Bloody buggery Period came five days late! Never happened before and just found out my cousin is 16 weeks pregnant. V.sad as want to be happy for her but cant stop feeling jealous as we would have been due the same time if mine had stuck .

Brenna24 · 12/04/2016 22:06

Oxlady · 13/04/2016 01:25

Hi ladies, I was wondering if I could join in? I had a miscarriage nearly 6 weeks ago. It was an embryonic pregnancy but I had no idea until I started bleeding at exactly 12 weeks and then my scheduled dating scan the next day confirmed it when I was faced with a picture of an empty sac. It sucked big time, we were devastated but have come to terms with it. I am just wondering how long it took for your first AF after mc? I wanted to wait until my first one before trying again for dating purposes but we haven't exactly stopped dtd and although I would love to be pregnant, I don't feel it.

Pacothepidgeon · 13/04/2016 07:00

Hi everyone I'm going to have a wee break I think. I've taken the news I got last night pretty badly and it's just like I've been bereaved all over again so need some time to pick myself back up again.
I just wanted to say good luck to all the ladies in the tww. Huge amount of energy to dtd for those who are ovulating. Amy I hope you feel a bit better soon lovely. Jo and flourishing I hope you guys are feeling good too.
Xxx

redstrawberries101 · 13/04/2016 07:09

Hello Oxlady sorry for your loss... I'm coming up 5 weeks since mine, still no af. Doctor told me to call if I got to 8 weeks.

I've been using clearblue OPKs but decided that I think the flashing smiley is a lie!! Opened it up each day and today there was no second line at all. Think I'll just have to be patient.

5tardusty · 13/04/2016 09:54

Hello all. I am currently going through my first miscarriage and i am keen to get back to ttc asap. Got pregnant quickly last time so i'm very apprehensive about it, as i think as much as i try to manage my expectations, i will be disappointed.

I wanted to ask whether any of you experienced regualr spotting before your period even before your pregnancy? I usually spot for around 2-3 days before the period starts full force and i wonder if this has contributed to my ability to stay pregnant? I have read a few online accounts of people experiencing pre period spotting AFTER miscarriage, but i had this well before i ttc.

Flowers I hope you feel better soon Paco. These wobbles are normal.

Yesterday I took myself over to the antenatal thread for my due date for some unknown ridiculous reason. Photos of bumps and nurseries being furnished do not make for a happy afternoon reading. No idea why I did that to myself Sad

Welcome Oxlady and 5tardusty, sorry you both find yourselves here.

My first AF was 5 weeks after MC.

Only experienced spotting before period since MC, never had it before. Have you spoken to a doctor about it?

I have a positive OPK today but I'm fairly sure I ovulated yesterday, had twinges on the right hand side, a last surge of ewcm and now it has eased off a lot. Thankfully I should add, can take a DTD break now. DP and I tried for one last hurrah this morning but he kept getting cramp and so we gave up Blush

Sorry for repeat posts lately, I think it's my pc. Running slow so I get frustrated and click everything too many times!

Loki17 · 13/04/2016 18:13

So sorry, Paco. Come back when you are ready.
IC I've don't the same a couple of times. Don't ask me why. I end up feeling crap despite being happy for the ladies. I'm still on the dtd train. 7 times in 9 days and still going. Dh isn't complaining but I'm struggling to find the enthusiasm and energy. I daren't stop though. Not until CD 22 when I know it's all over.

MillieLikesSketty · 13/04/2016 18:35

Hope you're feeling better soon paco

Welcome oxlady and 5tardusty hope meeting people with similar experiences helps you!

Waiting for another blood test result to confirm my 2nd mc, turns out I was pregnant after all. I guess it's a good thing to be able to conceive 3 months after an mc I just have to be patient. Back to the dreaded waiting for AF

MillieLikesSketty · 13/04/2016 18:36

loki 7 out of 9, that is very good odds! Fingers crossed for you!

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 13/04/2016 18:36

Good on you for still going at it Loki. I just can't but I think I've given it a bloody good shot this month and now that ewcm has completely dried up I'm assuming that my fertile window is over. Don't get really good ewcm every month but on my BFP month it was like this cycle so fingers crossed!

MillieLikesSketty · 13/04/2016 18:41

Yay, positive news insufficient all my fingers and toes crossed for you!!!!

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 13/04/2016 18:44

Thanks Millie. Sorry to hear your news Sad
Hope your AF turns up nice and quick so you can move on

Loki17 · 13/04/2016 18:49

So sorry millie. Hope af doesn't keep you waiting. IC fingers crossed for you. Not tracking ovulation has left me feeling much calmer and less fixated, but it has also meant that I've felt the pressure to dtd just in case. I really hope it makes a difference!

MillieLikesSketty · 13/04/2016 20:29

Thanks IC and Loki, it does feel easier the second time, especially as it was so early. Onwards and upwards now!!!

HopefulKate1980 · 13/04/2016 21:24

I'm so sorry millie - glad you are feeling positive. Hope AF comes v quickly.

Welcome to the newbies! Sorry you are here.

loki you are my inspiration! I've told my DH that next month we are following your lead. He is up for it now but I know work always gets in the way. I can hope though! I'm gonna do my best!!

Fingers crossed IC

How are you brenna? Have you decided what to do re your mum & wine? Hope you are feeling ok.

I'm on CD20 at mo. Got cramps on and off, and back ache. Took a test this morning and it was obviously negative. I know I'm out this month. I just want AF to show up so we can start DTD and giving it our best bash.

Xx

HopefulKate1980 · 13/04/2016 21:47

oxlady I'm v sorry for your loss. I lost mine at 10.5 weeks just after a scan showed a healthy baby. It's heartbreaking. I'm so sorry. I had my period 7 weeks after my surgery. I got a negative on a pregnancy test just a few days earlier from memory. Have you had a negative yet? Hope you are ok x

Brenna24 · 13/04/2016 23:02

So sorry Millie.

Hi Hopeful. I have no idea what to do yet. I'll be either 11 or 12 dpo on sunday and I don't know whether or not it is worth testing as if it is negative I will be no further forward. Hopefully I can just distract her. I get the feeling the whole visit is going to be very stressful and right now I just cannot be bothered. It kind of scared me about becoming a mother. What if I never listen to my kids or respect their opinions or differences to me? What if I end up stressing them out and pushing them away? It is all very scary and maybe I ought to be glad that it may not be an option.
