The New Inmate is unhappy about the supply of hot water, which I used up doing about 10 leads of dishes and then she left a tap running in the bathroom. The Hairy Inmate is relieved to hear about the lack as he got to clear up the left over custard and has custard dried into his ear hair. No baths are good according to him. The Bald Warden has gone off to work to get peace. The New Inmate was taken shopping by the Short Warden and is happy to have got everything on her list.

Lots more food has been eaten and peace reigns.

Brenna you're updates are great! Smiles and laughs are what we all need Grin

5tar so sorry for your loss, hope you're feeling as well as you can be at this time Thanks

Tip run was completed on picking dd's up from school, they came in the van with us and saw a skip being picked up and were amazed! Went out with my mum and bought a gorgeous vanilla frosting Yankee candle, my house now smells like cake although it has given DH a mega appetite increase, he's not stopped eating and now wonder why he has belly ache. He's so slim and struggles to keep his weight up beached he gets intense pain when he over eats.

Off to bed now but I know I won't be able to sleep even though I'm really tired and can barely keep my eyes open. Always seems to happen after I've ov'd, does this happen to anyone else?

LuckyinOctober · 18/04/2016 23:03

amy I get insomnia after ovulation too. I also read on Ovia it can be common in the days after conception.

loki I'm so sorry you have a person in your life that lacking in character, decency, empathy and morality. You deserve so much better and hope you can rise above it, and that there are people in real life supporting you Flowers

betrayer of Loki your actions could have robbed all of us of a sense of sanctuary, dignity, safety and compassion which we can find here when we can't anywhere else. I know I feel less safe to post now too. If you've still been reading I hope you reflect on your actions and try to put right what you've done, starting by apologising to loki and respecting others from now on.

redstrawberries101 · 19/04/2016 03:03

I'm only on cd10 or so yet but had terrible insomnia last night and tonight also Sad

AmyB1986 · 19/04/2016 09:03

Cheeky and lucky again had a rubbish nights sleep, DH has taken the girls to school and has now gone on a roofing job. As soon as he walked out the door I burst into tears and now can't stop crying! I have no idea why I'm crying. I was watching everybody love Raymond, there was a flash back memory of his daughter being born and he's now dancing with her at a party at the age of 7, it just set me off! My friend is texting me about her dogs puppies that set me off, cats meowing at me now as well. She has food and water no reason for her to be near me. This happened last month though with the cat maybe I smell more vulnerable after ov to her I don't know.
Hope everyone's ok and not in floods of tears like me xx

Brenna24 · 19/04/2016 09:11

I hope having a good cry makes you feel better Amy

The Hairy Inmate is feeling cheeky this morning and licked the Bald Warden's spoon while Bald was eating his breakfast. The Short Warden was not very sympathetic and got the giggles. Discipline is lax in this joint.

Hope you managed to get some sleep after your 3am message Cheeky

Are you feeling any better Amy? I get emotional at all kind's of weird things - carnival atmospheres, any time the people on First Dates look like they're hitting off or one of them seems really lovely and in need of meeting somebody special and any other kind of emotional moment on TV. No idea why.

Laughing at your dog licking DH's spoon and lax discipline Brenna! My working day started off sitting on the sofa using a laptop in a very uncomfortable position because the Small Hairy Emperor decided he absolutely needed a human cushion to take a nap on. I'm technically self-employed but the cat may as well be my boss as I spend a lot of time catering to his many whims throughout the day

5tardusty · 19/04/2016 16:30

insufficiently First Dates gets me every single week! I love it when they get together.

AmyB1986 · 19/04/2016 17:34

Brenna your updates really make me smile.

Ic feeling a bit better but had a little cry again before I picked the kids up from school. The cat bought me a present, a live and absolutely massive magpie! I hate those birds even though they have gorgeous colours looking at them.
From all the tears I've got puffy eyes and a head ache now. DH has only just arrived home and has been burnt to a crisp from being on a roof all day. You don't realise how strong the sun is.

jpeg28 · 19/04/2016 17:50

Brenna your updates are hilarious!! Amy1986 I feel like I cry all the time! I get set off by anything... Mainly tv! Today I had to hold back the tears in a work meeting... After my MC they advertised part of my job without telling me. I pulled it together but was close to balling my eyes out!!
Hope everyone else has had better days!

LuckyinOctober · 19/04/2016 19:47

JPeg that sounds a bit out of order from your work - so do you then have to apply for your own job, or did you not want that part of it any more anyway? I'm not sure I'd have held it together in your position. Hope you're doing something tonight to look after yourself.

My temperature dipped slightly this morning, which could mean AF is on her way - I'm not sure my temperature reading was reliable though as I'd had another disrupted night's sleep, and had only been back to sleep for an hour when I took it. Weirdly I also had a small amount of EWCM first thing, not sure what that means? Will find out soon I suppose!

jpeg28 · 19/04/2016 19:52

Luckyinoctober I did still want the job! They have said they will now create a new job for me... It will be fine. I'm trying to relax about it as stress is not good for TTC!!

I need to get into the habit of BBT... I keep forgetting to take it. What does it do through your cycle? I'm a bit out of the BBT loop...

Since DH has been home I've burst into tears 3 times. I can't even explain why just feeling extra emotional today. Probably just hormones.

Mrs sounds like your progesterone is perfect.

Jpeg I take my bbt. Generally before ov your temps are lower than after ov you can see it clearly on the bbt chart. Mine jumps up around 0.2 degrees pinpointing ov to the day before the temp rise. Last month my temps were all over the place but this month they've been really stable, no massive highs or lows pretty much around the same level. According to my chart I ov'd on cd13 compared to cd18 last month. Puts me around 5dpo.

Brenna24 · 20/04/2016 09:20

jpeg that is awful. Have they told you what their plans are?

Have some more hugs Amy

The New Inmate has been moved on to her Bail Hostel. The Hairy Inmate is very tired but appears to be missing the extra Treat Dispenser. The Bald Warden went to work very early this morning. The Short Warden is on a course today which doesn't start until 10.

My temperatures went up from between 35.7 and 36.0 to 36.5 straight after ovulation. They then went down to 36.2 for 3 days, then back up to 36.5 for 1, down to 36.25, up to 36.5 for many days, then dropped down to 36.25 on monday. I assumed that that was the start of my pre-period dip an was a bit confused as that would have made my LP only about 12 or 13 days as opposed to 15. It stayed stable Tuesday instead of plummeting to 35.8 as I expected and today is back up a bit to 36.3. Today AF is due and I should be 15dpo. I am surprised not to have a dip. I had a HORRENDOUS cramp on sunday night and assumed that that was Af on her way. Now I am wondering if that was implantation. I got a tiny whiff this morning of a smell I haven't smelled since I was last upduffed. I did an IC to check and there may or may not be the faintest ghost of a line. It is really hard to say. So now I am wondering whether or not we are in with a chance after all. I am going to wait until Saturday or Sunday. If I have no AF by then I will test again.

Good luck Brenna!

I'm having all kinds of lower abdomen cramps and twinges this 2WW but that has become the new normal since mc so not reading anything in to it. The coffee aversion continues but it wanes throughout the day so a first thing cup of coffee makes me want to hurl but by the afternoon I'm fine again and can drink it. Been having weird twinges around my cervix, like little sharp twinges. The first time I used my mooncup I felt like I'd been twanged in the cervix by an elastic band and it is a bit like that but lasts a few seconds rather than a short twang. And yesterday I had one start there, shoot out of my vagina and down my leg. Most peculiar! 9dpo, trying to hold off until Saturday to test but I'll probably crack tomorrow...

AmyB1986 · 20/04/2016 15:51

Good luck Brenna!

Ic I've been having those weird feeling down there too, like I've got groin strain for a few minutes then it goes off.

I'm 6dpo now and started cramping up last night and this morning, quite tender. DH had gas and was rolling around the bed from about 6am but he didn't wake me up, I was dead to the world. Been having waves of nausea and a really off stomach too. Took my last lot of antibiotics yesterday so we'll see if it was them causing the upset stomach in a few days.

Weathers lovely here in Leicester again today. I went out shopping and got DH some new trainers he's been anchoring after for ages. While I was there I had a mad moment in boots. I have bought an array of different HPT's hidden then in the drawer under my bed so DH doesn't see them not that I plan to test but because if I do manage to get even a slight faint line ever on an ic I'll be taken a multitude of tests to convince myself my eyes aren't playing tricks on me.

So my stick pile now consists of:
70 IC's hidden by DH
2 frers from last month
2 clear blue + early tests.
5 boots cheapies
And 2 clear blue digi weeks indicators as well as the pg tests that come with the clear blue advanced fertility monitor my friend has kindly given me after falling pregnant cycle 2.

I'm crazy I know!

Fingers crossed Mrs xx

redstrawberries101 · 20/04/2016 17:09

Wow lots of potential BFP's! We've not had one in a while so hopefully they will come like buses! Ovulation is so confusing - really it means that you can fall preg anytime outwith your period and the few days leading up to it really.

Ovia tells me it's 3 days left to fertile window but we will dtd hopefully!

Brenna24 · 20/04/2016 17:12

Wow Amy that is an impressive stash. I have a pack of 10 IC which I think I have used 2 of but haven't counted, so probably 8. That is it. I hope your cramps mean something.

Fingers crossed Mrs.

1st day back at work. I have spent the day training in Microscope Image Processing. I know how to live it up.

Good luck brenna that sounds promising!! Fingers crossed for you!

I think work will be ok... They are now writing me a new job as I think they are scared I will say they are discriminating!

No idea what's going on with my body,.. First the faint positive, then the BFN... Then I have loads of weird cramps so I think af is coming... But no other symptoms, today I have this weird pale brown spotting (tmi sorry!) but only once then nothing! I'm guessing af is definitely coming.... Which I'm sort of happy and not happy about!

jpeg28 · 20/04/2016 17:37

Good luck Mrs too! Keep us posted!

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 20/04/2016 19:56

Just discovered that I have a 3yo niece that I had no idea about because my not very nice brother decided he didn't want anything to do with her. So sad at how disposable some people think children are Sad

Brenna24 · 20/04/2016 20:45

That is really sad IC some people do not deserve to be parents and it is the poor kid that suffers for it. Is her Mum happy for the rest of you to keep in touch now that you know about her?
