Can't believe we've filled that thread, hope you all find this one!

Ali - so uncomfortable isn't it?! But I like that I can feel it happening, gives me a bit of warning at least. Yeah, I'm expecting I'll ov Thursday/Friday now which would work out much better than Saturday so fingers crossed.

I can't bear to think about it but it was in our bedroom against the door so no-one would come in. That's why everything fell out!

Sorry for tmi!

thatsnotmybear · 01/10/2016 15:56

Ha ha ha that's brilliant Ali! I was wondering earlier how you'd made sure you weren't interrupted!

I've been feeling so twitchy all day about missing ov that I'm going to stay in tonight. The weather's awful where I am as well so it's easier to make excuses!

Haha, well you only need the one to stay in as long as it's a good one Ali, true dedication to the cause! I think we all deserve a bfp after the effort we've put in this month!

OP posts:
Alibaba2 · 01/10/2016 19:18

Definitely Mel!

OH said it was really hard work as he could hear his Mum talking throughout! Confused

Alibaba2 · 01/10/2016 19:19

Bear, do you mean you're staying in to dtd?

thatsnotmybear · 01/10/2016 20:31

Yes I am! Sad isn't it?!

Your poor DH having to listen to his mum during sexy time Grin

Alibaba2 · 01/10/2016 21:01

Not at all Bear - needs must!

(Says she who did it while inlaws were in earshot)!

Good luck to you!

jinglebellmel · 02/10/2016 10:14

No bear, you have to do whatever makes you feel better. No point going out if you know you'll spend the next 2 weeks stressing you missed ov. I know another month doesn't really make much difference in the grand scheme of things, but as the due date for the first mc approaches I'm finding I'm even more aware of the months passing by.

Dh managed to produce the goods again, definitely giving him tonight off! I know there's only a 30% chance each month, but will be gutted if we've not done it after all this!

Bee1234 · 02/10/2016 14:17

Wow ladies you are all killing it on the DTD front ( ashamed to say my sex life is none existent, I just can't face it atm! Is that normal?? ) Definitely deserve some positives after all you're amazing efforts! Our poor OH's, the things we put them through ( or not in my case ) to get what we want haha!

Bee1234 · 02/10/2016 14:18

Your**

jinglebellmel · 02/10/2016 17:38

Haha sounds normal bee, I will def be having a rest when I'm pregnant!

How's your tww going Ali? I'm 2 dpo and already impatient, it's going to be a long couple of weeks!

Bear do you think you've ov'd?

OP posts:
Alibaba2 · 03/10/2016 11:15

I'm impatient too. 8dpo I think. Nothing to report. I'm becoming more aware of my body and hormones though. I reckon I'll have a fair idea by the weekend.

It's weird thinking that absolutely nothing could be going on in there and all this effort is for nothing!

thatsnotmybear · 03/10/2016 14:05

I think yesterday was ov day Mel, but Fertility Friend thinks not! My temp has increased this morning, but I didn't get a temp dip during ov & I think that's what it's looking for. Hopefully my temp increases again tomorrow & it changes it's mind!

thatsnotmybear · 03/10/2016 18:10

Ali - I agree it's really strange; there have been (many) months when I've convinced myself that there's something happening in there & I've been totally wrong! You're very disciplined about not testing until AF is late aren't you? I think we're out this month as I'm uncertain about ov & we only dtd twice during fw but I'm definitely not testing early after last month's mega disappointment.

Alibaba2 · 03/10/2016 19:13

I guess by the time I can test, I normally have a fair idea either way. Although last month I was convinced I was pg at 10dpo and didn't text until 12dpo when I started feeling premenstrual.

I'll see if I start spotting at 10dpo like last month, that would be a fairly strong sign that AF was coming. Must remember to wear white knickers!!

And I would expect PMS by Friday at the latest.

The number of times you dtd does not matter. It only takes one! I am testament to this.

jinglebellmel · 03/10/2016 19:25

Totally agree Ali, 2 weeks of waiting and we don't even know if sperm and egg got together in the first place, I'd love to know what's going on in there rather than all the waiting and guessing!

Bear, I'm really not sure what to do about testing this month. Last month was really disappointing, but I don't know if it's better to know if it happens again so I can get more testing, referral etc or if that's just adding unnecessary stress? Realistically I can't see me waiting until Af is due to test, I don't think I have the self control!

Ali is right it only takes the one time, we only had sex once all month when I conceived my son as dh was away, so I wouldn't count yourself out just yet.

OP posts:
Alibaba2 · 03/10/2016 19:29

If I could afford to take a month off ttc, I'd love to know what a normal cycle feels like. Would I still get the cramps from 7dpo? I wish I knew! I've had them every month since ttc so they must be there all the time.

thatsnotmybear · 03/10/2016 20:12

I suppose I'm trying to tell myself that I'm out so I won't be tempted to test! We only dtd once the cycle that we conceived my DS too - and it was at least 3 days before ov.

At the moment I'm resolved not to test but that's easy to say at 1dpo. We'll see how well my resolve is doing in 2 weeks time!

Ali the cramps may be a normal feature of your cycle now. Things change after a mc - my AF is consistently heavier & crampier than it was before.

Mel do you get your results in a few days?

jinglebellmel · 03/10/2016 20:54

Okay, good tactic bear! I'm not even going to kid myself as I know what I'm like, you two both have much stronger resolve than me!

I should be able to get the results Friday, I'm interested to see if it's picked anything up.

Ali, did you used to get the cramps before ttc? I was a lot more crampy last month than I have been in the unsuccessful months. Not sure if that's necessarily a good thing given how it turned out but I seem to remember being the same with my son.

OP posts:
Alibaba2 · 03/10/2016 21:11

I don't remember getting cramps before ttc - but they may have been there.

I suppose secretly our hopes are always up but we don't want to be too disappointed if it doesn't happen.

I can't imagine it happening but at the same time, I'm gutted when it doesn't happen.

thatsnotmybear · 03/10/2016 21:44

I had days of pulling and pinching sensations last month, and weirdly, some painful twinges in my c-section scar. It occurred to me that perhaps that's where the blastocyst was trying to implant, hence why it all went wrong. A grim thought!

Alibaba2 · 04/10/2016 13:55

Can someone explain the Fertility Friend/Pregnancy Monitor to me? What is 'Spotting Factor'? Is this for implantation spotting?

thatsnotmybear · 04/10/2016 14:39

Yes I believe so. It uses data from charts where users turned out to be pregnant & reported spotting prior to getting their bfp.

Fertility Friend is not my friend at the moment! It's still insisting I haven't ovulated Angry
