APK and jo, so happy for you both. Massive congratulations and try and remember that no two pregnancies are the same.

I think I've ovulated now as a couple days ago I had pains lower right. We didn't manage to dtd nearer the end of the fertile window so not sure if I'm in with a chance. The month I fell pregnant I was told I must've ovulated late given the dates they gave me at scan so it is possible the fertile window on the ovia app was inaccurate. Oh well did what I could this month.

Pacothepidgeon · 30/03/2016 11:11

Cheeky my ovia fertile window is definitely inaccurate, not sure what's happening with it.

Just have to get this out in the hope I feel better. Just been baby bombed on facebook. I thought I'd unfollowed everyone and just left really close friends and family but one got through the net and yip is pregnant. It's nice news for the couple but God it's hit me hard. Sitting at my desk trying not to cry my heart out at how unfair this situation is and why someone can have four without issue when I can't even have one

redstrawberries101 · 30/03/2016 12:11

Paco :( totally feel your pain. Think we just have to ride out the emotions as it were. Don't bottle it up as it'll only feel worse.

Loki17 · 30/03/2016 12:24

AF is here. 29 day cycle this month. Last month was either 30 or 31 so I getting closer to normal. I've deleted fertility friend and thrown out the opks. It causes too much stress. From now on, I am going to be completely zen.

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 30/03/2016 13:04

AF is here for me too. Heavy and painful after a few days of spotting and early again. 26 day cycle this month and AF 12 dpo so I'm worried that mc has messed up my luteal phase.

Loki17 · 30/03/2016 13:08

Mc has definitely messed me up. Not sure what to think or do to be honest.

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 30/03/2016 13:30

Me neither. Going to get some more conception vitamins, ran out although I still had some individual folic acid, vit D, and B12. Apparently B6 is best for luteal phase problems so could do with at least adding some of that.

Not sure when would be the right point to speak to a dr. Just starting cycle 4 so that's 3 messed up cycles after mc with the same problem - spotting before AF, short cycles, heavy periods, lots of pain. You're on your 4th cycle now too aren't you? It's impossible to know what's normal and what to be worried about

AKP79 · 30/03/2016 13:42

Thank you everyone for your well wishes and congratulations to Jo too.

Loki would you consider something like hypnotherapy, the solution based version that I've been doing has really helped me chill out about things, which I'm convinced contributed to everything. It's more like deep relaxation instead of actual hypnotherapy. I've been having it to help with the miscarriage, but it was on the recommendation of my mum who had been seeing someone to help her deal with some very traumatic things from her childhood. The therapist I've been seeing has said that she quite often has positive results for people trying to conceive.... just a thought. xx

Loki17 · 30/03/2016 14:07

I think it should be my 4th cycle too. I don't know if I should go to the doctor or not either. Tmi here but the other day I found a jet black hair growing on my aerola and I've freaked myself out thinking my mc has given me pcos. I think I might consider some form of therapy AKP. I'm going to try relaxation this month. I'm giving it two more cycles and then going back to the doctor I think.

AKP79 · 30/03/2016 14:13

Good plan Loki coming from a beauty therapist, please don't worry about the hair!... it happens to soooo many women! I started getting one hair growing from there aged 34, I pull it out with tweezers and it reappears a few weeks later. Very very normal.

Pacothepidgeon · 30/03/2016 14:30

I got that when I was pregnant loki. All gone now though except one. I just tweezer it out! Blush

Loki17 · 30/03/2016 15:06

Glad I'm not the only hone with a hairy nipple!

redstrawberries101 · 30/03/2016 17:06

I've been told that vitamin D3 and fish oils are beneficial in helping balance hormones. I have the vitamin d3 drops by Nutri which I just take 15 drops in water once a week and omega 3 Eskimo fish oils also by Nutri (3 a day). I do think they work because I took them before my miscarriage and I fell pregnant first cycle then so hormones must have been in balance. Worth a shot!

Loki17 · 30/03/2016 17:08

I wonder of there is a vegetarian alternative to fish oils?

redstrawberries101 · 30/03/2016 17:10

Hmm sorry I'm not sure. If anyone else is interested, they can be bought off amazon.

Brenna24 · 30/03/2016 18:20

I think flax seeds may be a good alternative to fish oils.

I have had hairy nipples for years. I have about 10 on each side which I have to tweezer off. I don't have PCOS. I also grow a moustache and beard if I don't check regularly. Blush DH thinks it is hilarious when he catches me pulling out hairs. I threaten to pull his out as revenge.

That's the weird thing; I'm virtually hairless everywhere else (except my head!). I only have to shave my legs one or twice a month and that is only really since I had dd. I guess my hormones have fluctuated wildly in the last few months.

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 30/03/2016 19:23

I have to keep my beard & moustache in check too Brenna, curse of a dark-haired family.

redstrawberries101 · 30/03/2016 19:33

Same! I thread tache and chin area and then for occasions I use boots lightening hair bleach treatment for the rest of my face

Brenna24 · 30/03/2016 20:54

The worst thing about my tache is that it is ginger. Very ginger and thick hairs too. My beard and nipples are black.

Those posts have just made me laugh a lot Grin First time in days Flowers

redstrawberries101 · 30/03/2016 21:43

Lolll Brenna!!

HopefulKate1980 · 30/03/2016 23:16

Haha brenna! That made me laugh!! To add to the discussion, I have one random black hair that grows out my boob too. I can fart, burp, not shave for ages and my boyfriend doesn't care but when he sees that one hair he pulls a face like its the most disgusting thing in the world! Which it isn't obviously, he is just odd and male.

Listen to this for a shit storm. I've just finished the worst clotty period ever and just as I started to feel normal, I have managed to put my back out. It's so painful I can't walk. My boss sent me home at 1.30pm with the pain. So as I'm lying in bed this afternoon I start thinking about doing an Opk. First one is negative (it's a new pack), next one 4 hours later, is high fertility and then 2 hours after (I've been v bored today!) it's peak! I can barely move, I've only just finished my period and now it's saying I have 48 hours to DTD!! I've also been prescribed diazepam which surely can't be good for TTC. Does anyone know if it can be harmful when TTC?? I know ibuprofen is a big no no but diazepam?

What a palaver! Why can't this be easy for once?!

Pacothepidgeon · 31/03/2016 06:52

That's so weird kate. I don't know about diazepam but I threw my back out when I was pregnant and all I got was paracetamol with some exercise to do.
The ovulation is strange too not sure what's happened there! I've been getting negative opks all this month yet ovia tells me I'm out the fertile window. It's made me give up hope a bit think I may have missed it due to being knackered. Mc really turns your body weird!
