We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Hi ladies - first month of charting my bbt and even then I only started in the past week or so, more for the craic then anything else! Too much peeing in pots so I needed something else to add into the mix .

AF is due on Sunday - when do you guys notice a drop in advance of AF? Is it a few days beforehand are pretty much just before??

PS> On the tea front ... I get my Mum to post me over tea from Ireland, it's 10x stronger than UK tea

Aw Hep - I know that feeling. Am hoping for my normal 30 day one, I'm due on Sunday; but I've had random 35 day-ers and don't fancy waiting around until end next week!

I've only been temping for about 3 months Celi, but in my experience the drop in temp has been 1 or 2 days before AF, though closer to 1 really. It's a bit crap because I keep my hopes up with continuing high temps, and then bam - the temps drop and the bitch shows up, despite my google attempts each time to search 'low temps but still bfp'. Still, at least this way I know if I've had a chemical pregnancy or something I guess ... and I do find it fascinating how the body changes during each cycle.

Hep, hoping for a shorter cycle for you at least. It's not funny when it drags out ... I get crazy if mine goes to 28 days as I'm usually 26, so I can't imagine how frustrating 39 days must feel.

Hi all 😊 Sorry I've been mia. I'm 2-3dpo and having a "really can't be assed" cycle. I'm due af again at the ending the month I think around the 26th. No temping or opk. Dtd twice in the 3 days before I was predicted to O. His potentially low motility and my low AMH means I doubt it'll happen without serious intervention. We are doing all my paperwork and interviews for immigration from here now which is great, im focusing on that at the moment. Plenty to keep me busy! Hope you're all doing well, congrats to any bfps and hello to newbies, and how many of us are still not grads after joining in December? Not many of us left?

Snow - I've been trying since December but haven't been on the thread that long, I don't think anyway! Time seems to have completely stopped for me now!!

No he hasn't lovely and he wouldn't like it very much I don't think. He's very much our baby, sleeps in our bed, lies upside down in our laps, loves being carried around. He's quite clingy. I don't think he would like being second fiddle to a baby...

Celi temp drop for me is 1 day before usually. It at least saves me wasting tests!
Jem we left our cat out in the garden for the day while we moved. She was happily sleeping somewhere oblivious to it all!!

Ps...the weird symptoms was from taking two doses of coq10 in the morning...apparently it can cause low blood pressure.. It's being researched as an alternative to high blood pressure meds! started taking one in morning and one at night and feel fine today. Just proves these supplements do make changes to the system....and that Dr Google is alive and well!

Jem so far no AF but it could come on Monday and still be a 28 days cycle so...
OH niece and nephew are coming to stay this weekend They are such cuties!!!!! I want some!!!!
But at least I will be distracted and if AF comes it wont be so bad as I will be having fun.

I'm new to the world of tea and coffee. Used to hate hot drinks - but I'm getting sold! I agree with strong though, although a double bag seems extreme!!

Managed a quick DTD this afternoon, possibly day after O but only one we'll get in this fertile week thanks to that stupid course! Fingers crossed it did the trick... Feel c relaxed about it though, no OPK or anything as I felt it wasn't going to be this month due to being away. Bet I still manage to freak out on the TWW!!

Jem I'm going to wait to see if AF arrives. Can't be doing with the disappointment or the faint lines and then af turning up.
However, I think I am in for a long cycle and I'm ovulating at the moment. Lots of cm, quite watery/egg white consistency and ive been getting lot of stabbing/pinching pains similar to when I ovulate today so best get dtd tonight!
We'll see what happens.

celi when I temp (I haven't for about 11 days now as cba) I get a drop about 2 days before af and when af arrives it goes straight down to normal. Which was why last cycle was so weird for me as it took ages to go back down!

I am on annual leave for a week now hurrah!

Let me join the tea debate: I LOVE tea! I do not drink coffee though - maybe this is why I was fine switching to decaff tea. Now I have one proper tea a day & the rest is a mixture of decaff and and Pukka teas like 3 cinnamon or lemon, ginger & manuka honey.

fishy any more spotting today or has it stopped? I spot exactly like that leading up to af. With IB it shouldn't last for more than a few hours so if it's stopped it could be a good sign. If you're still having brown spotting it might be af. Fx for you!

Opk experts I need help!! I'm on day three of testing with clear blue and I've had two days of the empty circle. Just done one this morning and I've gone straight to the non flashing smiling face, is this normal?!

My dp is away until tomorrow lunch time does this mean I'm screwed for the month? I thought I was supposed to get flashing smiling faces before the non flashing smiling faces?!

Opking is supposed to make my life easier not more confusing!

Fishy I spot every month before and after AF. The first couple of months I convinced myself it was implantation but now I know it's just my stupid body. However if it's not something you normally have it could definitely be a sign of implantation. My sister had IB and thought it was AF so she didn't actually realise she was pregnant until a month later. Fingers crossed!!
