Thought I'd start the December bus, who's on the naughty list this year?

Couldn't agree more, Tinkerbell!

Gracie17 · 18/11/2016 21:03

Hi Flutterby89 ( sorry don't know how to do the tagging thing, how do you do that?)
So true about being much more relaxed/stress free and healthy pre DD1!!
I guess these things just take time. My sister in law took a year with both of hers. Patience is a virtue I guess...really really hope so anyway.
Thanks for the flowers x

MouseLove · 18/11/2016 21:09

I'm sure I replied here but looks like I didn't. The OPK is lovely today. Nice and strong. I'm happy I might ovulate this cycle. That's good news. I'm in Rome, it's beautiful!! I wouldn't know if I ovulated though as everything is aching right now! Haha. Grin

Sorry to Stephy and Carlotta that AF got you...Xmas BFPs for all!

Bows85 · 18/11/2016 21:56

Gracie - just change the font to bold in the text box to tag someone (at least that's all I've been doing!)

Mouse - so exciting that you got that result in Rome. Romantic!

I did my first OPK today just to see how it worked, really. Got a fairly faint line which was to be expected, but pleased there was something there!

Carlotta82248 · 18/11/2016 22:01

I can't decide whether to get some of these little sticks (have been using a clear blue smiley jobby) or to stick to my absolute no type of POAS resolution this month! Have so far spent well over 100 quid on things to pee on!

MouseLove · 19/11/2016 06:43

Oh my Carlotta yes I think you need to go on a complete POAS ban for a while. £100 in 2 cycles???? Wow. It could be a very expensive experience for you. Cheap OPK are around £4 for 30 from eBay. That's all I've spent.

Oggy88 · 19/11/2016 07:35

Mouse is right. I went through something similar this last cycle. I had a faint bof (either early mc, or just a faulty batch) and it's very easy to just go on poas frenzy. This can add up very quickly. Got tons of ICs (hpt) for £3-£4 off eBay, that'll keep me busy until I get a bpf (fx!). Only at that point will I verify it with something more reliable.

Carlotta82248 · 19/11/2016 08:09

Mouse 3 cycles, does that make it better?!?! Haha, 2 clear blue ovulation kits was already 50 then a small obsession with early pregnancy tests occurred, after a poss false positive (evap lines) I bought a fair few too. I've been at home on annual leave this week so been around some good friends and my Mam so been able to chat it through with them so think I'll hopefully be able to take a more relaxed approach this month. My personality is a bit obsessive though and I've suffered with bad anxiety in the past so it's hard for me to not get a bit OTT xx

charley2016 · 19/11/2016 10:16

I feel for all of our purses Shock think I'll get some internet cheap ones this month too. Looks like the witch got me today so firmly on the December bus. Seems my cycles are settling a little at least as that's a 28 day then 27 day. So next due date probably around 17/12

Carlotta82248 · 19/11/2016 10:45

Charley nearly same time as me! I'll be 15th, fingers crossed for us x

Ah and TTC no1

charley2016 · 19/11/2016 10:56

Yeh fingers crossed carlotta! Im not sure if the wait for ovulation or the wait for the period is more annoying haha!!

Carlotta82248 · 19/11/2016 11:11

Charley I'm just thinking of every other day once AF finishes and avoiding testing this month xx

charley2016 · 19/11/2016 11:53

That was always my thought too... But at present DH has to leave for college at 8am and doesn't get in from work until 11pm Sad

minime2016 · 19/11/2016 12:09

Arghhhh hate the 2ww! Sadcurrently 6/7dpo and symptom free. Complained of sore hips and bones to dh this morning and his eyebrows went up-he's as bad at symptom spotting as I am Grin

catlover1987 · 19/11/2016 17:03

I'm also in the 2 week wait with no symptoms so far. Not feeling optimistic Confused

Carlotta82248 · 19/11/2016 17:19

Charley it is a nightmare for us too as I work random shifts so I can see my plan failing!

Girls in 2ww I'm sending you all of the luck, it's the longest time! AF is often a relief at the end of all the stressing I find x

Londonexhile · 19/11/2016 17:23

Had my strongest OPK today, what do you think? Def positive? Bottom is Thursday, then Friday and top at 10am this morning!

Started off the week well & DTD Mon, Tues & Weds but had to work late Thurs & DH was out on Fri! Managed to this morning & will tomorrow as well so FX!

Do I carry on with OPKs now or just leave it? First time using them!!

Hi, I was wondering if anyone's dh has tried Wellman Conception vitamins?

Mine isn't too keen (he doesn't think they'll make any difference) but I've read reviews that they're good. I'm thinking anything we can do which may help is worth it.

Carlotta82248 · 19/11/2016 18:21

StephyJane my OH took 4 out of the pack last month, I'll be standing over him this month while he takes them, useless creature haha Wink

Another month I think the Christmas dream is fading away!

MrsG280516 · 19/11/2016 18:28

London I normally do one or two after the surge to see when it comes back down. Gives me a good indication of when I ovulated as I usually have two days of positives. Get DTD!!

Stephy my DH had the Wellman Conception vits last month, they are good because they have more than enough of everything they need. It's really important for men to have enough vit C and zinc for good healthy sperm, plus folic acid for the same reason as women.

I've switched him to just a regular A-Z multivitamin now with an extra supplement of zinc and vitamin C. Only because the Wellman is quite expensive!
