Hi Tommy temping is a pain but I think it's worth it, especially since they might ask you to do it if you get blood test - might as well get a head start! xx

LuciBee231015 · 31/10/2016 06:33

I'm 5+2 today. I've haven't been too bad actually. My boobs have been really sore and have grown quite a bit, and have been quite tired. I also get the odd dull cramp here and there and usually on my left side, usually notice it when I've been moving around a lot. Saturday I woke up and felt like I had been out on the town until the early hours, felt nauseous, banging headache and ridiculously tired, but yesterday back to the usual.

High hopes you should join the July 2017 ante natal group.

Fingers crossed AC works for you Tommy!

Tommygirl10 · 31/10/2016 07:04

Aw that's good to know. Thank you for the heads up Tata I will have a look tonight x

HighHopes16 · 31/10/2016 09:28

I'm going to wait until I find out far along I am for sure before joining any groups. Cause if I'm 6 weeks I could be due in June and if I'm 5 weeks I would be due in July!
I feel sick today!!

Seven0fNine · 31/10/2016 10:05

Oh highhopes I love that the "clear blue" test has totally confused you!
It's so nice to hear how all you preggos are getting on.

For me (if I was having a normal cycle), I would be in the middle of my fertile window according to ovia but haven't felt any signs that it's happening. Think I will start OPKing after next AF.

However, I don't reaaaally want to get pregnant this month because it would mean taking mat leave in the summer holiday (I'm a teacher...kind of) and that just seems like a waste...
I'm also worrying about our having a baby situation as I won't be able to take lots of time off when they arrive. We are planning that DH will be stay at home dad because he doesn't work much and I earn a decent wage although not sure how I will cope with that when it comes. Hoping that I'll be able to take 3 months off but mind you if my cycles keep going this way - I may be able to save a lot more! haha!

I'm desperate for a family - totally broody and it is the perfect time for us as a couple but maybe not ideal financially...
Sorry for long post - just been playing on my mind.

MouseLove · 31/10/2016 11:21

So I went for my blood results meeting this morning.

Symptoms are joint pain, lower back and pelvis pain, stiffness, loss of mobility. Lost 2 stone this year with exercise and good diet.

Results came back, rheumatoid arthritis was negative. I'm on the edge of anaemia but it was in the normal range. Inflammatory levels were very high & I have an over-active thyroid - which actually shocked me as I don't have any of the signs. They've referred me to a specialist though as I may have an auto-immune problem or an inflammatory type of arthritis.

So I have to wait for my specialist appointment to come through, I mentioned fertility and he wasn't concerned. So no real answers but positives to take from it.

tatatetelle · 31/10/2016 16:22

Mouse sorry you got mixed results, but at least it's encouraging none of what they found doesn't impacts fertility. When are you seeing the specialist?

Seven why don't you do a few opks this week to double check? I hear you about timing, it used to really play on my mind too but I've realised there won't ever be such a thing as perfect timing so we might as well go for it now!

MouseLove · 31/10/2016 19:28

Will see when the appointment comes through tata. Good ole NHS lol

MoonlightMojitos · 31/10/2016 21:19

Had an early scan today ladies, pic attached, dated me at 9+1 and all was good with baby so looks like I am now venturing full time in to the pregnancy section and away from the ttc threads (eek!). I'll still check in occasionally but wish you all the best of luck on your journeys and fx for your BFPs soon. I found these groups such a massive help, support and great for having a rant after af and baby bombs etc and finding out what's normal in the ttc madness so thank you all so much to those who were there on my way!

😍😍😍 love the pic moonlight. All the best with your pregnancy ❤️

HighHopes16 · 01/11/2016 06:10

Oh wow moonlight - lovely little scan pic!! Hope to see you in the preggo section soon! Smile How did your booking appt go?

looby1304 · 01/11/2016 06:46

seven I completely understand the timing thing, I'm also a teacher and a september baby would be preferable to a July one to make the most of mat leave. But if I'm honest, I'm not going to be fussy!

Seven0fNine · 01/11/2016 07:32

Wow Moonlight so pleased for you. Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well xx

clared55 · 01/11/2016 09:05

Hi everyone, I'm quite new to this but hope you don't mind me joining the thread

Age: 30
Ttc #1
Cycle 1
Cd who knows!

I came off Loestrin 30 in mid July and apart from one random bit of spotting have seen nothing since so not entirely sure where in my cycle I am at the moment! Was trying to hold off TTC until my cycle was 'back to normal' - but not sure when that will be!

tatatetelle · 01/11/2016 10:41

Oh look at that little cutie Moonlight!! All the best on the rest of your pregnancy Flowers

Mouse I hear you! Fingers x they don't keep you waiting too long though!

Welcome to the madness Clare Grin

HighHopes16 · 01/11/2016 15:35

Well I called my GP today to say I was pregnant but that I had no idea how far along I am hoping they'd offer to give me blood test/ultrasound but they said the earliest midwife apt they had available was 23/11 so I'll be somewhere between 8 and 10 weeks pregnant by then! eeek.

Kaisha02 · 01/11/2016 17:06

I'm on cd26 now and af was due yesterday but no sign other than horrendous cramps the day before. I really thought she was coming! Now I think it was ovulation and I'm in for another long cycle. Not sure why I would randomly cramp for a day nor do I want to waste money on more tests. Last month it was lots of bfn and a 36 day cycle. We were supposed to be casually trying without tracking ovulation but maybe that's the way to do it..

LuciBee231015 · 01/11/2016 18:36

HighHopes they won't see you until 8-10 weeks anyway so that fits in perfectly! How are you feeling?

LuciBee231015 · 01/11/2016 19:05

Kaisha have you thought about Agnus Castus to try and reduce the length of your cycles?

HighHopes16 · 01/11/2016 19:22

I've felt a little bit nauseous in the mornings and I have cramps on and off but other than I just feel incredibly nervous all the time. I'm not sure how I'm going to get through the next 6 weeks until my first scan!

Kaisha02 · 01/11/2016 19:37

Luci I haven't only because I was hoping last month was a one off. I'm only on cycle 3 but it would appear that might be normal for me now. I'm not sure what Ac is but I will look into it.

LuciBee231015 · 01/11/2016 19:47

Are you still holding off on joining an antenatal group HighHopes?!

BoBo - how are you doing. Really do hope you are ok x

HighHopes16 · 01/11/2016 20:10

I almost joined the June thread today as by estimates I'm due between 19th June - 03 July but I chickened out. Just want to know for sure when I'm actually due but I guess I won't find out for another 6 weeks at least! DH won't let me book an early scan, he thinks I should just relax and see what happens. Easier said then done !

growcookeat · 01/11/2016 21:32

Just checking in ladies. Highhopes that's great news for you! I found it really hard waiting for my scan too, try and keep busy would be my advice. Also I've found it really reassuring joining a thread (I'm in the May one), lots of people to talk about symptoms and ask silly Qs to! If you're due towards the end of the month I would think about whether you want to be the first posting about scans etc or get advice from others who have been through it in the weeks before you then choose a month accordingly.

Bobo I'm so sad to hear your news. It sounds like you are managing to keep positive. Wishing you lots of luck for another go. Don't know if it helps but I have 2 friends that fell pg quickly again and have healthy happy babies after mcs at around 6 weeks.

So, I'm flying through week 13 now which feels unreal. Scan last week (will post pic) and told the family on my 30th on Sunday. They were excited but not surprised tbh. Also told work today which is now making it feel very real.

Anyway, Will try to keep popping in but thread moves so fast! Thankyou so much for your support over the last months, it really has made this crazy time a lot easier! Good luck to everyone on your ttc journeys xx
