minime i would go for it whenever you can to be honest! If you did it yesterday that's pretty good so technically you can leave it until tomorrow but the more the merrier (!) right?

Writer do take a break if you need to, but it's not Iver until AF arrives. I tested on day after due, and two days later and both BFNs... Five days later only then did I get a positive. You are not out yet xx

I'm out as well. AF put in another disgustingly early appearance this month. Not sure whether to try again next cycle, or have a few weeks off (and drink all the lovely festive alcohol). Decisions, decisions...

On the subject of DTD, does it matter how often? Would every other day be better to give time for stocks to replenish or should we just go all out and flood the egg?!

They reckon 48 hours between times because there is a theory that sperm produced in less than 48 hours isn't as good quality... but it was debunked except if your partner has sperm mobility issues. Then it's a good idea to let them build up some strength apparently.

You won't lose out by doing it less often. As long as you get it once or twice in the fertile week it's enough. Do whatever feels right!

I'm using opk this cycle. I'm on CD 9 and will start using them from CD 14 onwards as I tend to ovulate a bit late. Planning to do it every other day from now as I'm entering fw now and then on the day of positive ovulation and day after. Phew!

I am close to the end of my fertile week, I can't help but feeling doubtful though. I do not want to get my hopes up but DP birthday is new years eve so I would love to tell him I am pregnant then.

not sure when I ovulated didnt use opks this time- just listened to my body (which im now doubting)
I think it was the 6th or 7th.. dtd on 3rd, 4th and 5th..
ive had cramps continuosly for the last 2 months (seeing ultrasound on 15th) but today felt sick and have heartburn.
thought i wouldnt think about it, but ttc and the waiting is driving me mad...
so nice to see other peoples stories

Am on CD13 and about to start FW soon. And fx it's looking like me and dh will both be well enough to DTD in FW this month - a miracle! Hope I haven't tempted fate there. Bit worried DH won't want to TTC #2 soon as he wants to leave his job to go freelance and will worry about the uncertainty...anyone been in a similar situation?

I know yesterday I posted to say I knew I was out this month following another negative IC and how was going to take a break from the buses but now I'm in a quandary.

I woke up this morning and my boobs felt a bit heavier so I thought I would give a HPT one last shot but then realised I had ran out of ICs. I know we aren't supposed to use OPKs for pregnancy testing but look at the result I got - it's really strong considering my period is due today/tomorrow.

When I was pregnant with my DS I got my first "BFP" on an OPK the day my period was due when I'd had 4 days of IC HPT all being negative.

I don't know what to do?

Maybe my body didn't ovulate this month when it was supposed to and is having another shot at it and I don't want to get my hopes up but I don't know whether to go and buy a pregnancy test just in case?

It would be Sod's Law seeing as last night due to feeling low about another failed cycle I had two large glasses of wine!!

I woke up in the middle of the night crying with a nightmare- ive heard vivid dreams are a good sign?
can i be having so many symptoms this early? 5/6dpo

Oh god writer that's so spooky! CONGRATS!!! Hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months!

The lines are really faint though so I'm not convinced. I've also just been for a wee and there's some brown/orange blood in my underwear and I'm feeling really crampy. After my miscarriage earlier this year I'm not letting myself get too excited.

I will take some photos of my squinters and you can see what you think....

Got my FX for a sticky bean writer I've had cramps almost every day since my BFP so try not to worry. Spotting is also normal so I really hope it goes okay for you.

writer that's a definite positive! Congratulations! How many dpo are you? Don't worry about the slight blood. My friend had bright red bleeding the day she had a BFP and was due af and had her DS. So excited for you x

I'm not sure how many dpo I am as I don't Temp so don't actually know when I ovulated but I'm guessing, based on my OPKs, that I ovulated on November 29th making me about 11dpo?

A few things over the last week have made me think I could be pregnant but I really, really wasn't expecting a BFP this morning!!
