Wow Paco DTD daily, what a trooper. Every other day here, think I've finally entered a fertile window (been DTD since cycle day 7 after mc, on CD24 now), plenty of EWCM etc...don't do opks, have been monitoring CM and temping which is good for confirming o, but means I do spend a couple of days of my fertile window trying to figure out what day I'll actually o and agonising whether to go daily instead of every other day (never end up steering away from every other day though, want the well rested sperm). For DD, I o'd 5 days after we DTD, for the mc we were bang on timing wise, going every other day, so figure I won't mess with the system.
Welcome obsessed sorry for your losses, keeping my fingers crossed for you. My only pregnancy symptoms were the bloaty full feeling and feeling soooo coooold - not noticed a breath smell symptom, but will run it by my cats next time...DH does notice my ahem 'pheromones' when I'm at peak fertility- seems my body wants to tell EVERYONE to come and fertilise me, and neither my DH or myself understand exactly what is meant to be so attractive about them. Clearly our noses have become more refined since caveman days!

Hi all I am feeling so thankful for finding such animated discussions after mc in January. Now ttc #2 and have just discovered ovulation sticks not sure on the abbreviation!! So happy to have all that other stuff behind me and sorry to hear all your other stories.

Brenna24 · 07/04/2016 23:24

Hi millie sorry you are in the club nobody wants to be in.

Can I join? I had a miscarriage back in February and I think I had one before in July as I recognised the symptoms. It was an early one, about 5.5 weeks. Now im three days late with exactly the same symptoms. I tested on the day my period was due but BFN . Yesterday all the symptoms arrived but I am just too scared to test as dont want to get hopes up for it to happen again. AIBU to wait until second missed period to test, then I will be mostly out of the woods?

Brenna24 · 08/04/2016 10:26

Hi Antonia. Sorry you are here. Waiting to test does mean you won't have all the dissapointments of BFNs. With the old less sensitive tests people didn't test until after the second missed period anyway. Your call if you can wait that long.

Sorry for your loses millie and antonia.
I think you do whatever will get you through. I'm the opposite as soon as I find out in pregnant im going to do my poor doctors head in. I've told him this though!

Well overnight my nipple hair collection has been added to. Got 4 or 5 new ones coming through to join the lonely post mc one Blush

Loki17 · 08/04/2016 11:08

I'm checking mine daily so that I can get the tweezers ready! CD 10 and lots of ewcm. Hoping that it's a good sign. It would mean an early ovulation though. I'm glad I haven't got any opks around I would absolutely crack today.

Pacothepidgeon · 08/04/2016 11:17

They weren't there yesterday loki I'm sprouting! Good for you chucking the opks

redstrawberries101 · 08/04/2016 13:25

Welcome to the new ladies and sorry you are here.

Yesterday I said I was very bloated but no farts but I've just been to the loo at work and let off as much air as a hot air balloonBlushBlush

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 08/04/2016 16:10

Grin at cheeky!
I swear laughing at the shared indignities of ttc on this thread is keeping me sane!

Tried dtd last night and this morning but DP couldn't finish so hopefully that EWCM is just an early surge and it's not over yet. He got hit by a car driver this morning while cycling to work which is literally my greatest fear come to life. Luckily he's OK just a bit shaken up. I'm going to be completely spoiling him tonight though

Brenna24 · 08/04/2016 16:22

IC that is terrifying (and the reason I will probably give up cycling for a bit once I am upduffed again). I'm glad he is ok.

Sorry Cheeky I'm laughing at you too. Glad you made it to the loo first.

OP posts:
Brenna24 · 08/04/2016 16:32

I shouldn't have laughed at you Cheeky. I've jsut been to the loo and done the same at work.

I'm undecided if I'll carry on cycling when pregnant again. I did last time but I modified my cycling - didn't go on busy roads etc. That and eating grapes constantly were the only things that helping morning sickness.

Probably will and do similar again. So glad he's OK. Was neither his nor the driver's fault. Another driver was being really aggressive towards DP, revving up behind him, passing close then waiting for DP to catch up etc and then suddenly stopped and opened his door partially. DP thought he was going to open his door in to him so went wide to avoid him but at the same time another car was pulling out of a side street obscured by the aggressive wnker and so DP went straight over her bonnet. Aggressive wnker then laughed at DP on the floor. The woman that hit him was really shaken up too, DP felt bad for her. She offered to drive him and his bike home but the police were on the scene really quickly so they took him to work (his choice, I'd have come home and cried all day!)

I'm always way more scared for him than I am for my own safety. I couldn't bear to lose him.

Your windy escapades are making me laugh though!

Brenna24 · 08/04/2016 16:45

What an absolute wanker. That makes me so cross. The poor woman that hit him too. I hope the police throw the book at him.

I really want to keep cycling, I want to stay as fit as possible BUT I am scared about accidents and I had to carry my bike up and down from the top floor flat which is quite heavy lifting. I think DH would have to carry it for me if I want to keep going this time. DH was worried about it in case of accidents. From his point of view there are two of us he could lose.

redstrawberries101 · 08/04/2016 17:43

Oh my days that is absolutely terrible. So glad he is ok. I'm far too scared to cycle. I just said to DH the other day when we went to the curry mile in Manchester during the wedding weekend that they should have cycle lanes blocked off everywhere (they had a cycle lane and then a kerb between the lane and road). That's the only way I would cycle.

Glad I made you laugh! AF is on her way, can feel it. Defo out this month.

Pacothepidgeon · 08/04/2016 19:01

That's terrible ic. Hope your DH is ok.

obsessed1 · 08/04/2016 19:56

God ic, that's terrifying. What a nasty piece of work!! So glad your dh is ok. Why do some people have to behave like that?
Lol about the indignities of this ttc business!! Yes, so very true. Glad we can share these things on here. Speaking of which, went to mil's house this afternoon, and he dogs were delightfully interested in sniffing at my crotch!!! Goign back to the sniffer dog conversation, I have my fingers firmly crossed that they can smell something significant, haha. Having said that, I caved and poas this evening, and got a bfn! Im hoping it's just because it's too soon and not the first wee of the day. Going to try again in the morning.

Brenna24 · 08/04/2016 21:33

I hope the dogs were telling you something obsessed

redstrawberries101 · 09/04/2016 08:12

So Af was due yesterday.. Had cramping and broken out in a spot and I'm sure it's it's way. Soooo tempted to test but I don't want the disappointment of bfn so I'm just going to (try) wait it out. Wish me luck!

redstrawberries101 · 09/04/2016 08:19

Spoke too soon! It's here! So glad I didn't I didn't test and see the bfn.

HopefulKate1980 · 09/04/2016 08:46

Oh bugger I'm sorry Cheeky. Hope you are ok.

That's so funny obsessed! Hope the dog is right!! When can you test?

My nipples have turned orange and sore overnight! Orange! Has anyone had that?! And the trumping is out of control!!

X

HopefulKate1980 · 09/04/2016 08:56

And welcome millie and antonia so sorry for your losses

Loki17 · 09/04/2016 08:59

I'm laughing at the orange nipple and trump-a-thons going on on this thread! Grin IC sounds like a nightmare - hope today is nice and relaxing! Sorry the witch got you, Cheeky. It's CD 11 here. I am not wishing time away though. My af is due one week before my year 11's practical gcse exam and I really need as much time with them as possible! I'm wishing I could press a pause button. I like this part of my cycle; it's so hopeful. In a weeks time, no matter how zen I want to be, I will know that I've most likely ovulated and I will be counting down no matter how much I try and hope that I won't!

Brenna24 · 09/04/2016 09:15

Bugger Cheeky. Better luck next month.

Orange is a new one on me Hopeful.

Best of luck for the exams Loki's child.

Thanks girls. It's just a bit of spotting yet. I've noticed since the mc this is how my period now begins.
