Original relaxed thread: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2537105-relaxed-ttc-feb-march-april-2016

Hi all, thought I would start a new thread before we capped the earlier one. Here's hoping for more laid back BFPs and a bit of OT chat.

Everyone welcome, waiting to try, TTC, not preventing, being hopeful, and trying not to flip the fck out squinting at lines on sticks.

Fingers crossed NJ.

I hate this bit cd 6, and feel a bit in limbo waiting. Is anyone on this thread ttc number 3?

happysunshineandrainbows · 19/04/2016 21:32

Hi - I'm TTC for #3 (when made will probably be a 3rd daughter!!)
I'm 27,
CD20 (25 day cycle)
Cycle 1
Testing 24th April (will probably up up POAS on Friday or Saturday as my mum is down and it would be lovely to say I'm pregnant in person
TTC #3 (DD 7 years and DD 3 years - 2nd and 8th Feb respectively)

happysunshineandrainbows · 19/04/2016 22:48

So I've been having done weird pull-y pains in my lower tummy but recently some absolutely bonkers dreams...wonder if they're a sign

ZoeNotAMumYet · 20/04/2016 00:26

Hello! Sorry to join late but can I jump on as a waiting to try? Haven't read through yet but will do. Good luck everyone xxx

ZoeNotAMumYet · 20/04/2016 00:29

Ps Zoe, 30, ttc #1, will be trying 2017

TheresaMarie55 · 20/04/2016 06:56

I'm TTC number 3 sparkle Smile . I have a dd age 3 and dd age 1 . I also have a DSS age 13 . I only came off the pill about three weeks ago so hard to tellcif what I'm having is a proper cycle really but my AF I got a few days after coming off definitely wasn't like a withdrawal bleed. It's looking like I ovulated around cycle day 10 though so have possibly missed my window. DTD that day but not the days running up x

SoozC · 20/04/2016 13:25

I'm out, freakishly early AF got me today. Am totally gutted, having such a bad day, feel like crying but have to hide it as am at work.

cheesemumma · 20/04/2016 13:45

oh Sooz that's rubbish i'm sorry. Flowers I was exactly the same when mine started. I had a little cry/tantrum in work loos! Then pretended not to! Hope your feel better later. have a cry when you get home and then hve a chill out, cheese and a bottle of wine. xxxhugs

TryingToStayRational · 20/04/2016 14:22

Flowers Sooz sorry to hear that. This whole business is so stressful - I've been in a right old mess at times lately. Hope you soon feel much better. You're not alone.

sparkle789 · 20/04/2016 14:38

Sorry to hear the sooz.

Theresa and happy, do you ever have a bad day with the kids and get scared about a third? Dd2 has been a nightmare these last couple of days and I still really want another but it's made me a bit nervous!

SunnyDays1987 · 20/04/2016 16:37

I'm so far behind on this thread now. Sorry to hear AF got you Sooz, it's such a crappy game sometimes.

sparkle I've only got one and sometimes I have days where I think why the hell would I want to do this again!!

CD2, first cycle, so not much to report here at all!

Welcome to all the new people. Anyone testing soon?

RosieposiePuddingandPi · 20/04/2016 16:58

I'll be testing somewhere between the 27th and 29th - Ovia is saying to test on the 27th but AF isn't due until the 29th so I'll likely wait till then to save any heartache over an early BFN.
Only 9 days to go!

rausten · 20/04/2016 17:07

really sorry sooz it really is rubbish when the AF gets you!!!! I'm knackered, work and then me and DD went to the zoo and macdonalds. She really wears me out sometimes lol. DH is away today so it's just me and her.
welcome to all new comers, look forward to hearing about some BFP's soon xxxx

happysunshineandrainbows · 20/04/2016 18:26

Sorry sooz, that is rubbish, hugs XThanks

Sparkle - I do haha! I'll have to make sure I have plenty of wine haha!!

TheresaMarie55 · 21/04/2016 06:39

Flowers sorry AF got you sooz, hope you're feeling OK today .

I sometimes wonder if I'm crazy having another and wonder if it would be better to wait a while. My DDS are only quite young themselves but I absolutely love being a mum and the good days definitely outway the bad. Although its been hard sometimes I've loved the gap between my girls but have aimed for a slightly bigger one this time. X

daisysunshine2 · 21/04/2016 07:25

Sorry AF got you Sooz Flowers

I sometimes wonder if I'm doing the right thing TTC when DS (8 months) has a bad day/night/week... but I want them close together and the majority of the time it seems like a good idea Grin

SunnyDays1987 · 21/04/2016 09:37

I think you're brave daisy, I could no way have entertained it at 8 months, but in someways I think it might be easier. The very early newborn days will be out of the way before the terrible twos properly start I guess?!

SoozC · 21/04/2016 15:40

Thanks all. A hard day today again, especially when a colleague brought in her one month old baby. Going home to eat Chinese and drink wine!

sparkle789 · 21/04/2016 16:25

I feel reassured that I'm not the only one who sometimes thinks am I mad?!
Dd2 is just so trying atm, I keep telling myself it's a phase!

I can't believe how slow this cycle seems I'm only on day 8, and it's dragging.
I don't have a clue when I'm due to ovulate and don't want to use opks yet. When I used them last time I got a bit obsessed.

cheesemumma · 22/04/2016 06:21

ugh. Someone at work just said. 'oh god, my periods late if i'm pregnant i'll die'
life's not fair sometimes hey! Mother nature just loves rubbing it in your face.

cheesemumma · 22/04/2016 06:22

how are you doing NJ? Hope you're ok.

daisysunshine2 · 22/04/2016 08:02

Thank you sunny Smile I've always wanted them close together and would rather get the baby bit out the way... I love newborn snuggles and cuddles but DS is so much fun now he's crawling and interacting and I know he'd love a buddy to play with 😊

Been having crazy crazy dreams and unable to sleep.. very unlike me! 6dpo..

daisysunshine2 · 22/04/2016 08:04

And cheese those comments are the worst Sad DS took 16 months to conceive and a mc... I hated people who made those throwaway comments!

SunnyDays1987 · 22/04/2016 08:53

Are you planning to stop at two then daisy? Yeah definitely an appeal to getting the baby days out of the way quickly! They do get so much more interesting with every stage. DS is 15 months and he's great (most of the time....!!)

That must have been irritating cheese but everyone is in a different stage of their life I guess!

SoozC · 22/04/2016 13:01

I know what you're saying, Cheese. I awoke to find a newborn baby photo someone had WhatsApp'd to me late last night - argh! She conceived first cycle too, and wanted it to take ages!
I have been counting my blessings this morning to remind myself of all the good in my life and sent my friend a lovely message to remind myself that I CAN be happy for other people's good news. After all, I want her to be happy for my good news when it happens!
But it will drag me down if I let it. So I'm determined not to let it! Strength and baby dust to us all :)
