.

Great there is lots of Ikea kitchen love! kathrino where did you get your worktops?

Gaelach · 20/02/2017 11:31

jam stick me down for 26th as well please! I'll be 12dpo then

AlexiaB · 20/02/2017 11:57

Jam can you put me down for 11th March please? No idea when I'm going to O though. Your tww sounds great, everything crossed for you!

I don't have an ikea kitchen but I have their dressing table, Alex drawers, wardrobes etc. Love it! Sleek and affordable.

Great HS plan Kaydee

I really wish I was more like you pyjamas. PT and food prep whilst ill... Wow!

Wishing everyone so much luck in their tww's. Would love to see a whole load of BFPs roll in!!

Hope you're ok Mouse and Skipper. Miss you both and you Kwick Flowers

I still feel awful. We've only managed to HS CD10 night and will go again tonight (CD12). I'm pretty sure being ill will delay O as my opks are snowy white but my BBT chart is crazy!!! Today I got a definite post-O temp. It has to be because I'm sick, surely?

Sorry I missed your post Binky. Fx your bloods are normal and like others have said, that the NHS are just being super efficient re. your scan. Good luck lovely xx

Harriet, we've got corian worktops. We have white units (they were called Adel, not sure if the name is the same these days) and a dark speckled worktop which work quite well. I did want granite to start with but the cost was rather more than our budget and corian seemed like a good compromise.

WingingIt83 · 20/02/2017 12:51

Put me down for 27th please jam although AF due to arrive this Thursday so I suspect as per usually I won't make it that far as got bugger all in way of symptoms

MissyJones80s · 20/02/2017 12:53

jam can you add me for 25/26 Feb please thanks. Not sure exactly when AF due but tracker says 25th so may test then or next day if no show!

gaelach I'm with you on the boob thing although mine just feel tender and firm, however just doing a flash and relaxed symptom spotting!

Sorry to hear all you guys have terrible colds and general rankness it does mess with your system and big up to those of you who have had a GOS I couldn't face it when I had it earlier this month eugh! It is def doing the rounds. I've been hanging an exhibition this morning and my tech guys have been hacking all sorts up ew I'm holding my breath!

binky totally get why you are like wtf why has my appointment come through so quick I'd be exactly the same however it is more than likely just them being efficient or maybe someone cancelled...they call all times of the week now by dad had an appointment the other week on a Sunday!

On to symptom spotting of the relaxed kind...heavy firm and super tender boobs, heart racing last night (like you macs), twinges down there few days post ov, still got creamy CM, weird fluttery sensation down there to the right this morning like someone tapping from the inside (prob just wind lol), had glass of wine last night and just didn't fancy it...aside from that I feel just like any other month in fact I get a lot of the above most months so meh! Ha!

alexia on to temps...your chart reminds me of mine when I had awful cold at start of month so prob just that, won't make spotting OV and easier though will it! My temping stopped a couple of days back when I left my thermometer round my moms after staying over rarrrrrrr so annoyed at myself. Get it back tonight so will see what's going on there tomorrow...

DH away now for a bit hate it when he has to fly (flying terrifies me) got that flight tracker thing on my phone and keep checking it...not doing me any good though Sad

Flashinthepan · 20/02/2017 13:13

That's so weird! Missy and Mac, last night, 5 dpo, I was lying in bed trying to sleep and felt like my heart was going to thump out of my chest, it stopped me falling asleep for a few minutes until it calmed down.

sk1pper · 20/02/2017 13:25

Alexia - still here. Just struggling at the moment because my cycles are draining me - more and more issues coming to the surface as the days/months go on.

Hope everyone is doing okay, still secretly supporting each and every one of you.

Sorry I have to laugh at this but EVERYTIME I post a test date AF arrives, it's become spookily frequent. So having just posted the above about expecting her on the dot on Thursday, just visited the ladies and hello cycle 13!

Not sure if that was a 24 or 25 day cycle but given how much blood there is I don't think it's really appropriate to count tomorrow as day 1. So 24 day it is, a new record for me!!!

Flashinthepan · 20/02/2017 13:40

Awww winging, what a bitch she is!
If your cycles are shortening, you may be OVing earlier than you think.

Londonjam · 20/02/2017 13:54

Sorry winging :( Is that a record in terms of it being too short? Are you taking anything to lengthen it?

If you want me to add your next test date I'll move you onto BFP due March. You are in good company there :)

Londonjam · 20/02/2017 13:55

Hi skipper, hope you are okay. Where are you at with tests and things? You are still in early post-HSG cycles - I hope that's giving you a boost this month. Hope it's not much longer for you.

sk1pper · 20/02/2017 14:56

Yup still early HSG but it's causing me to cramp all throughout my cycle now. Not bad cramping, it's like wind but it's unpleasant and I'm sick to death of it. Period was horrendous and I'm terrified of ovulating incase I get another painful cyst rupture. OH wants to stop it all and adopt (we were always planning to adopt a second child anyway) but I'm not willing to give up now we've come this far.

As you can see PMA is really non existant hence my abscence from the thread. Will catch up soon I promise, any news from Kwick?

Mrsbluebell17 · 20/02/2017 14:57

Hi Jam
Please put me down for testing on 10th March.

Sorry to all the BFPs I've missed - massive congrats to you all. Hope the tww isn't driving too many of you insane.

I've been uber quiet for a couple of weeks, sorry - not feeling great about the whole situation and so trying to keep focussed on everything else. Have a girls night away this weekend just around the time OV is expected so not feeling my chances this month either.
AF was super heavy this month and painful too but the good news is it only lasted 5/6 days versus the previous 11!

Sorry for the moan, I'll try and drop by again soon to sprinkle more baby dust!

AliceScarlett · 20/02/2017 15:45

Hi all. Glad to see we have had some grads since I was last here.

Kwick hugs to you.

I am not going to the fertility clinic, or actively ttc anymore. I won't go back on contraception but trying to get pregnant isn't something I'm able to put my heart into anymore. If I fall pregnant, great, if not, thats that. Not in my hands.

Best of luck everyone xx

MrsG280516 · 20/02/2017 16:17

Thank you Alexia - I come and catch up on this thread every now and then but don't want to baby bomb. Sending preggo vibes to you all, hope you get your chance to join us very soon. I'm 16+1 now and time is going so very fast.

AlexiaB · 20/02/2017 16:23

Very sorry about AF winging Flowers I don't think a 24 day cycle is anything to worry about (it makes the wait shorter!) if your LP was at least 12 days.

Hey skipper sorry you're feeling so down, big hugs. Don't worry about not being strictly PMA - moan all you want! I know the feeling. This is just bullshit and heartache month after month with no end in sight. It's hard go stay positive. All we want is a baby of our own and a family, not much to ask right? Anyone who's pregnant or has a baby should NEVER take that for granted. It's such a gift. At this point I feel like I need a miracle and I don't even believe in God. I hope our time is coming very soon my friend ❤️

I'm the ultimate creep and have found kwick positing on her medicated thread #makeithappen. She isn't doing too well which is to be expected and is taking some time out from work which I'm pleased about. I know you're the queen of PMA kwick but please don't feel like you can't come here and moan to us. We love you Flowers

Aww Alice I got teary reading your message Sad I hope you get a surprise bfp very soon - and please pop back to let us know! Best of luck xx

WingingIt83 · 20/02/2017 16:26

jam let's try 21st March please!

Yes 24 days a record short cycle. I guess technically if I mark hour to hour it's nearer 24.5 but I'd been so consistently 27/28/29 for past few months I'd though my short LP days were behind me. I haven't actively done anything to lengthen it for a while as felt I was messing with my body too much supplement wise.

I didn't test or temp this month but we HS EOD since day 9 up until day 17. My EWCM appeared on similar days to usual (and normally when testing ov has been on day 16-18).

AlexiaB · 20/02/2017 16:29

Cross post MrsG - glad all is going well for you Smile I understand you not wanting to post here lots but we don't mind. I'm so nosey anyway so I'll continue to stalk you all so that if I ever get the chance to join I'll be up to date on everything. It really does feel your pregnancy has gone so fast, you'll be half way there soon! Pregnancy goes 1 billion times fast than TTC (in my head anyway lol)

Kaydee2017 · 20/02/2017 16:51

Sorry about AF winging Flowers though agree with alexia - as long as your lp is something like, it's not too bad!

Flowers for bluebell, Alice & skipper too - so sorry you're struggling

Thanks for the list jam - like that we are all spread out, BFPs throughout the month!!

I am another with an IKEA kitchen Harriet - FIL fit ours with some adjustments (he is a joiner) but the units etc are great!

Fx missy, mac & flash Grin

Alexia - hope you start to feel better soon!!

SmittenPears · 20/02/2017 17:06

March 7 for me, Jam!
