Welcome Tigger Smile

Minime you're a few days ahead of me I think, I'm sure I will be the same with the symptom spotting. We must remember that none of it means anything - until we get that positive pee stick!!

If you could memorise that last sentence and repeat it to me as often as necessary over the next 2 weeks I'd be very grateful.
Grin

JeNeBaguetteRien · 17/11/2016 20:45

mini me I had a really noticeable metallic taste in my mouth a few months ago and started to get excited... but it was from eye drops of all things!

MrsG280516 · 17/11/2016 21:05

Well I've had an unexpected positive OPK tonight on CD10, luckily although DH is on nights we managed to DTD before he went off to work! With any luck we should be able to DTD the next two nights too.

I think mine might be from a filling that's loose Grin not expecting a bfp as much as it'd be lovely. I'm realistic as I know too many people who are having trouble ttc so I can't imagine I'll be so lucky Sad

Jellybabie3 · 18/11/2016 06:42

MrsG thats a really strong OPK. Goodluck!!

StephyJane · 18/11/2016 06:54

There'll be no testing for me this weekend, woke up to AF Sad

Tigger I would totally love to have twins!

Fingers crossed this is everyone's month!

JB1983 · 18/11/2016 07:46

That sucks stephy. Fx for cycle number 2 x

Tigger83 · 18/11/2016 09:15

I know twins would be mega exciting but petrifying at the same time!! When I had my scan the woman was like paparazzi as apparently it's really rare to catch multiple egg release. She got very excited and started asking about family history and when I said my mum was a twin she got quite serious and said I would have to prepare for the fact it could be a possibility lol. Who knows. Think I'll just focus on trying to make one baby first lol

MrsCummings · 18/11/2016 09:16

StephyJane hope you get an amazing xmas result instead!

MrsCummings · 18/11/2016 10:25

Tigger I'd totally faint at twins and would probably have Jedward related nightmares but they must be such fun too!

DrRBannerx · 18/11/2016 10:26

Got myself a very positive okp today, annoying oh is not back from work until later! (5-6pm) but then its on! I won't miss the best time for it will I?

Cd6 here, I should finally start testing in about 2 days or so. Not sure what I hate more, the tww or this time before my fw. At least tww is exciting. This is just bleh.

FlaminFlamingo99 · 18/11/2016 13:04

MrsG and DrRBanner glad u got ur positive OPks, and I'm sure tonight will be fine DrRBanner Wink

Tigger I have always said I love the idea of having twins, I am sure it is unbelievably hard work at times but you get a 2for1 on labour so that's gotta be a huge positive!! If you had twins, would you leave it at 2 children or would you want another pregnancy after that? You could end up with more twins!! 😀

Oggy I sympathise - to be honest I find that whatever part of my cycle I'm in I get frustrated and impatient. I guess whatever part of the cycle you are in you are just looking forward to the next part all the time in the hopes it'll get you closer to the BFP!
Let's hope this is a lucky thread - come on people!!

Oggy88 · 18/11/2016 13:29

Yes!!! All I want for Christmas is EWCM, please! Amazing what ttc does to our heads... had I said this somewhere else, I'd be institutionalised Grin

Carlotta82248 · 18/11/2016 13:31

AF today, right on cue! Feel sad which is silly as I knew! Only cycle 3 but I feel really blue about it all :( x

bluesdetoi · 18/11/2016 13:37

Jumping on the December bus tentatively. I'm not due to get AF until Monday, but I haven't really been experiencing any symptoms of pregnancy, so I feel like November might be a dud.

If I do get AF, I'm be due for testing December 20th Smile

Sorry the cow got you, Carlotta Flowers

Some months are just so much harder than others, aren't they? Try and think of it as a fresh start as your body is working hard to prepare a cozy home for a little sticky bean. And if all fails, at least you can have some WineChocolate

Flutterby89 · 18/11/2016 14:15

Hi Gracie17, im with you on the starting to worry about how long its taking to conceive DC2! I conceived DD1 first cycle, on cycle 5 now - not exactly a long time in the grand scheme of things but still worrying isnt it. But then again I was totally stress free and eating well when we started trying for DD1 Grin, I am trying to get back to that stage, Pah!

Sorry to hear about your MC Flowers

Carlotta82248 · 18/11/2016 14:34

I need to start watching my diet I think, I'm fairly overweight and comfort eating a lot at present, work is also stressful so could do without that, urgh, so much to beat yourself up about with it isn't there?!

Oggy88 · 18/11/2016 15:37

Don't beat yourself up, hun. These things normally take time. Of course it is always good to take up sports and eat healthier, stop drinking (yeah, right!) and not stressing about anything, but that'd be living in a bubble!

I am exactly the same stress wise, but recently took up yoga and, even though I'm absolutely rubbish at it, it definitely helped reduce it. I like to think that there is no need for a radical change, but that all the little things we do to make it happen add up Smile

Tinkerbell2319 · 18/11/2016 20:03

I've been trying since July and starting to worry too :/

Do we feel like this is positive or not quite yet? Confused it's the darkest I've had so far am CD13

December Bus (all I want for Christmas is... a baby!)
MrsG280516 · 18/11/2016 20:16

That's almost there but a little while off yet Tinkerbell it needs to at least match the control line. CD13 isn't late though, you still have plenty off time.

Okay Thanks :) hopefully heading in the right direction then over the next few days

Never mind 2WW, starting to think that TTC is more like repeated cycles of 4WW lol
