Loki I am so sorry.

Loki's stalker you are utterly pathetic, clearly you haven't got much going for your own life if this is how you entertain yourself.

I am due AF on wednesday too. I have been good and haven't yet tested.

In other news. The Hairy Inmate has accepted the New Inmate with no growling, menacing or threats. The Bald Warden is happily wandering around dispensing food to all and sundry. The Short Warden is confused and suspicious about the tranquility and suspects Bad Deeds are being plotted.

Thanks for filling me in MrsUnsure - so once you have follicles that are nearing 20mm, do they tell you to start DTD? Does Clomid encourage ovulation then? Were you not ovulating before? Or ovulating late? Since the MC my O seems to be all off, so I think my consultant has suggested it to regulate my O. I am losing hope to be honest. We'll see.

I have had 2 MCs so my consultant ordered lots of blood tests (10 in total) to check whether there was anything causing the MCs, but they came back negative so I am going to discuss with him on Wednesday what that all means.

Brenna! You do make me laugh. Are Hairy and New your pets? and Bald, your fella?? Have you got any symptoms this month or are you trying to ignore until Wednesday? I do admire your strength.

xx

Hairy is DDog, Bald is DH and New is my Mum who is here for the weekend. I was dreading it as DDog was an abuse case when I got him, is not great with any visitors and hasn't got on well with Mum in the past as she won't follow instructions and leave him alone. He is getting quite mellow and confident in his old age though and is behaving like a normal dog and has begged for treats and fallen asleep in a room with Mum in it. Mum has behaved and not chased his around shouting his name. He has thus even nudged her hands and got an ear scritch a couple of times. Wonders will never cease.

Sounds like your mum's visit is going better than expected Brenna. Glad to hear it.

Went to London yesterday as DP and I needed a trip to cheer ourselves up and had a lovely day pootling about on bikes and being bewildered by art. Although yesterday morning DP was mid-way through making coffee and the smell of freshly ground beans made my stomach turn. I LOVE coffee and the only time I've gone off it was when pg so then got all teary thinking my mind is playing tricks on me again. Recovered quickly though, getting better at this now. Currently 6dpo

AmyB1986 · 17/04/2016 13:36

Hi all hope you're all ok.

Brenna glad your visit is going well.

Mrs I hope you get some answers about the spotting you keep having soon.

Ic I went off coffee and tea from early on with all of my pregnancies and as the progressed the smell made me vom! Even now there's a certain perfume that makes me queasy. I was in town with my mum on Tuesday and a woman walked past with it on and I had to cover my mouth, poor woman must have thought she had something on her shoe the way I reacted Confused.

I now have a really bad uti caused by too much dtd grrr Angry have some antibiotics from the walk in centre after waking up at 2.30 with what I can only describe as contractions in my bladder! Taken two and the pain has gone off enough for me to be able to move at least. Opk's have turned negative this morning but fertility friend is saying I'm already 3dpo by temps but by opk I'm 1dpo. A little confused with that but with both, the timing analyser is saying we have a high chance of conception so the uti is worth it. And the waiting game begins!

MissClarke86 · 17/04/2016 14:21

Loki so sorry about what's happened :( How awful of that person.

I got a positive OPK today (Day 19) and am a bit worried it's so late. My last cycle was 28 days so it would make my luteal phase quite short and I've read that can affect fertility and implantation.

Also, the fiancé is "poorly" and not up for DTD (he's got a minor cold...) so I think that's another month wasted.

I actually got a bit excited...last time I found out I was pregnant it was a strong OPK that gave me the hint, followed by a pregnancy test. Definitely not this time though.

Mrs how are your progesterone levels after o? Do you think it could be lowering levels causing be spotting? May be worth investigating perhaps.

AmyB1986 · 17/04/2016 17:32

Mrs it must be so frustrating for you. What dpo do you have your progesterone tested at? Is there any leeway in that maybe having it tested at a later stage could give an indication as to whether it is initially high after o but then quickly falls again around 5dpo causing the spotting? Have they upped your dose of clomid?
Sorry a lot of questions.

Maybe it's the clomid causing it then, I know it can cause abnormal bleeding. What cycle days do you take the clomid on? There definitely some link there because you spotting 9-10dpo before clomid so it has to be that causing it if your bloods come back good.

redstrawberries101 · 17/04/2016 19:55

Mrs unsure sorry to hear the clomid/ spotting issues. The strength people are showing on this thread is incredible. Just got to keep persevering and praying for the best. Xx

Mrs that's the best thing to do. In the mean time though, although I know it's difficult try not to get stressed. It's good you're being monitored and know you're ovulating well now. Hopefully the clinic can shed some light on the situation and put your mind at rest.

I'm also really really confused as to what is happening with my body. My temp had a rise on cd14 indicating ov ,but my opk was neg cd13 but turned positive cd14 and was positive until this morning and has now gone negative. My cm was ew until this morning too and my cervix was open high and soft cd14-15, it's now tightly shut high and firm. I think I ovulated in the night last night the same time I woke up with what I thought were contractions in my bladder and ended up with an appointment at 2.30 at the walk in centre who said it was a uti. I do have a uti no doubt about that but the pains I had were more likely ovulation thinking about it.

I don't know I'm really confused and frustrated with my stupid, uncooperative body!

jpeg28 · 18/04/2016 06:07

I'm so confused too! After that possible faint line Saturday I decided it's two days later so if I test it should be darker... And I got a BFN... Couldn't be more negative. I guess maybe it was me seeing things, or even a tiny bit of hcg left maybe after the MC.

Now I have no idea what's going on with my body. I'm sure I've ovulated this month so I guess I just keep waiting for af... It's been 5 weeks now... How much longer can it take??

AmyB1986 · 18/04/2016 09:18

Sorry to hear that jpeg. For me from the start of my mc to my period it was 50 days. I did ovulate that cycle around 14-15 day before af came but like you I was very frustrated waiting for that long and was asking on here how long others have taken. Medical guidelines say 4-6 weeks after to expect your af but anything up to 10 weeks is considered normal. I really hope af shows up soon for you. For me it bought back a little normality.

This morning I've woken up with a horrible tugging sensation on my right side. When I lie down and gently press into my hip it's really quite sore, think I ovulated from that side this month. Have a few cramps again feeling like af is on the way already the same as last month. Planning a tip run today as we've had new blinds and there's all bits of wood all over the back garden that we're not allowed to put in the bin!
I got a wood floor steam cleaning too, excited to clean the floor with it ocd coming out!

jpeg28 · 18/04/2016 11:21

Thanks AmyB1986 I'm hoping af is coming to at least I can start to track again! So upset though as I read so many stories of women getting pregnant straight away after MC... Thought it would be me too.

Maybe you are having really bad ovulation pains... I hope you get your BFP this month! X

5tardusty · 18/04/2016 11:38

Hopefully being discharged from hospital in the next hour. Havent passed the sac yet but bleeding seems to have calmed down a lot.

Do i need to wait for the sac to pass to count cd1? Or do i use yesterday as the first day of heavy bleeding?

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 18/04/2016 11:46

From the first day of bleeding to date of next period was about the length of a normal cycle for me so I counted first day of bleeding as cd1.

How are you feeling 5tardusty? Do you have support when you're at back at home? I didn't really feel it emotionally until I got home and sat on the sofa. Returning to normal after everything just floored me. Take it easy Flowers

jpeg28 · 18/04/2016 11:59

5Stardusty I am so sorry for your loss. I counted cd1 as the day I passed the sack, I'm on cd38 now.

Make sure you take it easy, rest, and look after yourself.

Thanks
5tardusty · 18/04/2016 12:43

Yes DH and my family are being really good and nice to be home with my lummox of a dog! Think DH will go back to work tomorrow and hoping i won't be far behind him. Just feel in limbo-land at the moment.

I really hope everyone on this thread gets their positives soon. It's a cruel thing to happen to anybody

redstrawberries101 · 18/04/2016 16:55

Sorry to hear stardust, it's so horrible isn't it. I was ok-ish until I left the hospital and then I couldn't stop crying. I felt like I had left my baby behind v
