Hi all, thought I would start a new thread before we capped the earlier one. Here's hoping for more laid back BFPs and a bit of OT chat.

Everyone welcome, waiting to try, TTC, not preventing, being hopeful, and trying not to flip the fck out squinting at lines on sticks.

I had a sore back at 6dpo and 7 dpo.

I've been testing every day so far, af due in5 to 7 days.

Morning all. I've stayed away from reading and commenting here for a while as I found it was doing everything but make me relaxed TTC (not anyone on here just me thinking about it 24/7). I have symptom spotted and read into every little difference in my body in hope only to be disappointed by BFNs. This month I decided to try the Clear Blue fertility monitor (luckily leant to me) and not think about it. I've eaten what I wanted, drank, not over thought anything. This morning I've had my BFP!
totally elated as suffered a mc last year and this would be my first (already a stepmom).
I don't want to gloat as its awful ttc but I wanted to share that this time I had no symptoms, so don't over think it!

I did an early internet cheapie this morning at only 11dpo, BFN as expected, but means more guilt free prosecco this evening and I don't feel bad about the copious amounts of wine yesterday! Not that I really would anyway, even if I AM pregnant (which I don't think I am), it would be far too early for any drinking to matter. Temps are still up, but I'm expecting AF as scheduled on Wednesday.

Congrats NJ! Fab news, and well done on staying relaxed and not symptom-spotting.

Still no sign of AF here so I'm now late. I won't be too disappointed if it's not our month as its only cycle 1 but I'm frustrated at the wait as I thought I'd know one way or the other by yesterday as I was expecting either AF or a BFP, but I got neither! I'll test tomorrow morning if AF hasn't made an appearance today. I'm feeling really nauseous this morning but that's probably due to the rich food DH cooked last night and the couple of glasses of wine I had rather than a pregnancy symptom!

Congrats NJ. Looking forward to seeing a picture of the bfp!

Thank you everyone. Feel like I've been waiting forever! Trying to not get too excited yet though as was at my 12 wk scan last time I found out about mc so 'trying' to stay grounded. (If that's possible lol). Good luck testing tomorrow twocats.

Wow that's a great BFP! What cycle were you on? I'll keep everything crossed this one is sticky for you

4th or 5th cycle post mc. It took me 6months to conceive the first time but we weer not properly trying. I've not done ovulation tests or temping or anything until this last month when I gave the CB fertility monitor a go (just for peace of mind I was ovulating). Never expected success first month so a genuine happy surprise!

Spotting three days before AF is due, utterly crap!! I don't think implantation bleeds are very common at all, so it's far more likely that AF is on the way a couple days early, so onward to June!

I think I'm out too, no AF yet but I've got some cramps going on and have been feeling down all day so it's likely to be PMS.

I logged on hoping to see a BNP and we've got one, congratulations NJ! I'm also hoping to be a bit more relaxed during this cycle but easier said than done.
I'm on cd5, just waiting for fertile window to come along

Sophie glad you got back safely. Sounds like you had an awful experience. Sorry I haven't been on much I just needed a little break from the Internet as I was literally obsessing and reading stuff day and night. How are you?

NJ that's an amazing BFP congratulations!! That fertility monitor sound like something I seriously need in my life! Could you please explain how it works? I've done a little research but I just don't really get how it works, like do you have to buy the sticks as extra? I'd really value your feedback as it seems like something that would help me pinpoint ovulation which has always been a massive issue. Congratulations once again :)

Alexia Hey! How are you? Yes it was pretty rubbish. I felt so ill today and yesterday. Had the worst migraines and sore throat and generally feeling rubbish so I think any symptoms I have had are probably down to that. I POAS yesterday and it was a BFN but it was probably too early. Oh no! I have been googling manically as well but lack the self-restraint you have! I'm just so impatient and want to know either way. I am going to wait until later on in the week though. I have had sore boobs and been very emotional which is usually a sign AF is on it's way so it may get here before I can test.

Thank you everyone. I've actually had no symptoms this time so I wouldn't get carried away symptom spotting. Fingers crossed lucky tests come soon!

The fertility monitor is great alexia - it tracks 2 different harmones so can tell you when you're at high fertility as well as peak (when you release an egg). The monitor is around £100 although you can get 2nd hand on eBay. The sticks were £35 a pack which should last 2 months. You set it on the first day of your cycle then switch it on each morning and it tells you whether to pee on a stick or not. It stores all your information so gets to know your cycles. This was my first month using it so if recommend! X

Well, it wasn't AF after all, just a tiny bit of pink when I wiped over the course of a couple hours yesterday, and nothing this morning (I was expecting to wake up to AF), so I do wonder what's going on. Might do a test with smu just to allay my hopes.

Still no sign of AF here, was due two days ago. I'm usually regular as clockwork so it's strange that I'm late but I've not been off the pill long so it might be that my cycles are a bit messed up and I didn't ovulate when I assumed I did - I'm tempted to try temping next month so I can have a bit more clarity.

I don't think I'm pregnant based on the BFNs I've had this weekend so just want AF to arrive so we can get onto cycle 2!

I'm in exactly the same position as you twocats! Waiting for AF but no sign yet... It's so frustrating waiting isn't it?! I just feel on edge and same as you impatient to start cycle 2! I've worn nice pants today to see if that works haha! Only cd33 so not that long really it's just having had lower back ache and pmt type cramps for a week now I keep expecting something! Also worrying that my cycle is going to go totally haywire after so long on the pill! I did get AF last month though at 37 days so hopefully she'll arrive soon... I've also had a few bfns this weekend!

marmite you put a * at the start and end of the word/sentence in bold.

It's only CD29 for me so not late at all by most people's standards but I've had regular 27 day cycles both times I've come off the pill in recent years. Just realised I've not got any stuff in my bag if AF does arrive though so I might have to nip out to Boots later for some tampons and some more pregnancy tests to cover both bases!
