Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Absolutely delighted for you lovely!!

Now what number cycle is this for you? What was your DTD strategy??

Tell me all the things.

SuchaJem · 30/06/2016 18:15

Starky I feel ill equipped to start a new thread! Would you like to start us off? Glad to hear everything is going well do you have a bump now?

FXSkip · 30/06/2016 18:16

Thanks snarky and jem!! So this was cycle 6 since coming off bcp so my cycles never really got settled (39,35,31,28,39) then I went on the holiday of a lifetime, forgot when I was supposed to be ov'ing and apparently conceived under the stars in the Maldives! So guys, book your flights Grin

SuchaJem · 30/06/2016 18:22

That is a magical tale Halo how's your oh take it?!

HepKestrel · 30/06/2016 18:22

Congratulations skip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marmite it is not too late for implantation. Implantation is 10-14dpo. Fx for you!

5tardusty · 30/06/2016 18:34

Wow congratuations skip, what a lovely story Smile

Havent posted in a while as not had much to say really. My last cycle was just 19 days, presumably anovulatory followed by an 8 day period. Currently on cd 20 and experiencing ewcm with a temp dip but no +opk as yet. I fear that this is another duff cycle. We'll keep trying anyway!

Mooseville · 30/06/2016 19:14

Yay skip congratulations!!!! We needed a BFP to boost our spirits... So pleased for you!

I am now going to google holidays in the Maldives, since that is obviously the answer to TTC!

nicky883 · 30/06/2016 20:15

Conglatulation fxskip ! Cleraly relaxing and holidays is the answer !!

Kathrino · 30/06/2016 20:16

As tends to happen all too frequently, I fell off the thread but so excited to check in today and see a lovely BFP! Congrats skip, so happy for you!!

FXSkip · 30/06/2016 20:21

Ha ha thanks everyone! Yea...,OH was certainly surprised. Hopefully he'll come round in the next 32 weeks...

InspectorPenguin · 30/06/2016 20:34

Congrats Skip!! Star Star Star

First time I've been able to log in this week and am so happy for you! I actually welled up a bit reading your post with the photo Blush

What a fantastically strong bfp!
Had you tested before today in this cycle?

I am just about to end cycle 4 since coming off the pill and am very encouraged to see you've had similar patterns to me with cycle length. Sadly I don't have any opportunities to have a holiday during FW bit will plough on :)

Huge congratulations again, hope you and your OH enjoy all the excitement before the panic sets in! Grin

twinkydink · 30/06/2016 21:20

Congrats skip so happy for you. Still been lurking on here hoping for some BFPS!!! I haven't been very active on the grads threads for various reasons but keep checking in on here to see how you are all doing!

bluebird3 · 30/06/2016 22:35

Congrats skip! That's a fantastic line. Well done. Smile

jem- can you put me down for 20th of July. Not too hopeful as my bloods results weren't super positive, but there's always a chance. Not really trying anymore...just waiting for dh to have his SA and then the fertility clinic referral...will likely be a few months.

No news from snowdog? I'm hoping it's because her IUI was successful and she's found a home in a grads thread somewhere.

HepKestrel · 01/07/2016 06:08

I can't add to the bfps..... Cd44 and bfn here.

marmitetoast1 · 01/07/2016 07:35

Haha love the TTC advice, skip, wonder if we can extend our road trip around Tuscany for another few weeks to coincide with next fertile week?!!
Tiniest amount of brown spotting again last night (sorry tmi) but nothing since. Another bfn this morning. Hmm i thought IB would be red?? Probably just a false start on the AF front, just when I thought I might be getting a 'normal' cycle length! Envy

Evergreen17 · 01/07/2016 08:15

OMG Fxskip get your bottom to the grads right now GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Evergreen17 · 01/07/2016 08:16

About bloody time for a BFP here! Come on lucky thread!!!!!! SmileSmileStarStarStar

HepKestrel · 01/07/2016 08:51

marmite IB is typically (but not always) older blood, as in more brown - dark red.

LisaTheSimpson · 01/07/2016 08:54

Congratulations, Skip, that's amazing! I'm so pleased and chuffed for you, lovely!

Wishing you a very happy and (no-sickness) pregnancy)

Thank you all so much for your kind responses!! Feel like I've just told all my mates, so lovely to have all your support. I hadn't tested until l, I just randomly came across an OPK at work and thought what the hell, then stopped by Sainsburys on the way home for a proper test (not even FMU or FRER) I've only taken one, was going to wait a few days before taking the other one!! I'm going to wait a bit before going to grads, this all still doesn't feel real!

SuchaJem · 01/07/2016 09:16

Please stick around skip no need for grads to leave from my perspective xx

LovelyFishy · 01/07/2016 09:28

It's lovely having grads around, reminds us that it does happen! Grin

So I went to the doctors yesterday and got the ball rolling regarding not being pregnant yet. I get to have bloods and DH gets a cup, but before we get to fertility clinic stage our area wants us to try naturally for 2 years! Still I'm glad I got things going, even if it's freaking me out a bit!

LovelyFishy · 01/07/2016 11:22

Ok, I'm rally confused. This should be my last day of FW and I decided to do an opk. No idea why today as I've not done one for the rest of this cycle. There isn't even a hint of a second line!! Does that mean I ovulated early or I haven't yet???

LovelyFishy · 01/07/2016 11:22

Teehee, rally. I meant really. Grin
