We've had a bit of a bfp success streak so let's continue that on into thread 5!!

MrsG, you could be one of the people who do get pregnant very quickly, or you may end up taking longer. Impossible to know which camp you'll fall into! I would book holidays as planned, then make sure your insurance would cover cancellation in the event of a due date clash 😊

Had some spotting and cramps this morning, so onto cycle 6 I go! Have promised myself a glass of wine (or two...) this weekend to make it all better 🍷🍫🍻

MrsG I would absolutely come off the pill now!! Use condoms in the meantime and start tracking your cycles so you can avoid dtd in the fertile week. There is nothing worse than being ready to ttc, stopping the pill and having to wait for your period! Myself and some of the other ladies were waiting for over two months for that first af 😩 As long as you're safe you will be fine and even if your cycles go beach yo normal it still gives your ovaries time to adjust 😄

Ladies waiting for af - if this is cycle 1/2 did you track ovulation and definitely ov? If you're not sure you might not have ov'd yet or it could have been later! Remember in the first cycles off the pill your body is a mess and you might be having a longer cycle. I know it's frustrating but try to focus on something else as you will drive yourselves mad testing when there's no chance you
could be pg yet 😊 You'll get your bfps eventually don't worry

Bobo I don't track ovulation, I just use an app to track my cycle. I should have started cycle 3 on Monday. First cycle was 28 days exactly and came on/off exactly when the app predicted , this cycle is ongoing so who knows.

Might be worth tracking your body instead. Apps are good for inputting data and as a record but don't trust everything they say 😊 Especially that minx Ovia! Also my lovely your cycles still might change length. Mine were anything between 29-37 and then last one was 59 days!! But if I tracked ov I knew af would arrive 12 days later so it's more accurate 😊 You might be a lucky one and settle into a routine straight away but I just think it's important to remember that this soon after the pill anything is possible! We've all been there and it does suck but you will be out of limbo soon enough 😊 Xxx

I think I did ovulate this month judging by the symptoms I had approx 16 days ago. I had a couple of days of ewcm and wet mucus, libido was through the roof and then I had what I can only describe as ovulation pain. It was less than 5 mins of a really sharp pain in my pelvis on one side.

Managed to find a frer. Was the last box in boots. Going to try weeing in a cup and dip testing rather than poas in the morning. I have been going for a wee like a mad woman today so who knows whats going on.

Good luck Basset. Don't mean to be a pessimist BUT.... I had loads of ov signs two weeks after my pill withdrawal bleed. Then I had loads of pg signs two weeks after that. Was convinced I was preggers. Started testing bfn, few days later bfn, a week later bfn. Now on CD 76, still waiting for AF, all symptoms gone! Do test every week/two just in case but just thought I'd warn you not to get your hopes up yet. Post pill is a dickhead!! 😁 fingers crossed for you though that af or bfp comes soon!!!!! Xxxxxxx

Thanks for the replies ladies! I am going to come off the pill on Tuesday when my pack finishes and will wait for a proper AF before tracking anything and not expect anything until a few months! If we get pg before that then it's just a bonus good luck to everyone testing soon!

Bobo I know you are right. I really didn't want to track ovulation properly as worried I'd get obsessed by it. I don't mind if af arrives this month (although I would love to have a bfp) but I'd rather an answer than limbo land. Is the only way to track Ov the temperature graph etc that people talk about on here? 59 days is crazy! How many cycles did you have until your bfp?

Seven I am not getting my hopes up at all. I know post pill is a complete minefield. I havent really felt a need to poas. It will totally depend on how I feel this weekend if I do or don't and obviously won't if af does show up. I still think its amazing how all through your teens you are told all it takes is one time and you'll be pregnant.

I'm STILL waiting for my 'urgent' gyno appointment to check on retained products from my m/c. I stopped taking Agnus castus, but the bleeding is still on and off so I literally have no idea what's going on!!
Going to a party tomorrow night so going to poas in the morning as I plan on drinking. I don't think there is any possibility of getting a bfp but just wanted to make sure beforehand.

Kaisha you don't have to temp, you can get cheap opks on amazon and then just use those around when you think you ov/if you get symptoms 😊 It's not too stressful and satisfies the poas urge 😂
I had 7 cycles over 11 months so long wait but really not that many tries I guess (especially if I wasn't ov'ing properly as I suspect) hopefully none of you will be waiting that long 😊

HighHopes that is ridiculous!! I think it might be time to kick up a fuss and cause some drama! There's a risk to your fertility and it needs addressing asap! Go tell that gp to sort it out 😠 Enjoy your party ☺️ X

Can anyone offer me any advice on ovia and temping. Ovia thinks my fertile window ended a couple of days ago, which judging by ewcm would be about right. But I've had no ride in bbt so far, which is confusing me. It could mean I haven't ov'd this month but surely I wouldn't have had the ewcm and slight ovulation pains like I did? I'm just a bit confused!

Looby. The body and mind is a mysterious thing. Trust nothing lol. In all honesty there's no real answer. I'm new to TTC and for the last 2 weeks I've had the weirdest pains, aches, AF symptoms ever. And still no AF. Our bodies are bitches and our minds are jokers. Sorry there's not a perfect answer for your question. Xxx

Thanks mouse, I've had a slight rise in bbt this morning so I think I was just being a bit impatient! Into the 2ww I go!

No af today but I have the most heightened sense of smell I have ever had. Not sure this is related to anything but it's so odd for me, and annoying. I don't want to be smelling the water that fresh flowers sit in (that for some reason smells like old gunky flower water) from the other end of the house downstairs. Urgh. Dh can't smell any of the things I can unless he goes up really close. My hormones must be going crazy still.

This thread has gone a bit quiet last few days, how is everyone? Who's next to test? I need some more BFPs to join me and bobo! Where is johno, wasn't she due to test this weekend?

kaisha I second bobo that they still might go a bit haywire yet (but fx for you they dont). My cycles were 29days, 28, 26 then 23 so I might have missed ov the last 2 shorter ones if I went by my app.

Hi Moonlight - I'm now 7 days late and on day 32 with no sign of af. Last month was 25 days, the month before was 25 days (last pill influenced cycle). I decided against testing again today as I'm clearly just on a long cycle post-pill. I want af to come just so I can get on with it now.

I think most people are either waiting for af or waiting for ov so nothing to report 😣

I have been looking at the pregnancy forum but doesn't seem much happens over there. How about you? Are you booked in to see the gp/midwife yet? Xx

I did test. It was a bfn. Currently nursing a hormonal headache for the second day and feeling crampy today so fx af will show up today but who knows.

I went to the gym this morning. I've put on 4lbs this week. That's just not normal for me and I am sooooo bloated. I'm putting 3lbs of that down on water and the other 1lbs on the cake I ate on Friday. FML
