I'm keeping my boobs well away from DH as I don't want him realising they look different and clicking that I'm pregnant

Last night I started moaning about my pretend period cramps and then this morning I left a box of tampons on top of the toilet so he will genuinely think I'm on my period

Did an opk and looked exactly like your one from yesterday Writer! Feeling really hopeful Trying not to feel hopeful x

I dont really know my cds yet as i came off pill in October. Took 21days til bleed. Af still not arrived yet but cramps are feeling nasty. I know im being ridiculus because im newly off pill but still feeling disappointed. I know im not out til she arrives though . I had similar cramps cd17-18 and nothing happened but now i wonder if that was ovulation?

So with one DTD this cycle, which cd did you DTD writer? And which cd do you think you ovulated?!

I got my positive OPKs on CD19 and CD20 and we had DTD on CD19

LOL Writer do you have a special way of telling him planned?

Well I'm working Christmas Day between 1-8pm so we are doing all the present opening in the morning before I leave so what I'm going to do is come home from work and tell him I've got one more present for him and give him a nicely wrapped box with a positive pregnancy test in it

Absolutely!!!! I've been fantasising about it for ages and so I'm very, very excited about actually being able to do it

AF was due yesterday and hasn't arrived yet. I'm enjoying the possibility of maybe being pregnant (and hoping I can plan a nice festive surprise for DH a la Writer) and after a long period trying to concieve DC1, and long cycles I've no wish to see a negative test so I'm going to leave it a bit longer to test.

Reasons to be hopeful:
I ovulated a little earlier this month so was expecting my period to be a few days early, not late.
We did DTD during my fertile window

Reasons to be realistic:
We only DTD once in FW
Although my last few cycles have been ok 34/35 days prior to that they were 50 days so it could just be a longer cycle
Period may just be delayed due to me being really busy this past week or so.

I'm still hoping :)

I'm in the same boat thirdthoughts- going to test tomorrrow if still no sign of AF
Getting some cramping though so not hopeful

It'll definitely be a Daddy Christmas card to tell my OH if I get my bfp x

i have had a rollercoaster day - after the squintiest line on a test last night i got a bfp this morning, faint but there. Af due today and most of the day i've been passing small clots, watery bright red blood and bad abdo pain. Not mega heavy but the pain feels like it will be soon enough. Boobs very sore today though, i don't normally have sensitive ones. Feeling pretty sorry for myself and not wanting to be hopeful as would rather face the upset at home away from work so prepared for it being a no go. Bloody sucks.

Got my FX for you kskifred, hopefully things will be okay, spotting and cramps are common in early pregnancy.

Cycle 1 - first proper cycle of ttc since having the mirena taken out last month. I had a one day period after it was removed, then 1 day short of 3 weeks later, AF arrived today. So I guess next AF due, working on that, would be 31/12/16.
Very excited!

CD36 here, 99% certain from temp and opks etc that I'm 3dpo... mix of optimistic because if so then DTD was timed perfectly and being fed up as it feels like I've been in the "2WW" for a lifetime but still got a while to go so trying my best to be patient, hoping for more December bus BFPs

Really hope things just settle down but can understand how you must be feeling kskifred thinking of you. Keeping everything crossed for everyone still on the bus xxx

Posted a thread about this but I thought this thread might know more!
I'm currently on CD25.
So this month I didn't opk because husband was away for most of the month blah blah. Think we only DTD once around the middle of the month.
Anyway yesterday when I was eating the taste of the cutlery in my mouth was making me feel ill, really strong metal taste. Husband couldn't taste anything. So I thought I'll just try an opk today to see what happens and it was pretty dark (either almost positive or a day past being positive) just wondering is it common to ovulate really late or for the opk to come up very dark close to the end of a cycle? AF isn't due until next Sunday. So just hoping that my cycle isn't royally fudged up (going away after Christmas and id times it perfectly, darn you AF!)

Just catching up here.... writer !!! So happy for you! It has really spurred me on. I am now cd5 and going to start dtd as much as Xmas parties allow overy the next 2 weeks. X
