Well the 'WTF is the new normal after MC' question continues for me - have LOTS of EWCM at CD9 which is V early for me. Early night for me and DP tonight...!

Hi Obsessed I am sorry you have had such a horrendous time and ended up here.

Good luck IC. I had absolutely buckets of EWCM on Monday (just before, during and after a funeral we were at - not great timing. Way more than my normal. It looked like someone had sneezed into my pants. We DTD last night but it had dried up by then, then I had a positive on an opk and more EWCM Tuesday evening, DTD right then, DTD wednesday evening too and I got a massive temperature rise this morning. It is CD 16 for me, and I suspect I ov'd either tuesday over night or wednesday during the day. Which is bang on time for me. So I think we are in the running for this month. DP might just get a night off tonight though. I am knackered and I am sure we are past ovulation now.

This is a random question, and a bit embarrassing, but has anyone else's partner ever commented on your breath smelling different when you're pregnant? My dh calls it pregnancy breath, and he says it's quite distinctive. Maybe it's just me? Or maybe it's just wishful thinking but he seems to think I have that smell back (lovely!) and I hadn't said anything about how I was feeling before he said that. All day Tuesday I was getting pinching pain in my lower stomach (maybe my uterus?) and hoping it might be implantation? And today been feeling vaguely nauseous. i really hope this could be it, but I'm aware that it might just be wishful thinking. I just can't stand the wait!!

My DH hasn't but my dog obsessively sniffed my breath every chance he got, then did the head tilt/quizzical look, then sniffed again. I was convinced he could smell the different hormones (maybe my breath just smelled )

haha!! Maybe my dh's sense of smell is as good as your dogs. I hope that's it...

I thought my whole smell was different when I was pregnant. Not bad, just different

obsessed I am now killing myself laughing at your DH's bloodhound like nose. I am can just imagine hime sniffing the air and announcing your next pregnancy.

IC I sweated buckets more so I thought I stank all the time, although DH gallantly assured me I didn't. It was specifically my breath that DDog was obbsessed with. It used to make me laugh so much because the looks he was giving me were so accusing I felt like I ought to be confessing to him like I was 12 and got caught doing something I shouldn't.

Ic the last two cycles I have had ewcm as af has ended. Definitely ovulating earlier than before. I met a 6 day old baby today. Had a little hold and kept my shit together. Was a good day.

Welcome Obsessed - so sorry to read your posts, very sad, but it's great to have you here. AND fingers crossed your breath is a sign of some good news! I have never had or heard or that before but it must be great to have your own private sniffer dog looking out for symptoms!! (I hope that doesn't sound disrespectful to your DH!)

When I have been pregnant my boyfriend has known from my face. He says my eyes go droopy and tired. I look "rough" apparently. Charming man. Nobody else notices but he says he can...

Another strange occurrence here today. I am now supposedly 6/7 dpo and have noticed thick creamy CM. So GOD KNOWS WHY I decided to do an OPK this morning and it was a bloody PEAK!

What the f*ck? Does this mean I haven't ovulated? I was pretty certain that I had as I feel pretty unsexy and pre-menstrual like - bloated, gas etc. Does anyone know what that is about?? I swear to god, I am never going to buy Clearblue again after this packet is gone. They are too confusing. But I still can't help worry that I haven't ovulated and we have to get on the DTD train again... Anyone got any insight??

Gingerbread - had slight twinges today and AF is due tomorrow (CD30) so think it's on it way! Can feel it low down.

Obsessed - welcome. So sorry to hear, that must have been very tough. I know it's not a good idea to be overly positive but a positive mindset is definitely good to help you relax so keep going

Random question: does anyone else's dh put less effort into wooing you when ttc? My dh is acting like a bit of arse - he knows it's a sure thing so is being all cocky. Usually he tries to romance me. I quite want to kick him in the shin.

Well done Loki I think it makes it easier once you have done something like that as you get the confidence you can manage. My DH never really does the romancing thing, so no change here.

Hopeful it may be that you had a hormone surge but there wasn't a dominant follicle, so you didn't actually ovulate and that you are now having another surge and may ovulate now. Do you temp? I use that as confirmation that I have actually ovulated.

My Mum does my head in all the time, so I wouldn't notice the difference. I do remember the crazy dreams though. I think mine didn't start until about a week after my BFP.

Thanks Brenna. What has confused me is that, during my last peak, I had lots of EWCM and then it went dry, and now I have lots of creamy CM, which I thought wasn't fertile...

I am getting so depressed with all the confusion with all this. I don't know whether I am coming or going anymore.

It is really hard to tell exactly what is going on without u/s of the ovaries. Which is not really practical. It is really annoying not to know what is going on.

Right, I have had a cuppa and some weetabix and am off shopping and to the allotment to drop off some plants.

hopeful I'm ok just really tired. I've had strong cramps and feeling pre menstrual mood wise. Got a stressful day at work tomorrow and feeling fragile so hoping I don't start crying or something. I'm not doing anymore opks this month and I can't face dtd at the moment too tired. Just going to wait till next month now.

I have felt so much better by binning the opks and trying not to focus on ttc. Dtd daily is helping because I feel like I've done the only thing I can do to get pregnant and I can do no more.

I don't particularly have the energy or inclination either. However, it is the way I got pregnant both times previously. That is why dh is walking around all cock sure!

I'm chucking my opk's this month and going by my cm. Loki I don't know how you dtd everyday, I'm going to try every other day I think.

Been feeling a bit queasy today think I'm getting another bug, feel terrible. Early night for me. 2 more shifts then I'm off for 14 days which should fall right over my fertile window. Have lots to do as well to distract me from wanting to POAS!

I couldn't even manage every other day I dtd three days in a row and it's now knackered me for the rest of the month! I had all the good intentions of following the smep plan but no stamina

We generally manage EOD with an extra day round about the time I am ovulating. Whether or not that is to completion or not is far more variable though (and it can be very frustrating when I am knackered and putting loads of effort in when I just want to go to sleep only for nothing to happen. This month we are so lucky that the 3 days we managed to completion was the 3 important days around ovulation. Tonight I won't be initiating anything though. I am shattered and have been at the allotment and just put a cake in the oven for work for tomorrow, so it is up to himself if he feels up to it.
