We've had a bit of a bfp success streak so let's continue that on into thread 5!!

Well af has shown her face today - on the day my withdrawal bleed would have been if I was still on my pill, very strange!! At least I will have one full pill free cycle under my belt.

Talking to my OH yesterday we've decided to just play it by ear this month and see where we go with it. we will need to re-discuss the options in november if we dont catch in october as the due date would be my OH sisters wedding. That could become tricky lol

Differing bedtimes is an issue for me too. I'm normally ready for bed at 9.30 haha. Although we did have the discussion about whether to monitor temps/opk or anything this month and my OH says we should just play it by ear and see how we go. I agree with that I think. Its just whether or not we can dtd enough

Hi ladies I haven't posted in a while. I came off the pill in December last year and it took 113 days to get my first period / withdrawal bleed and then I had a 27 day cycle and then 23 days and then nothing. I had done pregnancy tests but they were negative. I did a pregnancy test on Thursday, no idea why, and it was positive. Scan on Friday shows I'm 10 weeks 3 days!! Which means that must have been about a 52 day cycle (ovulated around beginning of August). So another positive story! Bean was very active and thankfully I haven't missed all the screening but missed the worrying first trimester stage. Good luck everyone x

It has been quiet lately, and I don't like it when it's quiet as I like to keep up to date with everyone's news . But I must admit I have been quiet too the last few days. Waiting for af to go away so we can enjoy ttc again 😋xx

I'm on cd9, no idea how long my cycle will be this month, last month was 52 days... I'm at the boring waiting for ov stage at the mo, so nothing report from me!

What an amazing story tiny, you must be over the moon!
All quiet here, will be testing next wed/Thur as long as AF doesn't arrive. AF due next Friday and I'm off for a girly weekend at center Parcs which could be interesting if there's a BFP beforehand - no wine and no water slides! Unlikely I know but I'm already trying to think of an excuse as to why I can't do either!

SevenOfNine it was the same last time I came off the pill so I expected it. The hardest one one was the last cycle which I just gave up on. I even got highs earlier in the month on the digital ovulation tester but stopped after several highs. On checking back on my diary I had noticed EWCM so for me at least some of the month this is a good sign! Good luck!

Omg Tiny and Seven. I want to cry at how long it took you after coming off the pill. Seven, massive hugs. I'm going crazy and today is day 17. I'm feeling like crap. Had pretty much constant cramps since finishing too.

Wow tiny congratulations! Good to hear another positive story. When you said you'd tested but there was nothing, how many Dpo did you do your last pg test? Just wondering.

Lol looby, you will just have to say you've done something to your back so are on strong painkillers! That'll cover the drink and the slide! Fx for you you get a chance to use it!

PurpleViola, I last tested on CD32 and seemingly conceived CD38. I probably should have tested again but just didn't see the point. I was sure it wasn't going to happen and didn't want to see another negative!

Looby I only found out at 10 weeks and 4 days so there was a lot of wine consumed and plenty of water slides on our all inclusive holiday in Turkey! I must admit I probably wouldn't have chanced the slides if I'd known and definitely the booze. Fingers crossed for you x

Hi all, sorry I missed the end of thread 4 and have only just managed to catch up. HUGE congratulations to bobo!! I'm so happy for you. How are the others from the original thread? Johno? Cookie? Any one hear from first? Hi to all the more recent posters too.

I'm still ticking along nicely. Nearly 31 weeks now. Loving the pregnancy despite the aches and worries (waiting for a fetal medicine appointment as baby has an abdominal cyst that needs further investigation/diagnosis.. And an episode of threatened pre term labour that was very painful but has thankfully settled now, and accidentally ate goats cheese this week so that's my newest worry!!!) I don't take any of it for granted, I know how lucky I am to be here. Hang in there ladies. I had a measly 4 or 5 cycles in 9 months so I know how frustrating those post pill cycles are, but you will get there! Xxx

Hi everyone, I've just joined and im looking for a bit of help / advice. So apologies first if I have TMI, first month TTC. Il start by saying I've been on BC the last 10 yrs. Every month without fail at day 15 I got cramps (ovulation like), I thought I must be crazy cause the pill should stop ovulation. So I went off my bc, pill, start of the month. I bought a digital OPK and sure enough up pops the smiley on day 13, & 14. (have I really been ovulating all these years?) so DTD on day 11 (x2), 12 & 14. Now bearing in mind I've been on the pill for so long. But my nipples have been sore since 2 DPO. Im on 6DPO now and my breasts and nips are so painful and heavy. I've to hold them walking the stairs. What are my chances that I could preggo from those dates. Really hoping for a smooth run.

Oh also just to add, last nite I woke 3 times throughout the night to pee. I never ever wake to pee. And yesterday & today I'm struggling to stay awake. Keep nodding off, I never nap either. I dont know if it's all from going off bc or if I have got lucky

Feeling hopeful - welcome! It's hard to say really as symptoms from coming off of pill can be exactly the same as preggo symptoms. Fx you are one of the lucky ones that catch straight away tho!

Thanks LuciBee. I dont know what is worse, the dreaded two week wait, or it being my first month off BC and not knowing what my body is like off it so I'm reading into every little thing that im feeling. Gonna wait until I'm 9dpo to test.

I'm still waiting for my urgent gyno appointment, It's been 3 weeks since my gp appointment & 13 weeks since my m/c which is slightly concerning!!

Thanks Mouselove. Im still trying to figure out the ovulation pains I have been getting all these years. Like using a digital OPK this month they were right on time. And I was positive. If I don't get there this month we already have planned for 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and day of ovulation next month. Although here is for wishful hoping for a BFP at the end of this week.

Hope your cycle doesn't last too much longer MouseLove my last pill is tomorrow and will usually get my breakthrough bleed Friday-Monday so not sure whether to class that as CD1 or not. I have bought OPK's and a thermometer ready to get tracking even though I know things probably won't be predictable for a few months. FX for everyone!
