January bus anyone?

Thought I'd start the January bus, anyone else hoping for their BFP to welcome in the new year?
My stats are -
Age 23
TTC #2
CD 10
Cycle -- hard to put a number on, been trying a year but have had two losses, 5w and 12w so not sure where to count from.

Well after over a week of spotting, AF has finally showed up.

I'm getting a test today. If these are pg symptoms I'm sure the hormone levels would be high enough. ..

Ovaries- According to ovia app the hormones don't show until 12 days past ovulation. I've had a dull ache all morning, feels exactly like AF but nothing here yet.
I refuse to POAS and waste more money getting a BFN. My AF isn't due until 2nd so I figure I'm just gonna wait it out. X

So sorry 2Ducks- Onto the next cycle, a fresh start, I just want my AF to show now so I can get my head into the next cycle.

AF is waving a fleeting goodbye today, so now I'm in full FW prep mode... no more binging on booze and chocolate, lots of healthy food, fresh air and temperature taking (not forgetting the obligatory OPKs).

According to the semi useless Ovia my FW starts on 6th... which would be awesome as neither of us are working that weekend and will be able to get a head start as I do find after work is a struggle at times... enthusiasm for DTD is low after a day in the office

Another BFN FRER this morning. Now the Christmas bloating has subsided I have nothing that could even be faintly described as a symptom, so I think I'm out for this month! Fx for next time...

Think I'm in FW... will have to corral DH later! He is working but I have time off. Our sleeping patterns are not overlapping at the moment.

My OPK's are all light positives and Ovia is telling me as of today I'm no longer in my FW so I'm guessing I've ov'd within the last few days. I'm going to count today as 1DPO I think. So officially in my 2ww. Must try and be patient!

I think I'm going to test tomorrow if Af stays away.....argh! I am at my mums without dh but with dd1 and dd2. I just need to know before nye. I had cramps on Tuesday but nothing yesterday. I am due on Saturday so I might get a sensitive test and do it in the morning. ... last chance saloon for 2016 conception!!

I am finding this a bit overwhelming! I'm reading everything I can and trying to figure it out but at the moment I feel too stupid to conceive!
I've started taking folic acid and I've bought a clearblue opk.
I finished my pill packet nearly a week ago - I was on the combined pill so I guess as far as my body's concerned this could still be my usual 7 day break! I haven't had my usual break bleed yet let alone withdrawal bleed/AF so I have no idea where I am in my cycle or when I should start trying properly.
I guess I know I really need to wait until a bleed happens and my body starts doing something but I'm desperate to get cracking!
We've been postponing it for a while just due to life hecticness, but now it's go time and I just want to go!

My entire life since my teens has been spent trying not to get pregnant, and now it's the other way around I feel a bit lost!

Feeling a little disheartened today. My FW started on 25/12 and my peak day is today. Managed to DTD 25/12 and today, my plan was to DTD every other day during FW but unfortunately DH got too drunk on 27/12 and couldn't finish the job. FX Ovia is right and today should be my peak day! The 2ww begins!

I'm now coming into my FW and I'm on CD10 and think I ovulate on CD14. Do you ladies dtd every other day or every day?

I fell pregnant with every other day first time. Have done every day last few cycles and zilch has happened so think I may switch back to every other. Something to do with giving aperm to replenish its numbers and get back upto full count. Thoughts?

When is af due kraken? I'm still trying to symptom spot. The only thing I have noticed so far is my nipples are darker than normal. Not sure if that is anything. Had a few drinks yesterday with friends so going to take it easy over the next few days just in case. The tww is hard work over xmas!

Kirsty AF is due between 1st-3rd Jan, it varies slightly, which I guess makes ovulation prediction tricker too. But we didn't manage much shagging this month due to flu/colds/family visits etc - average only about twice a week! And didn't use OPKs or anything. So I've decided to treat this month as a practice run. From now on we will have eyes on the prize

I'm a bit sensitive about it though because (mentioned further upthread) I did get pg years ago by accident (after one night, a split condom AND taking the morning after pill - aaargh, why is it so easy sometimes and so hard when people actually want it?) so I don't know if that means it'll be easy this time or if that was just a total fluke.

Nipple colour change sounds promising, that's not something I'd thought to look out for!

It seems the more you want it the harder it is. I think a lot of it is down to timing. People that get pregnant without even trying properly must be really lucky!

Hi Lucylugosi welcome! We are v similar, I'm only a few days behind you, took my last pill on Xmas Eve to ttc #1. I'm on my withdrawl bleed which came pretty quick, it usually did when I took the 7 day break anyway.

For me this month is all about hoping my cycle gets back on track and learning how long it actually is. If I have an actual 28 day cycle, my first proper period in a loooong long time will be 25 Jan - my 30th birthday I'm 'practising' tracking by considering myself on CD3 and putting the data into Ovia to keep myself occupied :) Think I'll stay away from temping and OPK's for now, will pick them up in the Spring if I need too.

Hope you get a bleed soon to start tracking your cycle properly! Fx and GL!

Can't help but symptom spot. Nauseous and Tender boobs. Could be af though.. why do the symptoms have to be the same

Hi supper and lucy, seems like the 3 of us are in similar positions. I'm 29 and first month TTC no1 and like Lucy I feel strange that I've tried to prevent pregnancy my whole life and now just want it to happen instantly...highly unlikely I know but fx for everyone

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been mia-been on holiday and then Christmas...

AF arrived for me today about 4 days early but that means I'm due her again on Jan 28th. So still clinging on to hope for a January BFP!

Baby also hating that early Oregon symptoms are so similar to onset of AF! I was kind of convinced I was prefigured until I knew I wasn't! 

Anna I've heard dtd less only matters if DP has sperm issues, but have also seen so many BFPs recently where they said that they weren't dtd as often that I'm wondering if there's something in it...

It's a really crazy feeling to go from preventing to trying, feels wrong somehow doesn't it?

I have AF due on Jan 1st and again on Jan 28th so technically I've got two shots at a Jan BFP too.

Ovia makes me feel even crazier somehow with all its weird tips. Today it's "eat garlic", apparently

Totally Kraken, it's hard now wanting it so badly. It seems everywhere I turn someone else is having a surprise baby and yet the folk that are trying so hard can't get the bfp they are so desperate for

Is ovia an app? I've downloaded fertility friend but have no regular cycles due to just having nexplanon removed that it all seems a bit pointless just now!
