Thank you shoes it does make sense Smile I do try to isolate myself as much as possible but sometimes my mind does not let me!!!

Flying home very early tomorrow... Plan to go home and do calls from there, so I can start the weekend on time with my nephew who is coming for a sleepover.

Oh late I'm so sorry sweetheart,at least you know that which consultant to make sure you see and have another good experience with the iui, hopefully next time. WineChocolateFlowersCakexx

Sorry you're having a stressful time at work, your mind must be a little whirlwind with that and tww!!!nearly the weekend! Thank goodness

kwick · 16/09/2016 05:04

Thought I saw a second line but was just my inability to focus so early in the morning. I will carry on testing until Sunday but not much hope now. I know the TWW feels interminable but so is wait for starting treatment again.

Test again later today. FMU isn't best for everyone (definitely isn't for me). Still got my fingers crossed for you but I can see too that it could be looking more promising at this stage Flowers

pickle162 · 16/09/2016 22:21

Sad hopefully that'll change kwick, don't give up just yet, really does proper suck hun xx

Karendvm · 17/09/2016 01:59

Thinking of you kwick. X

kwick · 17/09/2016 07:02

Got a BFN at 3am - which was my FMU. Will try again later but not holding out much hope. What a frickerty fcuk!

Other bad news is I will probably have to go back to where I have just been this time with lawyers to take official statements.

Oh Kwick - I'm sorry. Things have not been straightforward for you. I hope you can dig deep and keep a tight grasp on your PMA. Test again tomorrow just in case but if it's negative do allow yourself to be upset about it before picking yourself up and deciding on your plan of action.

Your work situation sounds horrid. When will you have to go back?

You need a weekend of being kind to yourself at the very least.

Hi all, sorry Ive been absent for a little while, I Have been a little hormonal and anxious.
Yesterday I had my 7 week scan, which couldn't have come at a better time as i woke to spotting, naturally thinking the worst.
I got to see a beautiful flickering heart beat, and cried with relief, however it is bitter sweet as i have a blood clot inside my uterus too, which may or may not cause me to mis-carry. I will be going back again next week for another scan, so keeping my fingers crossed for a good outcome.

Hope everyone else is keeping well

pickle162 · 17/09/2016 09:45

Oh my darling kwick I am so sorry CakeFlowersChocolatexxxx was really hoping that this time it would work Sad
And work sounds like absolute sh!te at the mo, remember to take time out for yourself and think about what to do next or...don't think about anything and scoff a load of doughnuts and stinky cheese!!!! Much love sweetheart xxx

pickle162 · 17/09/2016 09:47

Sorry lovely that there is a big worrying negative with that lovely sound of the heartbeat, can they not try and disperse the clot with medication or would that put the baby at risk too?xx

INeedNewShoes · 17/09/2016 09:59

Lovely - great news that you saw a heartbeat yesterday Smile

I've just done a little bit of reading on blood clots in the uterus. It seems that if the blood clot is small it is unlikely to cause any risk and will at some point just be absorbed into the uterus. It also doesn't seem to be something that would be treated with meds.

I'd drink plenty of water over the next week. It's a natural blood thinner!

Lovelyholiday · 17/09/2016 10:18

Thanks guys 😊 I did a similar search most of the day yesterday, so hoping it stays relatively small. No big bleeds, just spotting so far.
I was wondering about baby asprin but the verdict seems very mixed to risk trying it.
It's so hard not to worry about everything, I'm panicking about carrying all my heavy equipment for next week, and trying to figure out how to minimise weight in the bags, 😣🙈 but for this weekend I'm not moving....and drinking lots of water.
How are you feeling shoes I hope all feels well with you this time, time seems to be going so slow, but so quick at the same time.
I am also considering taking the harmony test, as I really don't want the risky invasive procedures.
How's things with you pickle?

INeedNewShoes · 17/09/2016 10:33

Thanks Lovely. I feel appalling. Far more appalling than last time, so I'm hoping it's a good sign.

You have to find someone to help you with the heavy lifting. One of the things I saw about clots is to avoid heavy lifting! Where are you going and what equipment needs transporting?

Lovelyholiday · 17/09/2016 10:47

That's great news shoes although sucks to feel rubbish I'm sure! I have very few symptoms atm apart from anxiety, bloating and tiredness.

I have a new baby massage course starting on Tuesday with 8 new mums, so I can't ask them for help. It's 9 of everything including me, towels x2 each, oils, water bottles, etc you get the idea, but it's quite a bit and not really anyone to ask, cannot cancel and let them down...catch 22...

INeedNewShoes · 17/09/2016 11:17

Tricky one, but none of that should be too heavy if you just separate it all into loads of bags and do lots of trips from the car to the venue.

Lovelyholiday · 17/09/2016 11:46

yes you are right shoes a bit of time management and organisational skillsis what is needed.....not stress ...:)

pickle162 · 17/09/2016 12:12

I ok thanks lovely got an appt mon 26th to view the clinic and have a free chat which very excited about but got a letter from stupid service charge people yesterday (I had emailed them over 6wks ago!!!great customer service) they didn't really answer any of my questions especially about the fact they have done nada for the 2.5yrs I've been here) so pee'd off! Need to speak to my neighbours but I'm trying to ignore for today and put to back of mind for now but looks like I'm going to have to pay the £500 which makes me so cross.
So got loft being boarded £580, that payment £500 and last surgery £425....feel like why the fek have I worked so hard to save for baby stuff as that fund is going to be blown into nothing (well £500) need to do a budget list and see what happens. The loft is in prep for baby so have much more room arghhhhhhh!!!! I just want to get started and it's like life is doing everything possible NOT to let me! Need to win the lotto (if only I did it) going to need to ask for overtime me thinks....or rob a bank! Sorry having melt down day, have put it to good use tho, cleaned both bathrooms, kitchen, kitchen cupboards and spare room.
Hope everyone is ok?x

Karendvm · 17/09/2016 12:49

kwick that truly sucks. I hope you are taking care of yourself. Work sounds terrible right now and I know that can't help.

Karendvm · 17/09/2016 12:51

Oh lovely. What can't it ever be simple? I hope the clot goes away and your baby stays put. Rest lots, breathe deep. Not sure if you are into this, but your own thoughts can be quite powerful. There is a free meditation on circle and bloom for fertility. It mainly just helps you relax and then at the end you could visualize the clot dissolving. Just a suggestion.

Hugs to everyone.

Lovelyholiday · 17/09/2016 16:56

pickle can I have some of your energy please? My house needs a good clean! As for the money, you will find a way to make it work, when the times right etc, it's better to keep those stress levels down, so just do what you need to do.

karen I know, but that's great advice, I need to have faith that the little bean is a fighter and will stick with me!
I hope you're doing well too!

kwick · 17/09/2016 18:11

lovely so glad you got to see the heartbeat! How exciting! Take it easy and drink loads of water!!!

pickle just scoffed loads of liquorice... Think I will have a bath for the first time in 3 weeks in a minute

lovely I think you should book a TaskRabbit to help with lifting

shoes I have a massive stash of BA airsick bags if you need any Grin

pickle you are one of the most capable people I know. You will for sure find a way - all this hassle will be worth it in the end!

karen yep work sucks right now - of 3 bosses only 1 actually friendly with me right now. But you know I do the best I can and it is not my fault that I have so many burning fires to put out! Good news is that we won case of a horrid manager that had been aggressive and harassing his team for 12 years - I got news yesterday. He may still appeal but I know truth is on our side.

Have major facial breakout - must be the progesterone overload... This is so disappointing ladies but the show must go on... I am not ready to give up yet.

Ooh that's good about the nasty boss

Thanks kwick and lovely it has to work, I will make it work, i can't delay any more, the last year has been torturous waiting and only 8months left, I can't put it back any further, don't want to be too old for egg share ivf if iui doesn't work.

kwick will you have to wait so long to start again or was that because of the mc? Is it like iui that u can just start on the next cycle?

kwick · 18/09/2016 09:15

Another BFN in the early hours this morning Sad

Skin feels like it is on fire - some clear bite type points but other areas are itchy for no apparent reason. Have spots too. Lovely

I may try a IUI next cycle, just to give myself a "break"... Not sure how much magic potion I have left, will try and speak with clinic tomorrow.

OP posts:
INeedNewShoes · 18/09/2016 09:28

Sorry Kwick Sad It feels a bit like a cruel mind game with all the waiting and hoping and trying not to symptom spot. It's really unfair that you've got spots as well which (for me anyway) are an early pregnancy symptom.

Sounds like a good idea to go for an IUI next. It might just take the pressure off a bit and is a lot less intense than the IVF process.
