Speak of drs after bfp mine didn't even want to see me! Here they ring you to speak to you and see what your problem is then book an appointment or advice etc so she just gave the the phone number for local midwives and I rang them direct to make my booking appointment. Funny how different everything is round the country. Same again though that I had to choose what hospital already as they do your scans and things there.

Oh and cookie hope everything went ok with drs results?

Time for some more poas then!

Does anyone use other tracking methods too? I'm wondering if I should do temping/ similar.

Bobo last time I did an ov test there was not even a faint line. So hopefully this is the start of something and will do them every day now to see if it gets darker. Will be hard doing it at midday tho, I work in an office so not exactly easy to pee in a pot! 🙈
Should I do one in the morning and one when I get home?

Will try and dtd as much as poss this week. Dh is really busy at work and really tired, I may have to spill the beans if he doesn't play ball. Will try the art of seduction first! 💃🏼

Thanks Moonlight my scan was a very uncomfortable 10 minutes of poking around and unbearable awkward silence! The sonographer said my right ovary looked polycystic and then she made me do a pregnancy test (which was of course negative) and said she'd send the full report to my Gp, so I'm not really sure what to think!

Sorry AF got you high, fingers crossed the uss either gives you some answers or reassures you everything's ok. Anyone else due to test soon? I've finished work for 2 weeks now and off to Wales at the weekend, so hopefully plenty of time for BD although no idea if/when I'm ovulating, just hoping for the best x

Congrats Sarah! Fab news - love the fact that more Bfps are rolling in! Glad your appointment went well marmite. Exciting times for you!! Highhopes, I totally know what you mean about the 'awkward silence' part of scans, I sort of wish they'd just do a wee running commentary so we know what they're looking at! Hope the results are ok xx

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts today girls! The scan results were a bit mixed to be honest. Ovaries and uterus were fine but she said I've got duplex kidneys (which I don't believe can affect ttc??). Does anyone know anything about this?? Strange that the ultrasound picked this up! Next stage is day 21 bloods (which I've cheekily booked in for day 27 as this roughly should be my equivalent ovulation wise). I done a urine test at the appointment and have also got a lovely STI home swab kit home with me to do (all procedural she said!!). DH has got sperm analysis appointment next week then that's the boxes ticked for us to be referred to a fertility clinic! I'm a bit sad it's resorted to this but glad the ball is rolling. If it's happens naturally, in the meantime, then I'd be overjoyed!!

Thanks for the welcome Bobo , I know I'm at the very beginning of a potentially looong journey so learning to be patient! Really helpful to read more about about everyone's experience though and great to feel the positive energy and support!

highhopes at least it's all done now, hopefully your Dr will go through things a bit more then? Did they say when you'll speak to the Dr?

cookie at least your baby making bits are good to go then! It's surprising what they can see with the ultrasound. I had one a few years ago for bladder problems and they did my kidneys to check stones and things. Never heard of duplex ones?! Glad everything is moving forward for you, hoping you'll get some answers soon then. When is the blood test? How is your dh feeling about it all?

Thanks moonlight! I'm getting my bloods on 1st sept which seems ages away! Will do my swabs tomorrow and hand in. DH is feeling nervous about doing his 'part' in all the tests but I'm trying to tell him not to feel too sorry for himself- I'm the one who's had the most probing!! Xx

I am away from DH now until sat so I am glad that's not my ovulation day or I'd be out this month already!

Morning ladies! Thanks for all the congratulations. Me and DH are ecstatic! Just did a second test with fmu and I'm still getting a BFP so it's definitely real!

Line is very similar to yesterday (on the pic with two tests it's the bottom one) but it appeared really quickly so I guess that's a good sign. I have a GP appointment tomorrow morning so I'll just go from there.

I really can't believe it's happened so quickly! Xx

Well I did another ov test this morning and line is fainter than last night, I'm going to keep doing them every day this week still though. IF I was on a normal 28 day cycle which I don't actually know, then this week would be my fertile week so no harm in trying anyway is there. x

Hi sarah massive congrats to you

I'm on cd26 now of my cold turkey cycle. Can't be sure about ov as not bbt or opk-ing. Apologies to those who are having problems with ewcm, but I seem to be the opposite at the moment. I've had 10 days of it! Wonder whether I haven't even ov but my body's just been gearing up to. All my ov pains have gone now. Anyone had similar? One things for sure, my cycles are still irregular and still looooooong!

Going to just try to dtd as often as I can until AF or BFP!

I haven't had AF in 5 months, but prior to being on the pill I once didn't get it for 9 months (picture a terrified 19yo.. ), that's when I got diagnosed with PCOS, so no massive surprise there. Next test for me is a smear in a couple of weeks to add a more recent one to the referral, GP is being super thorough which is great. She also mentioned that bcause I'm 28 it might take longer to be referred - women in their late 30s are fast tracked, which makes absolute sense, but that means I'm at the bottom of the waiting list.

I'm taking Vitamin B and folic acid as per GP recommendation, but wondering if there's anything else you would recommend I should take / do while waiting for the referral to come through? Wine maybe? x

Haha at the art of seduction Luci... I found the copy of the karma sutra someone bought us for our wedding whilst having a clear out yesterday. It was hilarious, apparently you're meant to have all his mates over and clean the house and cook them lovely food then when it's time to dtd send them off with perfume and flowers...

In other news.... baaagghhh where is stupid AF?!
I'm on CD 31 (never had one this long before pill). Felt really sick the other day but then nothing past few days. Did a test yesterday (first one ever, omg poas is gonna be addictive and it doesn't help having Ovia pressuring you into doing them!) anyway, it was a bfn of course. I just want her to come so I can get on with trying next month!!

2 negative ov tests for me so far today. Going to keep doing them this week still, as if my cycle turns out to be a normal 28 days then this week is the week! Will dtd every other day too. The art of seduction worked last night for those of you that were wondering 😜

Had some 'rose tinted' cm this afternoon tho and feel a bit bloated, boobs feeling a bit different as well. Hopefully signs that ov is going to happen soonish! Fx 🐓🍳

I had my letter reminding me to book smear last month but as I was pregnant at the time I ignored it. Now I'm wondering if I should book in or not? Obviously the timing will be difficult as don't want to do it in 2ww so would have to book first week of cycle for the following week?
