Amazing news JoMalones gives me so much hope.
I'm loving Ovia already, says my af is due in 2 days but I'm guessing after the MC that's unlikely, hate all this waiting.

JoMalones · 09/04/2016 20:28

Thank you everyone. Celebrating being pregnant today with a massive bag of choc buttons. Not confident about tomorrow or the next day or the next but going to try to enjoy today!

Pacothepidgeon · 09/04/2016 20:37

Enjoy today jo Smile

HopefulKate1980 · 09/04/2016 22:36

Ah bless you Jo that is such great news, hope you are relaxing & feeling good. xx

redstrawberries101 · 10/04/2016 08:52

So happy for you Jo Smile

Brenna24 · 10/04/2016 09:04

I have a giant cold sore. I am getting sexier by the day. Sad

I've got the runs. Very sexy here too...

HopefulKate1980 · 10/04/2016 10:20

I ended up having about 4 glasses of wine last night as know I'm not pregnant due to weird CM. It was great to see my friends but they were all talking about when they are going to have a baby, as if it would be the easiest thing in the world and it probably will be for them but it made me very sad to think of all the pain I, and us all here, have been through. They don't realise how lucky they are.

Loki17 · 10/04/2016 11:06

Unless you have been through it you just don't get it, Kate, I know I didn't. Dh is ill. I'm going to have to use everything I've got to ensure dtd tonight. CD 12 so it had to happen.

jpeg28 · 10/04/2016 11:09

Just got my first positive OPK since the MC... So happy, feel like I'm finally getting back to normal.

I too had a couple of glasses of wine last night and feel really guilty. I didn't drink at all when I first started TTC. Hoping it won't hurt.

FlourishingMrs · 10/04/2016 12:27

Jo, that's brilliant news, did they also check the heart beat? That makes us around the same due date. 23rd Nov when is yours?

With regards to apps, tried fertility friend, Ovia and glow. I think glow is my favourite..

JoMalones · 10/04/2016 12:48

Flourishing, yes we saw the heartbeat but I don't know the speed. 28th Nov so a few days behind (although will be the week before all going well due to ELCS)

FlourishingMrs · 10/04/2016 12:57

That's great news Jo, we did get the heart beat measurements either, the woman said the flicker was so strong she didn't need to zoom the dropler? On to it because she knows from experience what it should look like.

I had full placenta previa with my son and had a csection. I hope they offer me one. I had my first one naturally so I have experienced both.

Stay positive and remember science is pretty new and does not fully understand the intricancies of creating a human being.

Loki17 · 10/04/2016 18:21

We took dd to see Disney on Ice today. It was great but I can't believe I have to go back to work tomorrow after two weeks off. I've worked from home for most of it but it isn't as exhausting as teaching. Hopefully we can still keep up with dtd!

obsessed1 · 10/04/2016 19:27

You're a teacher too, Loki? I have worried in the past when we struggled to conceive that it was the stresses of the classroom that was interfering with things. I am also back tomorrow and am resolved to try to be a little more relaxed about things, though I give it till Tuesday before I'm back to my usual self!!😁😁

obsessed1 · 10/04/2016 19:28

Huge congratulations flourishing on your good news! 😊

obsessed1 · 10/04/2016 19:31

jpeg it must be nice to know your body is beginning to recover. How long is it since your mc? I'm thinking of getting some opks next month if this one turns out to be unsuccessful. I tried some internet cheapies in the past and I gave up on them as I never got a positive. Do you use the cheap kind, or spend a bit more?

jpeg28 · 10/04/2016 19:43

My MC was 12 March so 4 weeks... I tested with the clear blue digital ones, but I've also bought some internet cheap ones as can't afford to keep doing clear blue! I really don't feel like I'm ovulating so kind of can't believe it. No other symptoms at all. I'll just keep dtd as much as possible in the hope that I am!

obsessed1 · 10/04/2016 19:49

Do you find the cheap ones as reliable as the clear blue ones? Good plan to dtd daily to be on the safe side!

jpeg28 · 10/04/2016 19:57

I'm not sure! Going to start tomorrow testing with both ( very expensive! ) just to see if there is any difference. Haven't used the cheap ones yet. I know when I used the clearblue ones last time I got pregnant straight away the first cycle I used them. That unfortunately was the MC but I am sure they helped

Loki17 · 10/04/2016 19:59

I'm certain that the stresses of teaching are counter productive because I end up knackered and can't be arsed to dtd. I've got 5 weeks of stress ahead of me but once the Year 11's are through their exam and all of my coursework has been sent to the moderator I can relax a bit and try not to think about results day!

Loki17 · 10/04/2016 20:02

I never got a smiley with the CB digital ovulation kits but did get a positive opk. I ended up experiencing a chemical last month. Opks make me stressed. I get upset when they don't turn pink when I think they should. I've given them up for my mental sanity.

Brenna24 · 10/04/2016 20:05

Glad you are getting back in the swing of things jpeg .

Between hayfever and a cold sore I am feeling very sorry for myself. We have lots of seeds sown for the allotment though and some plants in pots getting hardened off, so I have been productive anyway.

I find the cheap ones work really well for me.

I am also feeling the stress of returning to teaching tomorrow Loki17 it's a long half term!! It's hard not to get stressed especially in exam season... Good luck!

MillieLikesSketty · 11/04/2016 08:23

Very happy news JoMalones!! I've just been away for the weekend, dh at a stag weekend so I decided a treat was in order!! Please any advice (maybe TMI) DTD last night when he got back and I bled a lot after, like a lot, for about 10mins, bright red cd19. Just brown spotting this morning, any thoughts? My mc in January and had two very very light periods since. Appreciate any thoughts Smile
