I've come home. I told my manager what's going on and she said go home and lay down. So I am.

Lucie - it is like AF, just a bit lighter. I wouldn't quite call it flow but def requires a pad. The nurse said I would need another blood test on Monday (assuming not Sunday as clinic is closed). Basically I'm not going to know anything before Tuesday unless the tests start getting lighter or AF starts with vengeance.

Banana - keeping everything crossed for a nice thick lining for you. Xx

lucieloos · 15/07/2016 09:40

Sorry Sammy, it's all a horrible waiting game. See how things go over the weekend. Maybe it will ease off.

Banana, really hope everything goes well with your lining. Keep us posted.

Oh the lab contacted me about the blood tests. I thought I had done ok with one of them but neither could be tested. I must have taken to long or something. Think I'm going to pay an extra £19 and go to one of their clinics and have the blood drawn for me.

Sorry to hear the testing is a bit of a pain Lucie, I know you'll get it sorted soon.

Sammy I have everything crossed hoping for the outcome we are all wishing you for. Work is the last place you need to be, glad to hear you have a supportive team!

It very well could be the twin, keeping everything crossed for you xxx

lucieloos · 15/07/2016 10:46

Thanks itsme, the local clinic is quite a drive from me and it's an NHS drop in centre so I know it will probably take forever so I've agreed to give it one more go with a new finger prick kit and if that doesn't work I will have to have a refund and try and find a private clinic that does the test locally. Hope everything is going well with you.

All is well this end, I finally feel less bloated and our little embryo has been reunited, now the waiting game/manic knicker checking every 5 minutes for implantation bleeding lol.

Itsme247 · 15/07/2016 10:53

I'm just so relieved we have the possibility of a FET if this doesn't work, it feels like it's taken a huge pressure off.

Borisisback · 15/07/2016 10:59

Banana - good luck for your lining... Hope one if the drugs works.

Itsme- glad things seem to be ok and you still have options / plans.

Lucie - goodness thoes tests sound difficult. I hope the second attempt is better than the first now you know the drill.

loopylou1984 · 15/07/2016 11:00

That's great news itsme, congratulations on being PUPO!

Itsme247 · 15/07/2016 11:32

Oh Sammy thanks for your thoughts, especially when you are in such a limbo too. Make sure MR Sammy is giving you foot rubs and fetching you CakeChocolate whilst you have full control of TV remote!

MPP81 · 15/07/2016 11:56

Sammy I'm sorry to hear it hasn't stopped. I can't imagine how you must be feeling but I am thinking of you and keeping everything crossed Flowers

Lucie well that's bloody irritating for you, about you blood tests! I hope the next one works out ok. I don't envy you having to go through the finger pricking again!

itsme congratulations on being PUPO! Everything crossed for you!

Banana hoping your lining scan goes OK! Keep us posted!

Star ive missed you! I'm sorry the first go didn't work. Fx for this one for you!

AFM, first of all, thank you for all your comments. I'm a bit less stressed today, though still feeling the disappointment of this even being an issue when I just want to get excited about starting. Colposcopy clinic called today and have booked me in for 9am Wednesday morning. I'm so grateful to them. Apparently it's usually a 3-4 week wait for an appointment. Hopefully if that confirms my normal smear result we'll be good to go (though I imagine I'll be on 6 month recall again for a while). I haven't checked any of this with reprofit yet because I wanted to have the results from the colposcopy place to hand first. I'm hoping that if it's normal, it won't be an issue for them. Banana you are a genius! If the results are abnormal I will definitely ask about a freeze all cycle. Yes, I'll still be disappointed if we can't transfer but it will take the sting out if we can at least be doing something and avoid losing the best part of a grand. I'd never have thought of that, so thank you!

Hope everyone else is OK. Hello to anyone I've missed and big hi to the newbies!

stealthbanana · 15/07/2016 14:11

Sammy 💐💐 Keeping everything crossed for you.

loopylou1984 · 15/07/2016 17:50

Thanks itsme, DH has been at work unfortunately. There didn't seem much point in him being here. He's bringing takeaway home though as neither of us feel like cooking.

Thanks MPP and stealth.

MPP great idea of bananas to think about a freeze all cycle!

Bleeding seems to have slowed back to spotting for now. Still getting some cramps though which is unnerving. Preying for a nice high hcg result tomorrow. Xx

Itsme247 · 15/07/2016 18:07

Sammy you are much more rational than me! Have a restful weekend x

lucieloos · 15/07/2016 23:06

Sammy, glad the bleeding has slowed up a bit and good luck with the blood results tomorrow.

loopylou1984 · 16/07/2016 07:39

Ok, so this is today's FRER compared to yesterday's. Do you think the slight break in today's line means anything? Other than that I think they look the same. My IC looks a little darker today, but only just.

I'm still bleeding, but I think it has slowed. There was more red first thing, but it seems brown now.

Trying to conceive for 10 months or more. Thread 5. All ten plussers welcome.
bananafish81 · 16/07/2016 07:55

sammy good luck lovely, we're all thinking of you Flowers

itsme huge congrats on being PUPO! And on getting something for the freezer too - all sounds like you're rocking the socks off this cycle!

lucie sorry you're having such a nightmare with the blood test - I found the finger prick kit a massive ballache and struggled to fill one vial, let alone two

MPP so glad the colposcopy clinic have got you in so quickly. Fingers crossed it's all normal, but if not then hope it's a) resolved quickly and b) that you can crack on with a freeze all cycle

star I'm so sorry about the first round, hoping you get a lovely surprise this time, and have a fabulous holiday

AFM so lining scan & bloods for dummy FET showed I hadn't responded to the oestrogen pills or patches. Lining had moved from 5.8 to 6.4, wasn't triple line - which actually isn't surprising given my bloods. My oestrodial had gone DOWN since last week! So I've obviously not been absorbing the artificial oestrogen at all.

So we've written that off, and started light stims, to try and thicken my lining with my own natural oestrogen. He spent ages looking at the lining, checked the blood flow - he's happy with the appearance of the endometrium & uterine environment - it's just not thick. So because my oestrodial is so low, it's basically baseline levels, so we don't need to do Cyclogest - good to crack on straight away.

So FET #1 is GO. Did my first Gonal-F injection last night - only on an ovulation induction dose (75iu), although my ovaries were so polycystic it's possible they could go bonkers. On a strict unprotected nookie ban, in case we trigger a bazillion eggs - we're trying to get me pregnant, not TOO pregnant Confused

If all goes well we'll trigger in 2 weeks time and aim for a transfer the first week of August. So desperately hoping we can make it to transfer!

loopylou1984 · 16/07/2016 08:10

Goodness banana - things have changed direction very suddenly for you! Fx this plan does the trick! Xx

loopylou1984 · 16/07/2016 08:30

Hcg was 101.8 yesterday. The nurse said it was normal for this stage of pregnancy, but without doing another test there's no way of knowing which way this is going. I have a repeat booked in for 10am Monday.

She said reasons for bleeding:

A blood vessel that got damaged during EC or ET that has reopened

Cervical cells sitting outside the cervix that have been irritated by pessaries

Losing 1 embryo

And obviously losing both embryos

So I'm none the wiser really, but should be by Tuesday.

loopylou1984 · 16/07/2016 08:34

Oh and implantation bleeding of course

MrsRen · 16/07/2016 08:45

It looks hopeful to me Sammy!

bananafish81 · 16/07/2016 08:55

That all sounds very hopeful sammy, and that's a good hCG, everything crossed for a good rate of doubling xx

lucieloos · 16/07/2016 08:58

Banana, eeekk that's brilliant news! If all goes well for us both it sounds like we will both be pupo around the same time! Fingers crossed it all goes well with your lining.

Sammy, that's a decent enough hcg but yes it's all to do with the doubling time so let's keep hopeful for Tuesday. At least it's not rock bottom though and fallen quickly. Hope you're ok and glad the bleeding is slowing a bit.

loopylou1984 · 16/07/2016 17:27

I'm crampy this afternoon :(. Not all the time, but on and off. Had red bleeding most of the morning, but like yesterday it's calmed down a bit this afternoon. I'm not sure why I keep posting about it. No one here can tell me what I want to hear anymore than the nurse could.

If I am losing my baby I'm not sure why I would be bleeding when still on the progesterone? Last time when I wasn't pregnant the progesterone kept AF at bay until I stopped taking it.

With the cramps and bleeding combined I'm sure it's all over.

Skipped a friends BBQ today which turned out to be a wise choice. DH went and got baby bombed. It's the second baby this couple have conceived in the time we've been trying Sad

lucieloos · 16/07/2016 18:37

Sammy, sorry to hear you are feeling like that. If you have a miscarriage unfortunately the progesterone cant stop the bleeding as its the result of your embryo breaking away from the endometrium and a drop in hcg means your body knows something isn't right and tries to flush it out. With my ectopic I bled continuously for around 8 weeks but I was still pregnant according to hcg levels and still had very strong frers and 2-3 weeks on digi. My body was trying to flush out the embryo as it had implanted in the wrong place but because it wasn't in the womb (apparently) it wouldn't come out so I just kept bleeding and bleeding. It's different when you get a bfn and the progesterone is just there to maintain the lining. It will probably work at doing that for a few weeks and even then af would arrive as it can't maintain it indefinitely if there is no baby and hcg. I wish someone had more answers for you as I know the waiting is awful. You had a decent hcg yesterday though so there is still hope. Just hang in there xx
