Hi all, thought I would start a new thread before we capped the earlier one. Here's hoping for more laid back BFPs and a bit of OT chat.

Everyone welcome, waiting to try, TTC, not preventing, being hopeful, and trying not to flip the fck out squinting at lines on sticks.

No sign of AF and it was due today so will see if it arrives this week before deciding whether to take another test.

TheresaMarie I have a spot on my cheek, at least the moustache will cover it up. The shop is in a student-y zone but I think most of mine have finished their exams and hopefully headed home. May bury it under a pile of respectable looking items.

Ah okay Wispa- I didn't know how many days dpo you were and it has been a symptom of a couple of my friends! Sending good baby vibes your way anyway!

I'm having a strawberry magarita after taking a dip in the salt water pool! I think I'm out this month so might as well enjoy myself! Hope everyone is having a good day!

Sophiebear A saltwater pool? That sounds delightful. It's been gorgeous here and I'd much rather be wading in the (admittedly frigid) sea than stuck inside marking essays.

I'm starting to think I might have got lucky this month, had cramps for about 12 hours yesterday at about 8dpo and I've been feeling a bit queasy and exhausted today, and my boobs have been tender for a couple of days now. Going by all of that and based on last time I'd say it was pretty likely I'm pregnant but I don't trust my body any more as my hormones have been all over the place since I had DS. Trying not to get my hopes up too much.

dynia, a pack of dettol wipes is the most inoffensive thing I can think of! Should be big enough to hide the hpt pack too!

Just told a dear friend we are ttc and wish I had some more definite news to tell her, not just "maybe one day".

Sounds amazing Sophie! Very very promising there twocats. I'm wishing time away for you there so you can test!!! Are you still waiting a while to test? I've had nothing definitely yet but I'm only about 5dpo so I wouldn't expect anything for a good few days yet based on how I was last time!

I am going to try to hold out until Friday to test, I work Mon-Thurs so that will be a good distraction but there's no way I'll be able to in the house all day on Friday and not test! That might still be early as AF not due until Sat but I don't think I'll be able to hold out any longer!

You'll be fine on an early response the day before AF is due! I'm a SAHM so I spend way too much time obsessing whilst DS is asleep!!!

The weather has been lovely here today so we've been out in the garden all day.
Did another CB digi this morning and it's moved on to 2-3 so that's reassuring, I'm still not ready to move on to a January antenatal thread, I think when I see a 3+ I may take the plunge but the mc last year has really shook my nerves so we'll see. Hoping to have a few of you to hop over there with soon!

Ah, nice to see the weeks developing, I'll bet, buffalo! Do stay, we should have some more bfps next weekend! I don't think it'll be mine though!

I'm classing myself as 2dpo now but could be anything between 6 and 2dpo. Figure if i class myself as 2dpo I know 100% I'm late once I get to 14dpo x

So my fetile window is super late this month. I'm using clearblue dual hormone digi opks and I have just had to high days and am expecting a peak today. Have also had a temp dip so that makes sense. But what gets me is that last month I was peak on CD15 and ovulated at CD17 but I'm already on CD18 so this is going to be a super long month I hate the waiting.

Congratulations buffalo must be nice to see! rausten, I don't OV until around cd22 so I know what you mean about the longer waits! I find waiting to OV much easier than the TWW though. Gives me longer of a break each month not to be obsessing about being pregnant I guess!!

This is true sunny!! My husband goes away on sunday for a week so I'm so glad all the timings worked out. Just think that if I'm impatient now, i dread to think what I'm going to be like in 2 weeks lol xx

Well AF arrived this morning and I'm gutted to say the least. Part of me is still hoping that it's implantation bleed, as it's fairly light but deep down I know it's not happening this month.

Rausten glad your timings worked out. I was the same the month I got my BFP. OVed on the Wednesday and went away at weekend!!

Took the test yesterday and negative, although AF is still MIA. Had tried my hardest not to symptom spot (despite pretty severe nausea from Wednesday onwards and had gone off tea which is unusual for me) and be realistic but I think I got my hopes.

A bit down today and wondering where my period is as I've always been incredibly regular.In hindsight, it's probably for the best, I need to finish up this dissertation and need all my energy for that.

Aww, sorry Jenny, it's rubbish. I'm such a planner and am finding it hard that this isn't something you can control / plan for.

I had virtually no symptoms yesterday, was really hoping for some to start again today but nothing. Until just now when I was turning to get something and had three seconds of really strong dizziness. But I am readying myself for af. I know all these symptoms can mean nothing. I didn't test this morning as I just can't stand to anymore. Not until next week when af is purposely late, if she is.
