Keeping my fingers crossed for you, I'm going to try temping mainly because I don't want to be peeing on sticks all the time. So I'm hoping it helps get my cycles in order.

How long are you off your BC? Feelinghopeful

MouseLove · 03/10/2016 13:52

MrsG thank you Hun, yeah I'm hoping AF turns up sooner rather than later. And if not. I'll POAS at the end of October.

It's really good that you're finishing a pack, it helps your body with regulating. The bleeds you have on the pill are not real periods but more withdrawal bleeds. But I would count that as the start of a cycle.

On another note. I just watched an unrelated video and they mentioned that you're not meant to wear tight socks!!!! Anything around the ankle in Chinese medicine and manipulation effects the ovaries!! You bet I pulled my socks up!

MrsG280516 · 03/10/2016 13:59

Haha I have tights on today so no issues there!

Yeah I will count that as CD1 and see how it goes. I've been on BC since before I was 16 and I'm nearly 25 now so over 9 years continuously. Can't even remember what my cycles were like before the pill!

MouseLove · 03/10/2016 17:06

I was the same MrsG I was on the pill for 12 years. I'm getting some horrible symptoms now I've finished. Hopefully your youth will serve you better than me hahaha. Wink

Kaisha02 · 04/10/2016 07:11

Day 34 and still no af.. I promise not to keep a running commentary every day. I am such an impatient person, this is driving me up the wall.

MouseLove · 04/10/2016 08:17

Kaisha don't worry, we all understand. I'd be climbing the walls too. Jeeze I'm going mad and today is day 19 for me. Sending lots of CakeChocolate to keep your mind off it. X

LuciBee231015 · 04/10/2016 08:38

I'm going to start opks today to see if I can catch my ov. Hoping that the agnus castus I reducing my cycle and I will ov soon, I'm on cd11 today. I ov'd on cd38 last cycle tho so I may need to buy some more!

MouseLove · 04/10/2016 08:40

Luci, I started temping today. Thought it would be less stressful than OPKS. Time will tell I suppose lol

HighHopes16 · 04/10/2016 14:56

Ladies I'm so upset and don't know what to do! Sad

As you know I've been waiting on this urgent Gyno appointment to see if I have retained products from my m/c in July. The Dr said it was a risk of infection & scar tissue which could effect my fertility in the future.

I've been chasing my GP and have just been told that the hospital it was sent to have assessed my notes and decided its not urgent, so have put me on the routine waiting list. GP says on average that's 18 weeks..FEB 2017!!

In the meantime, I can't be referred to Endo to discuss the treatment of my PCOS until I've got the all clear from Gyno. so basically I can't TTC until Feb at the earliest and if I do get a BFP it's likely I'll miscarry again as my pcos is untreated and that increases the risk by 40%!

so my dream of a 2017 is basically out of the window........ Sad

MrsG280516 · 04/10/2016 15:11

That sounds awful HighHopes I don't really have experience of any Drs appointments/procedures but is there a route you can go down to get a second referral or to complain? They really should have let you know sooner that they decided it wasn't urgent!

HighHopes16 · 04/10/2016 15:28

That was meant to say 2017 Baby

Well I almost cried on the phone and said that the Dr told me I was high risk of infection hence why I needed an urgent appointment but she said even if they refer it as urgent the hospital still have to assess it themselves and they've decided its routine. Sad

Kaisha02 · 04/10/2016 16:41

Oh no, sorry to hear that! Is it possible to go private?

LuciBee231015 · 04/10/2016 16:52

Highhopes so sorry love. What bastards!!

HighHopes16 · 04/10/2016 18:33

That was my first thought, but after googling it seems we can't afford to go private.

Seven0fNine · 04/10/2016 18:41

Oh no highhopes that is awful. Sending lots of love! xxx

BoBo90 · 04/10/2016 19:49

Yay Sunny it’s lovely to hear from you!! Glad your still ticking along nicely and hope baby sunny’s cyst isn’t anything to worry about Smile Not long left now!! You must be getting so excited (in between the worries Wink)

HighHopes my love that is awful treatment by the hospital/gp! I would be fuming. How can they possibly decide what needs to be done from just your notes. I would absolutely keep looking into private scan clinics my love! You should be able to get a fertility assessment type scan for reasonable money. If It shows anything dodgy you can go back to your gp, wave the scan in their face and tell them they need to investigate now or you will consider them to be negligent.

I have my gp appointment on Thursday to tell them I no longer need blood tests because I’m upduffed and hopefully find out how to be referred to the midwife Grin I think it might feel a bit more real then and give me a date in the diary to look forward to! Moonlight have you seen the gp/midwife yet?

Fx those in limbo get some answers soon and those in the tww get bfps!! Grin

highhopes that really is awful. I agree that you definately need to kick up a fuss. I would write a letter and demand a second opinion or a scan. That's really nor fair at all after what you've already been through to expect you to now put everything on hold and be worrying for months more until you start to get answers. I think bobo has the right idea if you can find somewhere that will do a general scan and then go back to gp with the results.

bobo I went and picked my pack up from the midwives today. Have my booking appointment on 31st. My pack has a pot for wee sample, loads of information booklets and a questionnaire with 4 million questions about me, dp and our families medical history! And what screening I want done (downs and such). Have to take it all back with me to the booking appointment.

kaisha don't worry at all about daily updates, that's what we're all here for!

LuciBee231015 · 04/10/2016 20:15

I'm on cd11 today and have had a bit of pink cm then on to brown later in the afternoon. Then when I got home had ewcm with little bit of brown in it (sorry for the details!)

I'm just a bit confused as to what it is? Had a slight ache on the right side this morning... I thought maybe ov, but got a negative opk twice this evening. CONFUSED!

LuciBee231015 · 04/10/2016 20:16

Good luck with your appointment on Thursday, look fw to hearing how it went.

Moonlight, I didn't realise you had to decide about screening and all that so early on. In fact I didn't think about that at all... Get caught up in all this ttc business you kind of forget about the pregnant part!

MoonlightMojitos · 04/10/2016 20:43

luci oh yes, all the creeping questions and also... where I want to give birth! Have to choose a hospital before booking appointment when I will be 8 1/2 weeks yet they don't do showarounds until you're 12 weeks Hmm it's silly really.

MoonlightMojitos · 04/10/2016 20:45

Also maybe ewcm is a sign you will ov later on in the week and the gearing up in there is just sort of clearing out a bit of the old stuff? It's all very confusing isn't it.

MrsG280516 · 05/10/2016 10:17

Well I'm finished with my pills now and expecting a withdrawal bleed on Friday. I've got some OPKs coming in the post today or tomorrow, but no idea when I might ovulate, could anyone recommend when to start using the OPKs? I'm counting the first day of my withdrawal bleed as CD1.

LuciBee231015 · 05/10/2016 10:39

MrsG, I counted my withdrawal bleed as cd1. My first cycle off the pill was 53 days or something like that and I ovulated around cd38. I started getting ewcm quite a bit so decided to try out the opks and I was right as they came up positive. I didn't start doing them from the beginning of my cycle, I would have run out rather quickly!

MrsG280516 · 05/10/2016 10:49

Ahh right, yeah I've only ordered 30 OPKs to start with so don't want to run out too quickly! I'm going to try temping too so hopefully that will help to pinpoint ovulation.

How's everyone else getting on? I'm waiting to see some more BFPs Grin
