TTC after miscarriage - lucky thread number 3

Hi and welcome AKP. I have heard about it too. feeling quite skeptical about it right now. It took us 2 months to fall the first time and we are now 5 months post m/c and no sign of me falling again. I don't know how much of it is just anecdotal.

It is hard Mimi. I found the ones due close to me particularly so. My due date was the 7th May, so fairly soon I will be past that. Which is another trauma in tiself. I was really hoping to be pregnant again before my due date as that one is going to be a sore one.

Cramps and pink when I wiped earlier. AF due on Wednesday. I am not feeling hopeful for this month. Not surprising given I was running a fever for the two weeks covering ovulation through until after implantation. I'd be surprised if anything survived that. Frustrating as we actually managed to DTD a good few times over ovulation despite me being so ill and it being the last thing I felt like doing.

Rant away Mrs. It is unfair.

While I don't think it should my temperature was a degree above my normal bbt for my LP. I can't felp feeling like I boild my egg and all DH's swimmers.

Thanks ladies. Tmi but had some dark yellow mucus earlier tonight which has been a precursor to spotting for me, nothing further though. Knicker checking brings back all my MC memories and the paranoia and helplessness. Trying just to accept that, and that it will be worth it to finally hold my baby in my arms. Planning to test again tomorrow in the hope of a darker line, wish me luck ..

Mrs rant away, it really isn't fair at all! I was saying to a work colleague today who's been very supportive as she's been through the same that it isn't fair. A girl I know fell pregnant and was smoking, drinking and using cannabis all through her pregnancy and has a lovely healthy baby and I did/do everything I possibly can to keep my beans alive and I end up with no baby at the end of it. It makes me sick to the pit of my stomach.
Hope you feel better soon, it's horrible being ill and not being at work overthinking everything. I've not felt great since ov, been having waves of nausea and dizziness, bunged up nose and sneezing think I'm getting a flu type bug as well. So so tired too.

Hey everyone. I sort of fell off the last thread when I got my first af since the mc. I felt like I wasnt in a good place for a few days but I'm now cd7 and feeling a bit more positive. I have really long cycles tho so I might not ovulate until cd 24 which seems ages away!

Congratulations to all the bfps, I hope they are getting stronger!

Oh ladies, it's so sad to read that we're all having similar feelings, but it's comforting to know I'm not alone or going mad.

Did a test this morning and it came up negative but the control line didn't appear so assuming it's a dud,but that in itself is annoying. I know deep down this isn't my month, so I just want to get AF over and done with now.

I'm in a super bad mood, need to snap out of it before DH gets back from work. Everything is bugging me, the cat is pissing me off! She's like a stalker. She rolled on my face at 4am and was meowing at the window so I let her out, I was really hot so left the window open a bit only for her to sit in the window ledge meowing again!
DD2 got up at 5.30 and let the cat back in, woke up to her furry bum hole right next to my face! She's been all round my feet, nearly fell over her I don't know how many times. Trying to have a wee and her paw is sticking through the crack in the door cuz she's trying to get in.
Peed off with the postman, he stood all over my lavender plants this morning and broke my solar light.
My nanny rang me going on and on about her new lover, she's nearly 70 for christ sake telling her 29 year old granddaughter intimate details I don't want or need to hear

Oh Amy, that made me giggle about your grandmother! Is your cat always a pest? If not, they often know when something is going on with you.

Amy sorry I had a chuckle at the cat too. And also at the postman stomping on your lavender, but that's because I read it as lavender 'pants' first time!! It's horrible when you're in that irritable mood, everything seems to get worse and magnify!

Mrs have you tried acupuncture? I was going to look into it just before I fell pregnant because a friend of mine had been trying for years and was on Clomid. She saw an acupuncturist and quickly fell pregnant. Now we've miscarried, I'm thinking about looking into it again.

Amy your post did make me laugh! Mrs I second acupuncture. Haven't tried it myself yet though but have been meaning to. I can't be bothered with work.

Ah! I forgot to mention that I have had two accupunture sessions since miscarriage in December. It seemed to have changed by ovulation day to day 18/19. Instead on 21/22.

It took 10 months to conceive miscarriage baby and on two cycles this time. So either you are more fertile post Miscariage or Accupunture is the way to go.

Ladies do you know if the NHS early pregnancy clinic will let me have an early scan after my miscarriage? We both excited and scared after last time.

Jo normally the cat is a bit irritating but usually she's all for my dd1 and rarely comes near me, today though she's just everywhere I turn. Get up and she follows me, cleaning the sink and she's in there, head down the loo while I'm trying to put bleach down. So bloody annoying! Reading my post back it was quite funny!

Mrs my husband works as a delivery driver for Tesco and my neighbour for asda, they're very impatient! They're only allowed 3 mins per drop! Doesn't help the customer, ring asda and complain I always complain about the Tesco drivers (unless it's my husband then I give him 5 stars ). They should at least call you if they're going to be early! Sending you hugs too, I'm sure your bfp will come soon xx

Flourishing im not sure if they will unless you have any bleeding. Best to check though they might do given previous circumstances.

Mrs we were trying for the best part of a year, I think it was longer but DH doesn't, maybe it just felt longer! Think I'm going to look into acupuncture.

Mrs have you got any opk's left? Use one and see if it's positive. That happened to me last month, had loads of cm and bit of spotting, I was actually ovulating late and found that the spotting meant it was a strong ovulation.
