Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

Here's our Grad's Thread. May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Congratulations, Peaches and Claire! (Sorry I'm a bit behind with thread!) Wonderful news.

Hope at those who have a lurgy of some sort are feeling much better soon, and that everyone else is doing well and having a good weekend.

⭐️ xx

Binkybunny13 · 19/02/2017 17:08

Sunday afternoon catch up time! (Also distraction from housework 😂)

Firstly, congratulations peaches 😊 what fantastic news! Hope that you have an uneventful 9months

Pyjamas well done with the GOS (and the gym you crazy person) despite being ill! Hope you're feeling better- and you too alexia

Glad you're seeing someone soon re: bleeding flash, and hope it's just down to your juicy eggs! Good that they're referring you on too vi 👍

Excellent shagging carley- fx!

How's your DH doing kathrino? Sounds like maybe he's been hit by the appointment- hope you're both ok

I feel a bit left out living in London but not working for "the" company 😂 Also, had no idea about baby aspirin, might have a go with that- thanks for all being so knowledgeable as well as supportive!

As for me, We didn't HS Friday- long story but DH messed up all plans, but finally got some in the morning. Hoping I might be able to talk him into another go tonight 😉 Also, the hospital have rung me to book my fanjo-cam appointment in 10 days..I'm a little concerned that they've rung me at the weekend and got me in quite fast, hoping it's just a waiting time initiative rather than anything dodgy from my bloods. Am going to try and pick up a copy of my results tomorrow/ Tuesday to put my mind at rest

harrietm87 · 19/02/2017 18:33

Ha ha binky don't worry I don't work for them either! I am a solicitor though so have worked with them (and against on occasion!) if that counts.

Congrats peaches! Really inspiring that it happened after your fuck it weekend, and almost a year after your last bfp. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy and hope we all join you soon!

I've had a fun afternoon in ikea looking at kitchens for our new house which has been a good distraction! Totally overwhelming. We managed
to leave without buying anything or falling out with each other which must be some kind of record!

glitteryvibes · 19/02/2017 18:43

harriet I Love ikea!! Not been in ages though as end up not finding things we need and buy random items instead. We plan to do our kitchen this year, cannot wait, it looks like an old ladies kitchen at the moment.

WingingIt83 · 19/02/2017 19:26

Congrats peaches!!

We miss you kwick but you'll be proud of me as I've just had my copy of 'it starts with the egg' arrive Smile

Pyjamas81 · 19/02/2017 19:34

Ha ha peaches - your 'drier than a desert' comment made me laugh! That's exactly it with my DH, I'm not convinced there's anything there when we go for consecutive days!

Don't feel left out binky - think of it as escape (Sunday night blues setting in!)

I'm feeling much better now (seems to moved from the flu to a cold stage). Have prepped meals for the week so tomorrow's lunch and dinner are sorted, along with Tuesday and Thursday's lunch 😊

Going to catch up on Taboo with DH then an early night for GOS 😉 Am on CD 11 and typically ov around CD 12, so we need to make it a good one! I don't get EWCM, so it really is a guessing game.

Am going to re-read my copy of it starts with the egg winging. I first got it when we started ttc, so only skimmed it - need to pay attention now!

Flashinthepan · 19/02/2017 19:43

Congrats peaches! So thrilled for you. And on an internet cheapie too!

Binkybunny13 · 19/02/2017 20:05

Harriet very jealous of ikea trip- I looooove anything homey!

And pyjamas, I am so impressed by your lunch prepping! I want to be that type of person but I always seem to collapse in a heap after dinner!😬

Miranda234 · 19/02/2017 21:19

Huge congratulations peaches Smile

Pyjamas81 · 19/02/2017 21:42

Am on a bit of a health kick binky - if I don't prep meals in advance I end up eating crap!

Hope everyone has had a good Sunday 😊 Can't believe it's Monday again tomorrow and it's only now that I'm feeling a bit better! Bah.

SmittenPears · 19/02/2017 22:24

Flashinthepan · 19/02/2017 22:33

Ive just made 3 litres of beef broth soup! Is that good 2ww food? Nice pineapple smitten! Also, relaxed symptom awareness for 5 DPO is veiny boobs.

Gaelach · 19/02/2017 22:37

Congrats peaches Star

Relaxed symptom awareness is a great description flash I'm also 5dpo and my boobs are hanging like 2 water balloons, so heavy. I'm off upstairs to check for veins...

Flashinthepan · 19/02/2017 23:06

Ooo gaelach whens af/bfp due? Xx

Gaelach · 19/02/2017 23:10

AF is due 1/3 going to try not to test until 26th. I need to exhibit some self-control this month. What about you?

Kaydee2017 · 20/02/2017 07:22

Glad you're feeling better pyjamas - hope you're on the mend soon too alexia Flowers

Sorry your DH scuppered plans on Friday binky - hope you got one in last night!! And hope you were on track too pyjamas Grin

LSFX smitten, flash & gaelach!!

CD12 today and have HS Saturday & yesterday Smile giving DH the day off today & hoping for Tuesday & Wednesday then (think I Ov'd CD15 last month), LSFX all!!

Londonjam · 20/02/2017 08:43

Fx with picking your results up binky - and that's great news on getting your scan in quick.

This baby aspirin ... where would one buy that? And is it actually called baby aspirin in the shops? Is it for babies?

Excellent IKEA -big Harriet!

I'm in admiration of your food prep pyjamas . I bought some ingredients but accidentally didn't get round to making it...

I did however have my first two hot cross buns of the year! Hurrah.

Beef broth sounds yum flash

Sounds like good timing / plan kaydee

Fx for all in TWW. I reckon I'm 2 DPO today. My plan for the TWW is to exercise and to HS at least once (we get so lazy).

Has anyone seen skipper? Hope you're doing okay. I was thinking I could resurrect the list if anyone wants to add test dates?

Londonjam · 20/02/2017 08:44

Ikea-ing *

Flashinthepan · 20/02/2017 09:13

Gaelach I'm due Sunday/Monday I think, so going to test Sunday morning if no sign of AF. Although out for dinner Friday, so may do a cheapie on Friday morning, to see if I can definitely not have a glass of wine.

Could you put me down for the 11th please jam Grin

Pyjamas81 · 20/02/2017 09:36

I'm the 11th March as well jam Smile AF due a few days before, but I'm waiting until definitely late and prefer to test on weekends.

Kathrino · 20/02/2017 09:40

DH seems to have recovered now, thanks for asking Binky. He's claiming it was a 'virus' and not stress. I hope there's nothing untoward in your blood results too and the quick appointment is just the NHS being v efficient.

Harriet, we have an ikea kitchen albeit with a non-ikea work surface and I love it. Our builder recommended them when we re-did ours a couple of years ago and it's been great. It looks way more expensive that it is too.

Glad you're feeling better pyjamas although it always seems such a waste to be feeling rubbish at the weekend. I hope this week speeds past so you can enjoy another weekend!

Good luck to all our TWW-ers! This will be the month you all get your BFPs!

Thanks for the list Jam. I'm a little worried that I have ovulated earlier than expected so may not make it to 9 March but we shall see!

Flashinthepan · 20/02/2017 09:42

Thanks Jam, could you change me to 26th February?

Your TWW plan sounds exactly like how mine has gone, half way through and HS once, exercised pretty much every day. I'm defnitely more relaxed this cycle. Although last night I had a dream where I POAS at 4 dpo and got two super strong pink lines. It felt so real that when I woke up I was so disappointed that it wasn't true.

Miranda234 · 20/02/2017 10:23

Please could you put me down for 17th March Jam - feels so far away!!

Aw flash it's hard when you have dreams like that. I had a dream last week I had a baby and was holding it then I woke up and AF appeared that morning!

I'm trying to be more relaxed this cycle, no temping or opks. Had a bit of a panic last week as we're over the 6 month mark now which I've found tough but we will get there Smile

Good luck to you all in the tww!
