Can't believe we've filled that thread, hope you all find this one!

Ali - so uncomfortable isn't it?! But I like that I can feel it happening, gives me a bit of warning at least. Yeah, I'm expecting I'll ov Thursday/Friday now which would work out much better than Saturday so fingers crossed.

I honestly think that's a good idea bear.....it's the reason I stopped posting for a while. Just needed a break from everything. (I still stalked you ladies and read most days tho!) but somehow not posting made me a little detached from it and it did me the world of good. I sincerely hope you get the break you deserve and like Mel said, I will be thinking of you x

Thebean123 · 25/10/2016 08:55

Oh and Mel those tests look fantastic to me! I was expecting to see barely there lines! Definitely try and step back now and stop feeding the anxiety......good vibes for both of us!

jinglebellmel · 25/10/2016 09:44

Thanks bean I am definitely going to try!

Definite lines Mel!

I'm ok thanks, busy with the kids off and we're visiting relatives.

Have a good half-term those of you with kids off!

Alibaba2 · 25/10/2016 21:39

I was actually looking at the wrong line! Yes they are getting darker!

McBaby · 26/10/2016 08:11

Defiantly getting darker and I think they get to a point they don't get any darker or you just use all the dye so they may vary slightly!!

Bee1234 · 26/10/2016 12:55

Mel those lines look absolutely fine in my eyes.. but I totally understand why you'd think otherwise after what you've been through recently. I hope some positivity starts to creep in as time goes on.

Bean, wow! Huge congrats! Me and my OH were the same when I found out, barely mentioned it for weeks! Pregnancy after MC just isn't the same. However I'm sure you will reach a stage when you can finally enjoy it.

Bear, take care of yourself and I hope in time you can heal and find some answers. We will be thinking of you and hoping for the best.

Ali I hope you're enjoying half term with the kids and are less stressed about ttc!

Thebean123 · 26/10/2016 13:38

Thanks bee :) I am cautiously happy and excited but just ever so wary. Almost feel like mentioning it may jinx it in a way..... Haven't done another test since Monday when it was nice a dark and have managed to step away since then and resist the urge. I've had what feels like a stitch I guess in my left side for days now....not painful as such more uncomfortable. Spoke to my step mum who is a gynae nurse and explained everything to her and she reckons I should go to the gp and get referred to the EPU. I explained that after the last MC and the terrible 2 weeks I had with blood test after blood test and the limbo waiting to miscarry I'm terrified of going to gp just yet. I'd obv like the reassurance that hgc levels are appropriate for this stage but am equally terrified of bad news or a 2 day wait for the results. Have felt a little less on edge and scared this time by just keeping quiet and not really mentioning it.....

Don't know what to do really. Think I will leave it over the weekend and obv of the pain gets worse will go from there.

Half term in full swing here Ali! With my two SDC running riot as I type! Hope everyone is well....

McBaby · 26/10/2016 13:47

Bean I have had a stich low down on pelvis on right hand side in this and my first pregnancy with dd1z I have had a quite a large cyst on that side in both pregnancies. Obviously if the pain is bad go to epu to rule out ectopic etc but mine has been annoying but bearable both times. It has eased up this week at 12 weeks so hoping the cyst is reducing in size.

Thebean123 · 26/10/2016 15:46

Oh ok mcbaby that's interesting......do the Drs do anything about a cyst or is it harmless but annoying?! Don't really want to go to Drs or EPU etc to be fair and I figure as long as I'm not in any major pain I should be fine x

McBaby · 26/10/2016 16:15

They do nothing except say that's a big cyst hopefully it won't cause a problem and will be gone at your next scan. It have changed size between 7 and 11 weeks but I have another scan at 13.5 weeks so hopefully it will have reduced.

Alibaba2 · 26/10/2016 16:20

Sorry Bean, congrats!!! Have been missing loads of posts!

jinglebellmel · 26/10/2016 16:26

Bean stitch pain is pretty common I think, could be a cyst like mcbaby says which is harmless or just ligaments stretching as your uterus grows. Obviously get it checked if you're worried though.

Thanks bee, looks like I'm maybe just being paranoid then (although that is infinitely preferable to being right!) I'm still getting lots of period type pain on and off, but Google seems to say it's normal so trying to be rational!

Hope you're getting on okay Ali, how many dpo now?

OP posts:
Alibaba2 · 28/10/2016 17:54

Sorry Mel, I'm 8dpo today. The usual, nothing to report.

Definitely period pain is normal. Twice I had no idea I was pg as my period felt imminent. It's just your uterus growing.

How are you feeling?

Alibaba2 · 28/10/2016 17:58

Sorry, 7dpo not 8dpo

Thebean123 · 29/10/2016 10:04

Hi ladies.....the stitch sensation has eased up now. Not gone completely but nowhere near as regular and noticeable as it was. Last time I was pg the sore and tender boobs was the first thing that alerted me to it.....this time however they have been completely normal which I must admit was worrying me a little. The last two days though, they have become heavy, tender and so sore to the touch. I have quite big boobs anyway, and sleeping has become a logistical nightmare as if I roll over on them it wakes me up as its so painful! Even though it's painful, I'm also so happy to be getting another "typical" pregnancy symptom. Silly isn't it?!

How is everyone else getting on?

jinglebellmel · 29/10/2016 18:24

That's good news bean :)

How are you Ali? Hope you get some positive news this month. Did your dr get back to you about the blood tests in the end?

OP posts:
Alibaba2 · 29/10/2016 19:17

Hi Mel!

I need to book the tests. Is it day 3 and 21? Day 3 will be next Sunday so do you think Sat or Mon is best?

They have offered all the usual tests but treatment wouldn't be funded. I don't think I'd go down that route anyway...

jinglebellmel · 31/10/2016 09:43

I'd see if you can get first thing Monday, should be close enough hopefully (or better still day 1 will never come!) Will be good to know anyway just do that you know where you stand. How are you getting on, any symptoms either way this month?

OP posts:
Alibaba2 · 31/10/2016 10:16

Nothing. Very depressing!

jinglebellmel · 31/10/2016 11:33

:( although nothing might not be a bad thing if it includes no sign of af? So frustrating for you ALI, I hope the blood tests maybe shed some light x

OP posts:
Alibaba2 · 31/10/2016 21:33

What happened to your spotting Mel? Did you get it for just a couple of months or did it continue for a while? Did you get it any of the times you conceived?

jinglebellmel · 01/11/2016 07:57

Hi Ali, I had it for about the first 3/4 cycles after the 1st mc. Are you still getting it?

OP posts:
Alibaba2 · 01/11/2016 09:16

Yes, seems to be every cycle now. I had it pre-MC too but stopped paying attention so not sure if I had it when I got pg

jinglebellmel · 01/11/2016 10:16

Is it just before Af? I've heard of plenty of people getting preg with spotting a day or two before. Maybe your blood tests will give you a clue as to what it is.
