Just came back from my scan with good news! Smile My womb lining is slightly thickened but no sign of retained products or any complications from my miscarriage. She said there is cysts on both of my ovaries but not enough to indicate pcos but she's referred me to my gp for further tests so hopefully that will speed things up a little!

MoonlightMojitos · 16/10/2016 16:49

Excellent news highhopes!!! So happy for you :). And they can't ignore a referral now or put off your further tests til the new year! Did they mention anything about needing to wait to ttc again or is it safe to now?

Dixiechick1991 · 16/10/2016 17:13

Hello everybody. I'm only on cycle 2 after stopping the pill, currently 14dpo and should be due on tomorrow but obviously it depends on whether my body has settled down yet

First proper AF after my withdrawal bleed I had a 28 day cycle so hoping that's how it stays.

POAS earlier on, Obviously a bfn. I just want the witch to come now so I can move on and stop symptom spotting!!

MouseLove · 16/10/2016 18:11

Oh Dixie that sounds like a perfect cycle to me!! I'm CD31 today coming off the pill. My body has been giving me loads of crap this last month. I keep thinking AF will show, but nothing has.

Kaisha02 · 16/10/2016 20:09

Mouse I really hope you get an answer soon, one way or another, to let you know whats going on at least. I'm in the fun dtd stage of cycle 3 now so just need to embrace it and get on with it.

MouseLove · 16/10/2016 20:30

Oh kaisha have fun!! Wink and thank you. I hope I do to. Peeing every 5 mins to check if AF has arrived is no fun!!

Seven0fNine · 16/10/2016 21:32

Sarah that scan picture is amazing!! You got your bfp just after I joined the forum! I can't believe it's been 10 weeks already! (and I've still not had an af........)

Just did something really stupid and asked Google if asthma and infertility are linked. According to Google..they are! Now I'm gutted! But I bet if I typed in "is breathing air and infertility" linked it would come up with a reason why!

Tommygirl10 · 16/10/2016 22:14

Fantastic news high hopes! So happy for you. So I'm guessing it's on to Ttc again then :)
I've got fw fast approaching so enjoying dtd.
Good luck to all those in tww / poas!! And to those in fw too!! X

looby1304 · 16/10/2016 22:52

highhopes I'm glad to hear that good news!

I've been away for the weekend, with lots of wine and water slides! AF did arrive late on Friday, very light and has already finished though. My BBT is still raised but it might be innaccurate as I've been away. I'm going to give it until Wednesday and if BBT is still high poas again, if not then just accept I'm out for this month and got away with a lovely light and symptom free AF!
Good luck to all those in 2ww!

HighHopes16 · 16/10/2016 23:33

Thanks everyone Smile
Moonlight- she just said she sees no reason why I wouldn't be able to conceive again- best £99 I ever spent! Haha

LuciBee231015 · 17/10/2016 07:04

Hey everyone... I'm 8 dpo today. Thinking I might poas on Wednesday at 10 dpo, I know that's still early though. Af due on Saturday.

High hopes that is the best news!!

MouseLove · 17/10/2016 14:22

Luci wait till Saturday if you can!! We can be test buddies if I get that far and AF doesn't show up. Grin

LuciBee231015 · 17/10/2016 14:28

Ohhh I don't know if I can wait that long, I will try. Af is due Saturday so makes sense to wait really...

Mouse is this your first cycle off the pill? I didn't ov until cd38 on my first cycle and then got af on cd52!

MouseLove · 17/10/2016 15:58

Yes it is Luci which is why I'm almost certain I'm waiting for AF right now. Today is CD32

SummerHopin · 17/10/2016 16:07

Hi ladies.

I posted on here a few months back but since then havent been on much - sorry. I'm afraid I have no BFP to bring to the table, only congrats to those that have had!

So today I am on CD47 of cycle 5 or 6 since coming off the pill. My cycles seem to be getting longer, and I did some reading today (I know, the self diagnosis curse!) and all I can see is that cycles longer than 40 days mean that you probably havent ovulated!

I know that the best answer is to use OPKs and I will be after this cycle, but just wanted a bit of reassurance - can you have long cycles and things be still ok? Or does it inevitably mean somethings wrong?

Any other loopy cycled ladies? xx

tatatetelle · 17/10/2016 16:53

Hi Ladies,

I joined the thread a couple of months ago but this was going to fast for me! I have PCOS so loopy doesn't even start to cover my cycles - try inexistent! But I have been lurking on the background since Blush Long story short after a series of tests I was referred to my local ACU, and am currently undergoing treatment on Clomid (ovulation stimulation).

SummerHopin, and anyone with unusually long cycles, if can recommend anything from my experience, I know it's a pain, but try monitoring your body temperature for 1 cycle, to check what's happening. Fingers x you just have long cycles with ovulation, but if not that will give you a basis to ask your GP for further tests. Something between 1 in 5 and 1 in 10 women have PCOS (NHS say 1 in 5) but it's not hugely spoken about nor are the symptoms always obvious. AND it's easily treatable - so don't panic or worry. It's just the diagnosis and referral process that are long. xx

Mummy2squish · 17/10/2016 17:34

Hi everyone it's been a while since I posted in here. I made it to 147 days on one cycle this year which was just so frustrating. During that time I had a scan which suggested possible pcos which I was put on metformin for, I was then put on thyroxine for my thyroid. My cycles seemed to regular to my normal 39 days. Three cycles down the line I got a BFP last week Smile still very VERY early days but definitely push for tests girls I think that's helped me to regulate a bit more.

Xx

Dixiechick1991 · 17/10/2016 18:05

I'm out for this month I think. AF came this morning very lightly with no warnings, no pain no cramps.
Oh well.

Seven0fNine · 17/10/2016 20:23

OMG breaking news....after 93 days of nothing since my withdrawal bleed since coming off the pill, today I had what I think is the start of AF. I am so happy!! Fingers Crossed it starts properly! At least something has happened, been in limbo for the past 2 months!

Welcome summer and tata... summer I know our thread mummy BoBo had some crazy long cycles and got her bfp on one so don't worry!

Congrats on your bfp mummy and sorry to hear about af dixie xx

Seven0fNine · 17/10/2016 20:26

Hope your scan went ok BoBo?? Xx

MouseLove · 17/10/2016 20:42

Oh yay SevenOfNine Thats fab news that you're out of limbo!!! Can you send some limbo nudges my way please haha, CD32 today, and although thats still normal, it hasn't stopped me feeling like I'm going mad!

Dixiechick1991 · 17/10/2016 21:24

Well after a day where I thought AF was here I've had literally nothing for the past 4/5 hours so don't know whether it was some spotting or if it'll kick in tomorrow.
To be honest if I hadn't been counting days and thought hmm today is supposed to be AF day I wouldn't have even noticed the spotting it was that light!

No idea what's going on with my bOdy

looby1304 · 18/10/2016 07:32

My BBT has settled down again and AF is over - so it's on to the next cycle of BDing for me. Good luck to everyone testing soon?

LuciBee231015 · 18/10/2016 08:19

Sooo I caved and tested at 9 dpo today... 🙈 Someone give me a slap! BFN. I know I've still got until Saturday but I know I'm out for this month, I just know it 🙄. Given myself the hump now 😔

BoBo90 · 18/10/2016 08:36

Welcome to any newbies!! And welcome back to our naughty lovely ladies who have been awol 😜

Seven that's great!!!! After my first long cycle off the pill the next was 30-40 days so fx yours will settle down now too as your ovaries have had a little kick start 😊
My scan went well thanks lovely 😊 Baby is perfectly positioned with a nice little heartbeat! I'm only 6 weeks not 7 which makes sense if you count from implantation not conception 🤔 I'm going to ask the midwife about that later!

Dixie could be af or late implantation? Keep an eye on it 😊

Good luck to anyone waiting to test!!!
