mouse hip/pelvis pain is horrible, you have my sympathy, for numerous reasons mine hurt a lot and it's killer!

basset the teeny amount of steroid in the teeny amount if cream will have a teeny chance of getting into your bloodstream anyway (having mental images of teeny tiny popeye baby....)

monkey and pj's fx for you!

I'm CD2 now after 5 days of spotting from 5dpo which messed with my head... Frustrating! Onto cycle 4 it is!

MouseLove · 19/10/2016 17:42

Pie I'm having bloods done first thing tomorrow to test for arthritis. Sad

I'm feeling so mixed up today. I promised myself I wouldn't test until weekend but now I'm going the other way, not focusing on a possible BFP but just hoping that I'm not having weird cycles/infertile/having problems. Lots of negative things running through my head. It probably doesn't help I was at a funeral yesterday and the docs for my pains. I guess I just wanted this fairytale and I'm probably not going to get it.

Heatherbaby · 19/10/2016 20:26

I'd like to see some BFPs here soon too, I do love a good bfp story! On that note can the pg ladies sticking around here share their stories for us newbies...moonlight how long did u try, what were your very early symptoms and hpt experiences?

I'm cd 19 now, app is back to showing today as medium but think the cm is looking erm...unhospitable nowBlush so guessing this month's chance is now gone. Fx I dtd enough!

mouse I'm sorry you are feeling down about this...it's very difficult to be patient when you want something so much. Think about how you will feel with either result of a hpt and if you feel able to, maybe there is no harm taking it already?

I have had my first symptom of...becoming a psycho symptom spotter. Felt an AF like cramp for a few mins... and googled for half an hour in the middle of preparing for a very important hearing for work tomorrow. Priorities! Grin

Anyone due to test soon... fx xxx

MouseLove · 19/10/2016 21:08

Yeah heather I'd probably get my answer now but I'd rather wait. It's just easier for me to cope with a BFN if I'm not rushing to work. I want to do the test with DH there so Saturday (first wee) is my first opportunity. I could possibly do it on Friday night. But I read first wee is the best??

RoseGoldHippie · 19/10/2016 21:51

Mouse - from what I've heard first wee is best so sat morn will probably be best :)

It is horrid that time of the month because everything possible goes through your head!! Don't worry you got all of us with you too Flowers

MouseLove · 19/10/2016 22:14

Thank you Rosegold that's lovely. And yes, I suppose because I know if I took a test now I'd know straight away it's eating at me. But I'm being realistic. I know it would be a damn miracle if it happened on my first cycle and I'm coming off the pill so I should probably expect weird cycles. Doesn't stop me hoping though. X

Monkeyandthebear · 19/10/2016 22:25

Mouse if it makes you feel better, I am in the same position. Don't think I am pregnant but tomorrow is cd30 and I know that chances are a frer would tell me one way or the other. I am still waiting until the weekend though. I am the same as you, find it easier to deal with a bfn then.

MouseLove · 19/10/2016 23:05

Sending hugs monkey we can be test buddies lol. I honestly didn't think I'd make it to weekend, of course I still have 2 days but nothing has changed to indicate AF is on her way. I've realised that I have a delicate tummy until my evening meal, and then nothing, I'm completely normal. I only eat a small lunch. I'm wondering if I'm just bloody hungry lol.

bassetmum · 20/10/2016 11:54

Oh dear the tww symptom spotting has stated already for me. Even though the logical part of my brain is like you wouldn't have even implanted yet (most likely). At least I can use I'm driving as an excuse for a wedding reception I am going to on Saturday.

Mouse I have to eat and drink almost constantly otherwise I get the shakes, dizziness and headaches. My OH can't understand how my blood sugars can drop so quickly and how I can get dehydrated so quickly. I am still in awe of your patience for still not poas.

Pie hahaha mini popeye made me lol

MouseLove · 20/10/2016 12:36

Hmmm I get the shakes basset Hmm

I've had my bloods taken this morning for my arthritis test. They are also testing me for diabetes, thyroid, bone and other problems. I had a google last night for my low temps ( I'm hitting 35c a lot on ff) ... came up with a thyroid problem. And the symptoms kinda match. So now I'm completely fretting it's something more serious. I almost don't want to take this test on Saturday because I know it won't be a BFP. Sad

Pyjamas81 · 20/10/2016 12:56

Got my first baby bomb today - someone I work with pulled me aside and told me, and I was genuinely happy! Who knows how long they were trying, and I'm so so pleased for them. Hardly anyone I know has babies (despite me being 35), so it's almost like it's made me feel like it's actually possible in a weird way!

9dpo here and still not a single symptom - I don't feel like this is our month. Although friend said she had absolutely no symptoms whatsoever, which gives me hope. My temps are above cover line, but up and down each day and not really rising.

Hope your mind is put at ease soon mouse.

MoonlightMojitos · 20/10/2016 13:07

Ooh pj that's a long old wait til 17dpo! I have everything crossed for you again!

Fx everything is OK mouse, that's good they're testing lots of other things too at the same time. Do you think you will test tomorrow? Fmu only really helps if it's before af is due but as you're waiting for your first still it's a tricky one!

heather I got a BFP cycle3 but had a mc at 6+4 and then this bfp on cycle 3 again. I tested at 9dpo which was insane really, I'd say definately hold out longer next time. The next week felt like forever knowing it was still such early days. I didn't have any symptoms at all so not much help! Symptoms didn't kick in til I was about 5 weeks :).

MoonlightMojitos · 20/10/2016 13:08

Good luck to everyone else testing soon too! There seem to be quite a few in 2ww now!

OHMoll · 20/10/2016 13:19

I am so glad for this thread. Still having the pains but am spotting today. Don't know if it's AF early or what. The waiting if awful.

Mouse hope the tests go OK. Who is thinking of testing this weekend?

HellsBellsK · 20/10/2016 14:04

Just popping in to say a quick hi.
Also in the 2ww now - period is due Saturday week.
At the start I convinced myself I'm pregnant - now I'm nearly sure I'm not. Feel the same, my sore lower back, feeling a bit sick in the morning is actually all normal for me. Expecting my sore boobs and increase in appetite next week like I would normally get before my period also so not going to read into that.
Its our first cycle trying so I think its just the teenager in me saying you had unprotected sex so your now pregnant, sure thats what they teach you in school Grin
Calling over to my friends this Saturday night - suppose to be dinner and wine. No way ill get away with not drinking as they know I love a glass of red. Might have the one and nurse it for the evening.
In the 2ww do you normally not drink?

WantingBaby1 · 20/10/2016 14:16

I'm going on hols during my 2ww so am not going to worry about being totally alcohol free. I won't get drunk but so early on I've been told it won't matter at all - many women have no idea they're pregnant that early on. I certainly wouldn't be drinking once I know I'm pregnant but until then I don't see there is a harm to a glass of wine once in a whlie. A personal choice Hells

HellsBellsK · 20/10/2016 14:44

Thats what I'm thinking also waiting my SIL and friend both found out they where pregnant after a boozy night out a few days before - they thought it was a really bad hangover! Both had great happy heathy babies.
That will be great being on hols during the 2ww - take your mind off it and if your like me all the goggling! x

Heatherbaby · 20/10/2016 14:56

It's funny how I relate to all your stories guys. I'm also in the 2ww but barely that. I Ov'd around Sunday or Monday and every twinge and cm smudge I'm obsessing over. I keep saying to my DH I'm sure these little changes are not normal but then if this was a normal month I probably wouldn't even notice or worry about odd symptoms...arch!

They need to invent a hpt that works within hours! hells I totally relate to what you said about it being the first month with unprotected sex... bloody unrealistic expectations thanks to sex ed!

Heatherbaby · 20/10/2016 15:00

Ps. hells and wanting I read that the baby only starts "taking" from you from 3 weeks pregnant onwards and so its not likely to be risky if you partied the first few weeks. Don't think anything you'd do in the 2ww will effect the bunch of baby to be cells! Xx

WantingBaby1 · 20/10/2016 15:45

OH read the same thing Heatherbaby, so I'm not too worried about moderate drinking in the 2WW.

Monkeyandthebear · 20/10/2016 16:22

TMI ALERT Any thoughts on cm when AF is supposed to be kicking in? I keep thinking that I am starting AF but when I go to the toilet there is watery/creamy cm. Ff actually suggested I was fertile today on cd30. Hmm I often have creamy cm but this is watery too which I don't have!

florafoxtrot · 20/10/2016 16:40

Monkey - I had watery cm before AF last month - but every month seems to be different for me so hopefully its the sign of something good for you!
Drinking is an interesting one - I'm not abstaining during the TWW - people speculate and then its hard to admit that you're not pregnant and in addition - if this is going to take a while then I'm not depriving myself for that long! I have heard that caffeine should be cut back as it can affect implantation - a real struggle for me though - bloody love a latte!!

CD9 here so just waiting for FW - temping is going OK but I seem to be a massively restless sleeper (perhaps why I need all the lattes!) so my temperature is pretty erratic and will be interested to see if I get a significant spike at some point to let me pinpoint ovulation! Not sure whether the information will be of that much value until I've got a few months logged to be honest.
This month seems like a drag already!

MouseLove · 20/10/2016 16:40

Monkey I had the same thing last week!!!!! I would have been CD29 - still no AF now at CD35.

Blissfulignorance · 20/10/2016 17:32

Dropping in, AF due Saturday did an ic this morning bfn. Not surprised as I think we dtd twice in my fw.

So I handed in my notice at work (yey) then started to tell my colleagues who immediately assumed I was pregnant (not yey) then one of the pg ones came running over with her 12 week scan pic (Sad)

So I'm going out on Saturday and drinking a lot and eating at least 20 chicken nuggets at a silly time in the morning.

Feeling really shitty about TTC. 5 pg women surrounding me all caught quickly or unexpectedly and I'm about to start cycle 4 which I know isn't long but at 27 I though I'd find this pretty easy. DH and I are both healthy, ideal bmi not smokers rarely drink alot and I haven't taken any contraception in 4 years. Why is this so hard for me?! I'm starting to convince myself I'm baron.

Rant over.

florafoxtrot · 20/10/2016 18:25

I'm with you blissful. A wee bit older but really quite healthy and not been on BC for years - and on cycle 4. Some days feels like it'll never happen and it's all I can think about - others I feel positive and like it'll happen when it's meant to and we just need to be patient - still absolutely sucks though and nice to come on here for a rant as pretty sure hubby thinks I am mental.
I've decided that a lot of people are maybe not entirely honest about how long it takes - from mumsnet and others I just don't think it happens that quickly but people like to make out like they just sneezed and got up the duff - not sure what their reasons would be but I'm going to be honest with others if it ever does happen for us.
You never know, you're not out until AF shows and might just be too early for a BFP - but if not your weekend plans sound amazeballs. Try and keep your head up - or keep ranting if it helps. We are all here to listen and commiserate!
