January bus anyone?

Thought I'd start the January bus, anyone else hoping for their BFP to welcome in the new year?
My stats are -
Age 23
TTC #2
CD 10
Cycle -- hard to put a number on, been trying a year but have had two losses, 5w and 12w so not sure where to count from.

Bertie, I'm so concerned about the age gap too! I'm worried it's going to take me years to conceive again and my DD will be in high school. I've always wanted a closer gap between my children but I guess that ship has sailed. My DD has a different dad also. Fingers crossed for you :)

Thank you ns, sorry to hear about your endometriosis. I know in the back of my mind that I might end up needing help to get pregnant. It's possible to get pregnant with scar tissue but depending on its severity and where it is, it's common to miscarry due to an embryo being unable to properly implant. There's surgery I can have to cut out the scar tissue so I'll have to wait and see. Lots of luck to you

I've just tested again about 20 minutes ago with an OPK and it's negative, I can barely even see a test line. Does that mean that I most likely ovulated yesterday? I got positives 2 days on the run and also cramps and ovary pain and today the cramps have gone. These are my last 3 tests...

2 of my tests from the last two days compared to the one from today. So ovulation has already happened..?

We are planning not to use contraception after we get pregnant so that we get two close in age, hopefully it won't be too small a gap! I breastfed last time so would like to breastfeed again. But having had such a big one I think too small would be better than too big. IMO. We'd probably stop trying if it went past 3.5 years and just accept that our family will have a big gap. But who knows.

I'll have to take a look at the thread :) my DD says she doesn't want me to have another baby but I think that's because she's been an only child for so long lol

I don't think this will be my month. I didn't realise that BD'ing AFTER your LH surge was what you were supposed to do. We DTD just before and during the surge but OH is back in work now so we didn't have sex last night or today when I got a negative OPK (he works nights) so I think I've missed my chance after all my efforts :(

When should I test??? I'm due af on 8th jan according to my tracker but I think I ovulated early on cd11 not on cd 14. Could I test early?? This 2ww is killing me!!

I would definitely try and hold off a little bit longer Flossie. Even if you ovulated early, it's still probably too early to test and you don't want to disappoint yourself too soon.

Bubble- I didn't DTD after I got my possible positive OPK as my OH got man fiu! We only did it leading up to my ovulation and I still got a BFP so don't write yourself off xx

Flossie my af is due on the 7th but I too think I ovulated early, cd8 I had lots of ewcm and ov pains, now on cd17 and have achey boobs and nausea. Probably psychosomatic though as I know it's too early really! Reckon I'll prob test 3 or 4th Jan unless af gets me first!

Congratulations Amz! I'm hoping to test around 7th January if AF hasn't made an appearance first! This will be my first month on the bus so not expecting a BFP and trying not to get my hopes up but it would be lovely

Sorry bubble I didn't see your post before! Yes first cycle 😁 I only came off the pill on the 1st.. I haven't had a withdrawal bleed or anything!! How long have you been TTC? X X

Wow that's pretty lucky, Amz! I'm on my first cycle, CD15 as of today. I had a withdrawal bleed about 4 days after I stopped b/c. I bet that was a bit of a shock for you seeing as most people tend to expect having at least a few cycles first! I've conceived quickly twice before but I'm not too optimistic this time around x

AF/BFP due anytime between New years Eve and Jan 2nd!

It Defo was more luck then judgment to be honest bubble!! We are still so shocked and don't think it has sunk in yet, we didn't think it would happen this quick 😀 It was a nice late Xmas present. Are you using OPK? Why are you not so optimistic this time? X

I've been told I might have difficulty conceiving due to scarring on my uterus from a previous PID. I'm using OPK's, I've had two days of positives (and cramping!) but back to negatives now x

I am just waiting for AF to bloody well hurry up! I've been spotting for 5 days (CD18 to CD22). I have a 21 to 24 day cycle normally, but don't usually spot for this long so just hoping nothing is wrong and AF will be here in the next 48 hours.

I took a test (CB digital) which confirmed not pregnant so it's quite frustrating waiting for AF to arrive, especially when I thought she would have done by now.

Ovaries I'm the same as you. Both on expected AF dates and symptoms combined with BFN certainty!

I have ordered a rather luxurious range of different things to piss on for the next while though - OPKs and FRERs. POAS addiction is a serious affliction, folks

Ovaries I'm with you too, same expected AF date, cycles are slightly longer for me, 33-36 days, used ov kit and got positive on CD18 we DTD CD14,16,18,19 so I'm about ten day post ov now. Woke up with horrid cramps this morning and had them again tonight!
Caved in a did a PG test - BFN as expected! I know it's too early to tell, but couldn't resist! Here to BFP's soon. FX for all x x

I'm ?3-5dpo and my boobs are sore and I'm really tired. I'm trying to tell myself rhat it's not possible to have symptoms this early and it's just wishful thinking. It's going to be a long couple of weeks!
