ttcnovice I had lots of cramps this cycle, but can't pinpoint any particular time it could have been implantation, and I never had implantation bleeding so I don't know... Cramps during my cycle is quite a normal thing for me and I couldn't say it was any different this time to any other cycles in the past Confused it's a shame we don't have a little florescent light somewhere that goes PINGPREGNANT and then we would just KNOW!!

Carlotta your festively plump boobs comment made me laugh!! Well done holding off testing again too quickly, when do you think you might test again? Fx for you xx

Writer you are a crafty devil! I hope you keep it secret until Xmas and I'll bet his face will be an absolute picture! Grin

ThirdThoughts you are right, you are not out yet! Fx for you. When do you think you will test if AF doesn't arrive?

kskfred like Mrs G said, bleeding and mild cramps can be very common in early pregnancy. When is/was AF due? Hugs xx

Emma88 welcome to the thread Smile

Dixiechick it's difficult to know really, it's entirely possible you have ovulated later than usual, are you going to keep testing over next few days? Also is this the first time OPks have got darker this cycle?

Good luck all

flaming - I have absolutely no idea what his reaction will be Grin H a going to think I'm playing a joke on him!!!

Carlotta82248 · 11/12/2016 22:11

Flamin well I'm all out of ICs, I won't think about how many that means I've used haha. I'm working tomorrow and will set off before the shops open so will grab some on way home and then try to wait until FMU on Tuesday but no doubt one might sneak in tomorrow night haha. I've even thought about trying the 24hr garage in the morning, what a crazy lady! Felt positive this morning but not so tonight x

Writerwannabe83 · 11/12/2016 22:17

Definitely go to the 24 hour garage Grin

Carlotta82248 · 11/12/2016 22:20

Do you think they will sell them? I'd be absolutely useless at work if I got a bfp haha, I might try though, wonder if they get many people at 6.15am looking for them?!?! X

Writerwannabe83 · 11/12/2016 22:25

Do you have a 24 hour Tesco or ASDA nearby?

ThirdThoughts · 11/12/2016 22:26

FlamingFlamingo Congrats on your result. I'm not sure when I'll test. I keep imagining my twinges that could be my period starting so I want to give it at least a few days. But I suppose the longer I leave it, the more likely I'll be to have a positive, and it gives me some plausibility in denial of keeping this a bit of a secret for a couple of weeks Grin

I have that smug peaceful contentment that they talk about when they talk about pregnancy in 101 dalmations (live action version) I don't know if its because somewhere I know I'm pregnant, or if it just the idea of the possibity and me keeping quiet about it. :)

But I've been convinced I am pregnant before and been wrong so who knows!

ThirdThoughts · 11/12/2016 22:38

But I know there is a low chance, so I although I'm enjoying the possibility, I'm also getting on with things and not relying on it.

Carlotta82248 · 11/12/2016 22:45

Writer, yes about two seconds away but it'll be shut in morning as it's Sunday x

Writerwannabe83 · 11/12/2016 22:49

It's Monday tomorrow.....

Carlotta82248 · 11/12/2016 22:52

Doesn't re open til 8am Confused

Writerwannabe83 · 11/12/2016 22:54

Really??? Stupid shops!!!!

Writerwannabe83 · 11/12/2016 22:57

I'm going to take my other FRER in the morning and see if the line has darkened as it will have been 48 hours since I last tested with one.

I'm supposed to be having a job interview tomorrow for a promotion (to be one of the ward Sisters) but I'm going to phone in the morning and pull out. I had a very risky pregnancy with DS and it's taken me 10 months of trying to get this BFP so I would be really stupid to jeopardise anything by going for a much more stressful job. If I see a nice strong line in the morning to indicate things are progressing as they should then I will feel much more justified in my decision.

ThirdThoughts · 11/12/2016 23:08

We've been trying for a year (and not not trying for longer) but I got serious about charting a few months ago when I was getting fitter, losing weight and my cycles came down from 50 days to 34.

Cycle 1: Ovulated approx CD 20-22 Cycle length 34
Cycle 2: Positive OPKs CD22-23 Cycle length 35
Cycle 3: Positive OPK CD18, currently on CD34 (I thought it was 35 because the app had been predicting my period from yesterday)

So there's hope there, but perhaps not as strong a possibility as when I thought I was already a day over. But that early opk+ has me thinking the cycle could have been as short as 30-32 days. But I haven't been charting long enough to know if my luteal phase is pretty constant.

Carlotta82248 · 11/12/2016 23:09

Absolutely Writer, shifts and stress are plentiful enough at work without adding to it, you need to focus on keeping well. Is it something that's likely to reoccur? (Tell me to mind my own, I don't want to overstep) x

Writerwannabe83 · 11/12/2016 23:15

I have epilepsy and a history of SVT so have been on beta blockers in the past but came off them to have DS.

I got signed off sick at 14 weeks during DS's pregnancy because my heart started playing up again: palpitations, missed beats etc and they said they wanted me on complete rest otherwise they'd have to start me back on beta blockers again which can affect the growth of the baby (as I'm sure you know)

When I was 20 weeks my epilepsy drug levels dropped so I had to have my medication increased and due to me still having cardiac symptoms I had to restart my beta blockers anyway.

When my midwife said she wanted me on complete rest and got me signed off sick I was practically doing an office job so I imagine this time around things may be potentially worse for me seeing as I now do 13 hour shifts of never being off my feet Sad

Carlotta82248 · 11/12/2016 23:15

Good luck Third sounds promising xxxx

Carlotta82248 · 11/12/2016 23:18

Writer, sounds like you're doing the right thing, do you think work would let you do non clinical/lighter duties once they knew? Fingers crossed for a lovely dark frer in morning, big love x

Kskifred · 12/12/2016 06:28

oh fx you have a lovely strong bfp this morning.

My af pain is pretty intense this time but i seem to be in medium flow this am. I'm writing this month off now but will test later i. the week to just check but if my bfp is still faint or gone I will know what's happened.

And it's Monday, eurgh! Not in the mood for a smiley face on reception today!

Carlotta82248 · 12/12/2016 06:35

Kskifred sending you love and hugs, I have backache this morning which is a pms sign for me. Hope your day passes by quickly and that you can get home and cosy later, look after yourself x

Writerwannabe83 · 12/12/2016 06:45

kski - I'm really sorry you're going through this, it's awful to have your hopes dashed Sad I really hope everything turns out to be ok. How is your DH/DP feeling about it all? Flowers

I did my second FR and what a difference 48 hours can make. On Saturdays test it took ages for the line to appear, I would probably say a good 5+ minutes whereas this mornings line appeared in about 15 seconds. I really feel hopeful now. My Manager is in at about 7.30am so I will call her straight away to cancel my interview.

It's Sod's Law, it really is. I've been waiting about 8 months for a promotion chance, I've been revising and studying for weeks, I've not long bought a lovely new interview outfit and it's all come to nothing Grin

BertieBotts · 12/12/2016 06:46

kski not meaning to alarm you, but if you're having more painful AF than normal and have had a positive test you really need to contact the early pregnancy unit of your local hospital, as those are possible signs of ectopic pg. It's most likely either just normal but alarming pg bleeding or a chemical pregnancy, but best to be safe than sorry.

BertieBotts · 12/12/2016 06:49

Writer, don't cancel! Why not go for it anyway?

Writerwannabe83 · 12/12/2016 07:05

bertie - because I had a complicated pregnancy with DS due to having two health conditions and the reality is that I will have the same problems this time round too and so putting myself in a much more stressful job role would probably make things even worse for me. I was signed off sick at 14 weeks with DS for the entire duration of my pregnancy and the same may be needed this time too (worst case scenario) so I don't think it's fair to my other colleagues who are also interviewing to potentially take it away from them and then me not even be there to do the job.

lynseyc83 · 12/12/2016 07:31

Tested - BFN initially but then after 5 mins possibly positive
