Oh boo to AF Eva Sad - make sure you treat yourself today. But great to see you're looking at the positives and that you're cycle is now regular - how many days is that then and how long is your luteal phase?

Sorry to hear that mouse - hope you're out of limbo soon.

FF tells me that if we conceived this month we'd have a 4th July baby - shame we're not American ha ha. I'm really hoping not to be pregnant over the summer as I detest summer (I know, I know, but I just do), but it will be what it will be!

bassetmum · 16/10/2016 11:18

Oh no boo to af showing up Eva. Treat yourself to some chocolate and a glass of wine.

Mouse you must have some fantastic patience hopefully you find out soon whether af will make an appearance.

Mojitos sounds like you are holding up well. Fx for a sticky bean. Do you think you'll feel better when you get over the next few days?

Pjs if we caught this month my edd would be the 9th so we aren't too far apart with our cycles

Managed to dtd this morning as well so thats every other day since Wednesday. Fx we covered all bases this month. Although if we did catch this month 12 weeks will be Christmas day which would make for some fun Christmas gifts for family and friends.

I don't really know what the hell im doing. Going to wait a week and maybe POAS next weekend if AF still hasn't showed her ugly face!! Hmm

HellsBellsK · 16/10/2016 11:49

Morning girls,

flora hope you had a great night out.
mouse that sounds positive hopefully AF will stay away.

I haven't started temping yet said I will wait till January - trying to be relaxed as possible. But don't know how long it will last Hmm

Told my mom we are TTC we are very close - I have no sisters so just wanted to chat to someone. She was very reassuring etc told me about her history and having my brothers and myself.
Still having a tiny bit of blood when I wipe not all the time but every once in awhile. If it keeps up I will go to the doctor.
Think I could of had ovulation pains yesterday - also my lower back is sore kinda like the way I feel before AF but thats not due until the 29th.

Hope you all have a lovely Sunday!

Heatherbaby · 16/10/2016 13:19

Morning everyone

Been reading all your updates. As it's cycle 1 I've decided to skip temping and go straight to opks as they are supposed to be more accurate and give you a 24-48 'warning' so you can time dtd just right Wink

I use an app caller mycalendar and have been recording my af dates for over a year. It predicted a positive opk today and I took one to confirm it... annoyingly me and dh just had a little falling out as he would dtd before he had to go out and I accused him on not taking this seriously... oops ! Hope my stubborness wears off by tonight!

Mouse don't know how you have avoided poas! I'd be curious by now... although if your cycle is still erratic I can see you you'd want to wait a few days!

MoonlightMojitos · 16/10/2016 13:48

pj I remember us having this chat before about not wanting summer babies lol. I have decided there is a plus though - being able to hide a growing massively bloated belly in massive jumpers until you're ready to annouce? That's about the only one though haha.

basset thanks! Yes I think I'll definately relax once we've had a scan and know everything is going well. I'm feeling horrendous this time also when I had hardly any symptoms last time so try if to positive :).

mouse I definately would have poas by now! But I agree that first cycles off the pill really mess you up so well done for not yet!

Pyjamas81 · 16/10/2016 14:35

Ha ha - that's true mojitos about being able to hide things better! I love winter clothes - so happy it's that time of year again Smile I was the first person at work to crack out a winter coat!

MouseLove · 16/10/2016 16:36

Afternoon ladies. I'm still AF free lol. Feel like I'm announcing how many days I've been sober hahaha

DH asked if I wanted to go get a stick to pee on. I said nope. I'm determined to wait till next weekend. I think I might be mad.

Been having tummy ache all day. But I've also not had a great time with my toilet activities recently. Maybe I've picked up a bug? Yesterday I was sleepy and today I've had another nap. I'm at the docs on Tuesday about my hips and back. I might mention it if I still haven't seen AF by then (CD33)

MoonlightMojitos · 16/10/2016 16:46

mouse they will tell you to do a test!! Exhaustion, lots of cm, dodgy belly/constipation/diahorrea/bloating/wind are all pg signs! Youre mad to not have done one yet lol

MouseLove · 16/10/2016 18:06

I guess I'm just thinking its not possible this quick. When you list all my problems out like that I think I've got a bug not a baby. Maybe I really am mad haha. Good job the shops are closed Grin This might be a crazy week.

Pyjamas81 · 16/10/2016 18:15

Ah mouse - the first cycle after coming off the pill is so freaking annoying!! Good willpower though!

I just watched that fertility programme that was on the bbc a few weeks ago with DH - I didn't learn too many new things, but I think I hit home with DH that things may not automatically be easy at our age! (I'm 35 and he's 41)

RoseGoldHippie · 16/10/2016 18:35

Hey guys!

Hope you don't mind me jumping in! So following on from being late last month and "really believing" I was experiencing early pregnancy symptoms it turns out I wasn't.

Anyway good luck to everyone! Really hoping for lots of BFP this month! StarFlowers

MouseLove · 16/10/2016 19:21

Welcome back Rosegold sorry it didn't work out last cycle. FX for this being your month!!

Pyjamas81 · 16/10/2016 19:26

Welcome Rose! Gah - I was exactly the same on first cycle - convinced I was pregnant to the point of feeling nauseous! Now on cycle 4 and any symptoms I do get, I assume they're AF symptoms! Or at least I try to...

I'm 5dpo and have a big boozy work night in the diary this week. And it's not just a few drinks - it's a proper session where the event finishes in the wee hours Confused We're all (shamefully) pretty big drinkers when we're all out Blush I need to figure out how to get around that!

RoseGoldHippie · 16/10/2016 19:37

Hi guys!!

Mouse thank you!! Fingers crossed for you too!! Flowers

Pyjamas oh I know that feeling! I'm not a massive drinker but when out on a session am known go to a bit overboard (dr reffered to my drinking only around once a month as 'binge' drinking- apparently you can't save up your weekly units and use them all in one evening! Hahahaha!!!!) any way I have gotten around this by being the designated driver OR just drink Diet Coke and hope no one notices! Good luck 😉

Eva30 · 16/10/2016 20:37

Yeah had a lovely spa weekend so was perfect.
moonlight ahh, in what way feeling horrendous? Sicky? That'll be all the hormones getting ready - definitely a good signSmile
mouse I can't believe you've not tested!!Shock
Hi rose yeah I was convinced on cycle 1 too!! I had forgotten what normal pre-AF symptoms were like after being on the pill for so long, but now on cycle 7 I know what's 'normal' for me.
pjs it was another 30day one. The only anomaly was July when I took pregnacare but it lengthened my cycle and made me feel off so stopped it after 4 weeks. Ooo tricky situation with work drinks, could you not get out of it, say something's come up? God help you when you fall pg and you'll have to avoid drinks for a while Haha!!

First time ttc - thread four
Monkeyandthebear · 16/10/2016 20:48

I didn't test ladies! I just think if I am going to be disappointed best to only be disappointed once when AF arrives and not add a bfn beforehand. AF would be due about Thursday so if nothing by next weekend I will test then. Have a feeling I won't need to.

Pyjamas81 · 16/10/2016 20:54

I have to admit, I am normally a regular drinker (2-4 nights a week), and then we we go out out, the wheels come off! I think I'm just not going to go - annoying, but I have zero willpower. Am going to have to start a new hobby so I don't die of boredom over nine months hahaha.

Eva - good to see it getting more regular!

catlover1987 · 16/10/2016 20:55

Can I join in please? TTC #1
Cycle 3 trying (very early miscarriage in cycle 1)
Age 29
Cycle day 21 ( I think, still trying to get the hang of this!) Smile

florafoxtrot · 16/10/2016 21:05

Welcome newbies! Night out was good fun but drank a bit too quickly so ended up feeling rough this morning. AF tailing off so hoping to get back on the case in the next few days. And the temping commences tomorrow - assuming I remember when I wake up!
Loving your restraint Mouse. I honestly can't decide whether a BFN is worse than the anxiety of "am I, aren't I?"
Can't believe it's Sunday night already!

Blissfulignorance · 16/10/2016 21:13

Mouse af is due for me on 23rd so we can test together. Although I seriously think I'm kidding myself as I have basically lived at work for the last 3 weeks.

Heatherbaby · 16/10/2016 22:06

pyjamas what was the programme called on BBC re fertility? I'm obsessed by all things conception at the moment!

RoseGoldHippie · 16/10/2016 22:17

Pyjamas hahaha! My main vice tonne honest is smoking which I absolutely hate and am so ashamed of! I started as a teen because I thought I was really cool (cool enough now to actually admit this! Haha) Have made a genuine effort to quit and doing okay so far (have had a cheeky one now and then Blush) but I have found I smoke most when bored! I too am with you on the lets find something to keep mind (and hands!) occupied for the next 9 months :) I'm thinking about knitting Hahahaha!!

RoseGoldHippie · 16/10/2016 22:17

**to be not tonne!
