Hi all, thought I would start a new thread before we capped the earlier one. Here's hoping for more laid back BFPs and a bit of OT chat.

Everyone welcome, waiting to try, TTC, not preventing, being hopeful, and trying not to flip the fck out squinting at lines on sticks.

Annoyingly though, I don't know whether I can have a drink tonight! Might have one tonight and then if AF arrives tomorrow I can have a few more :)

Friends staying with us are our closest friends and we have told them we are TTC so at least there won't be awkward questions to field if I'm not drinking.

Sorry about the BFN twocats. Symptom isn't spotting is a dangerous game. But like you say you're not out yet!!

AF is well and truly on her way for me so looks like I'll be on cycle two. I'm not actually that bothered, other than it looks like my luteal phase was really too short this month, but I'm going to put it down to a difficult and tiring month.

I'm feeling a bit crampy today so AF could definitely be on her way. I'm not too fussed about not conceiving this month, it's only cycle 1, just annoyed I couldn't read he signs as last time I just 'knew' from about 5dpo. And with DS being December birthday and then Christmas and NY shortly after then Feb would be a better month anyway. Although an end Feb due date could mean DC shares my birthday!

Sorry about the BFNs and imminent AF!

Still nothing from me - temp gone up rather high this morning, which doesn't really happen for me, but who knows if it's a positive sign or not, it could just be a one off, we'll see tomorrow if it happens again or if it's back down to the normal range for me.

Welcome happybus. Sorry for bfn's and AF's. Wispa that looks like a good temp chart, fingers crossed! I'm cd3 so not much happening. Still unpacking boxes from the move, DH's sisters wedding tomorrow so looking forward to the weekend. Happy Friday everyone.

BFN this morning so it's doubtful I had IB. I feel down but it's not over as I still have 11 long days to go until AF is due:(

Am just about to go on amazon to buy opks and was wondering if any of you could give me a good recommendation or let me know of any opks that weren't accurate or effective?

Ooh I have also just been considering buying some opks online so will read responses to this with interest! Cycle 2 after 14 years on the pill so no idea what my body is doing!!

I used one step opks from Amazon and got a positive when I expected one

Hi everyone not a good day here- flight delayed by six hours and potentially cancelled so already spent 3 hours in airport and now another four to go. Not feeling good but think it's more to do with flight nerves.

Super emotional and couldn't sleep the last two nights. Think that's more to do with the flight though! Only 6dpo so too early for anything to be linked to implantation.

Alexia it's not over until it's over! It could just be too early! How are you feeling otherwise?

jenny I got mine from eBay as they were cheaper! Can't remember what brand though- ill have a look. I can't recommended them yet as I haven't started using them a far!

Hey Sophie hope your day got better and you were eventually able to fly home safely!? How are you feeling now? My cramping has returned but other than that I'm trying not to symptom spot or get my hopes up.

Hope you got home safely Sophie. Here is an example of how crazy TTC can make you. My coil is still in, doesn't come out until Tuesday. Was sorting out some of the house today (preconception nesting!) and found a pregnancy test. Thought, what the hell I'll give it a go. Of course I got a BFN, but was so utterly disappointed. So ended up feeling rubbish and wasted a test!

Alexia we landed at half 11 so in total a seven hour delay and nine hours at the airport. We won't be home until 3am. After today I strongly doubt any egg is going to find my body a hospitable place :(.
What with the stress, bad eating habits today and my migraine tablets I just can see it happening. Also having no symptoms anymore. Feeling very tired and emotional!

I have managed not to get too sad, I feel quite pleased. My DP still knew something was up and asked me lots of questions and said he wants to know when my FW is so we can concentrate on ttc a bit more. Which considering he didn't really want to know all the details before is very sweet of him.

This cycle I'm going to try preseed and evening primrose oil as I had a lack of ewcm last cycle.

Hello all, hope all is well. I haven't been logging on for a while as I wanted to stay relaxed.

Sorry to hear there are some BFN and AF visits, hope we will all get our BFP soon.

Another BFN for me today, but no sign of AF either. The friends staying with us said their BFP didn't show up until two days after AF was due so I'm still holding onto some hope!

How's everyone else getting on?

Still feel out of sorts. Stomach cramps, backache and dizzy spells persist and my AF only last 3 days so not sure what's going on. Dh's got it in his head that this month might be the one, as we dtd the day before AF arrived so is hoping his swimmers lasted longer than my 3 day AF to have been able to impregnate me. Did tell him the chances of that are unlikely but we still have my fertile window coming up soon so who knows.

SoozC Thank you! Home safe now. That sounds like a good plan! I used to take EP oil.

jenny Is it worth testing just in case?

I am now 7dpo and no symptoms here. Still bloated and have sore throat but don't think that could be linked to implantation etc. Bought tests today so that they are ready for when we may need them but don't think it's going to be this month :(.

Sorry for people who's biatch AF has turned up, those with bfns you aren't out until AF gets you!

My cm has gone the same way it normally goes a few days before AF so I'm thinking I've not caught this month

So I just got excited and POAS...BFN :(. I am only 7 or 8dpo so I know it was unlikely. I am going to be restrained and not test until the latter end of next week now as this could drive me mad!

In other news I have the worst backache which is what I usually get before AF but AF isn't due until next friday. So AF may come really early which makes my cycles way too short :(.

sophie I got bad backache at about 7-8 dpo as well. No idea if it's a sign of anything, jury's still out on whether I'm pregnant or not! Still no AF and was due today.

twocats When are you planning to test?

I'm very confused because I have sore boobs, bloating and backache as well as headaches. BUT I get all that anyway before AF.
