Congratulations MrsG! What fab news!

How long was it measuring at the previous heart rate, Basset? That seems like a big change so I'm wondering if it's a malfunction.

bassetmum · 30/11/2016 13:52

Ive had the unit since September. I'm also worried that it could be my bp again as I went through a couple of years of an erratic bp (I think was linked to my dad's diagnosis etc) so don't want to have to go through another 24hr bp monitor. Either that or my lack of sleeping properly has impacted it. Will ignore the google of early pregnancy increased heart rate.

Sounds like your going for it this month hells. I've got some opks for this month.

Thanks ladies! I'm so thrilled. Fx for some more BFPs before Christmas!

Seahawk80 · 30/11/2016 14:31

Amazing news! Congrats wanting and MrsG welcome to the world of trying to hide it over the festive season Grin

lisasimpsonsbff · 30/11/2016 14:47

I'm sure no need to panic basset but I do think you should maybe mention to GP if you think those numbers are right and you have a history of high blood pressure, etc. - that is a big increase, isn't it? But I'm no expert (I'm very much not that kind of doctor!) so feel free to ignore this advice!

Pyjamas81 · 30/11/2016 15:21

Eeeeeeep congrats on the BFPs!! Very exciting!!

Got first flashing smiley face today (CD10) which hopefully means am on track to ovulate at normal time. DH out tonight, so we'll have to dtd tomorrow!

In other news - I had my weigh in today at personal training - have lost 13lbs in a month - hurrah!

Eva30 · 30/11/2016 15:42

hellsbells what do you think of pre seed? I'm a big fan

pjs 13lb that's amazing!!! It's my weigh in tonight at slimming world and I think it'lol be a gain, I've been really naughty this week Blush I was up to 5lb loss before today...
good luck for FW

HellsBellsK · 30/11/2016 15:57

Amazing pj well done!

Eva this will be the first time trying it - I have heard a lot of positive reviews about it though.

Blissfulignorance · 30/11/2016 16:40

Well done pjs what a lovely achievement!

Also think of getting preseed for next cycle so a few reviews would be helpful. Spent the day with my pregnant friend today. Was really good to see her but I'm sure I've actually turned green. I'm now baking shortbread to make myself feel better, no weight loss over here Blush

LisaSimpsonsbff · 30/11/2016 16:46

13lbs in a month is really impressive, pjs!

Pyjamas81 · 30/11/2016 18:32

Thanks guys!!

We use Preseed - obviously haven't got a BFP yet, but I'm a fan of it in general! Great thing to have when you fundamentally can't be arsed with dtd and things aren't happening naturally!

Kirstyinnorway · 30/11/2016 19:03

basset early pregnancy symptoms were what immediately popped into my head! But yes - agree that mentioning to the doc's won't harm.

Which CB OPK did you get Hells? Pink or purple? I have pink (cheaper version) and don't get on with it, but I think it's just me and my need for additional info.

Yay pjs, thank goodness someone is ovulating Confused FX for a good DTD session for you tomorrow Grin and YAYAYAY for your 13lb loss! That's amazing!

Eva I have conception plus, no one else on this thread seems to like it, but I do! It's a lifesaver for when I'm not massively in the mood.

bliss I also spent the day with a friend who got pregnant - in fact, it was from a one-night stand, while on birth control. She guessed I was TTC when I wasn't drinking at a party last month and today I was dodging excess caffeine... She spent quite a while trying to convince me that I should keep drinking and not do anything special because she got pregnant so quickly. Sigh.

Charactarantula · 30/11/2016 19:32

Congratulations to everyone today! Please could you all sparkle your magic BFP dust over me today!

After inputting CF data in Ovia, apparently I should expect a BFP soon. It's got my hopes up now. FX for everyone else.

JeNeBaguetteRien · 30/11/2016 20:06

Wonderful news Wanting and Mrs G*. So pleased for you both; hope you don't feel too delicate.

Think I will order some preseed but don't want it delivered to work. Would the package squeeze through a standard letterbox? (Not like I'm planning on buying an industrial size vat! )

JeNeBaguetteRien · 30/11/2016 20:08

Kirsty I may even try conception plus so you're not on your own with that!😉

HellsBellsK · 30/11/2016 20:11

Mine came in a large envelop JeN so say it would.

I got 2 - hopefully I will just need the one though!

HellsBellsK · 30/11/2016 21:18

Sorry Kirsty I am just using the smiley face one at the moment.
I do have the purple one in my amazon basket but think I will wait till the new year if I don't get BFP.

Kirstyinnorway · 01/12/2016 06:38

tarantula that's great! My CF tells me nothing - I get one day of EWCM a few days before ov (a changing number of days!) and that's it. FX for you!

baguette my conception plus came in a very small package and they'd helpfully labelled it "batteries" on the export form so it was very discreet! I think people done get on with it because it's quite watery, but as long as you put a decent squidge on (lovely) it's fine Blush

hells that one does work just fine, but it literally just lets you know the 48 hours when you peak and it would be interesting to me to know when I'm "gearing up"!

Buuuuut... Today I got my peak ov! ** Deeeeelighted, lots of DTD in the next 24 hours before I leave DH for the weekend and let's really hope I get an early birthday present this month!

LisaSimpsonsbff · 01/12/2016 06:49

Was really tempted to POAS this morning... However, I've realised that I don't think I even can test early. You know all the 'squinters' that people put up from, say, 10 dpo (which is where I am now)? I can never see them! To me all the tests where everyone agrees it's positive, the OP later posts that she is indeed pregnant and has had stronger results now... Almost all those tests look completely negative to me! So I think I'll have to hang on for AF...

LisaSimpsonsbff · 01/12/2016 06:52

Oh yay on smiley face, Kirsty - if you're going to ov tomorrow then looks like you're going to have plenty of swimmers lying in wait!

Seahawk80 · 01/12/2016 07:56

Ha ha Lisa I'm the same - I'm always like there's nothing there on those squinters!

MouseLove · 01/12/2016 08:18

Lisa just a few more days. It will be all worth it in the end. Nothing to report here, waiting for AF to bugger off. DH already has made his intention clear he wants to jump me as soon as he can. Might be a great "trying" cycle lol. CD4 today.

Kirstyinnorway · 01/12/2016 08:29

Good idea to wait a bit longer lisa, you don't want to be disappointed unnecessarily. Only an eternity 4 more days to go before testing with reasonable certainty that you'll get the real result.

And yep - hopefully there's loads d swimmers waiting to catch my egg... DH has been a trooper. He joked this morning with all the DTD it'd better be triplets (imagine) Shock

Laughing at your DH wanting to jump you the minute AF leaves mouse! Love his enthusiasm!

LisaSimpsonsbff · 01/12/2016 08:45

You're all right and very sensible! Anyway, today's FMU is, well, flushed, so that temptation is gone anyway!

LisaSimpsonsbff · 01/12/2016 08:52

Seriously, though - what is the trick with those squinters?! Am I looking for the wrong thing?! Do I need new glasses?!
