Ooh Kate that's the good stuff! I love diazipam! Not sure if it's ok ttc, I know codeine is and they are from the same opiate family.

I also get the odd random hair, one on my chin that surfaces once a month (I check every day) and the odd nipple hair. I blame my children for them. I've also got v hairy this week which I'm seeing as a good sign as I had it with my son. Oh the glamour!

New thread title: a bunch of hairy Mary's ttc after mc Grin

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 31/03/2016 09:42

I needed this laugh, thanks hairy Marys Grin

AmyB1986 · 31/03/2016 10:40

Hehe didn't think I'd be reading about hair this morning! I also get one dark hair that protrudes from my chin that I have to pluck out and one really long grey hair that comes out of my neck, that one is a pain to pluck out because I can't bloody see the thing but can feel it! I get blonde long hairs on my nipples that I pluck out as well.

Kate your opk's sound a bit weird I don't know what that's all about either! Diazepam is ok when ttc I think but if you fall pregnant you should stop taking them because they're addictive thy can cause withdrawal for you and the baby is continued to take. It can cause congenital malformation. They are great for pain, I had them after I had stopped breastfeeding for sciatica. I got fed up with feeling like a zombie though and went for acupuncture which cured my sciatica and I only get the occasional twinge from it now. Hope your back feels better soon.

14dpo today, temps are dropping rapidly so expecting af to appear pretty soon. Dreading it being heavy as have a long week at work with little time to attend to my own personal care needs and it's my 30th birthday on Monday Confused have really itchy nipples again it's driving me insane!!

redstrawberries101 · 31/03/2016 11:17

I've just had cupping done and the practitioner suggested i have it done to help me conceive (if I like) since I am trying. She said they would place the cups on the Fallopian tube area and under the belly button. I told her I was in my 2ww so she suggested she didn't do that today but if I wanted to, I could contact her if/when AF arrives and she could do it on CD2 as that is the best time to do it. I might just take that up !

Had the cupping done on my back and I already feel lighter. The blood was much thicker this time. When I had it done this time last year, the blood wasn't as thick (which is better) and she had recommended a maintenance session only. It's just taken me a year to make an appt! Just had a nice cup of hot water with honey and few drops of black seed oil . I feel good.

Hello Hairy Marys, DH has been "tactfully" moving my face sobs in the light, that's his way of saying "it's time to wax your 'tashe, love" 👨

I'm on CD47, still no sign of AF and getting BFN 😕. Am going a little crazy now.

Sobs? Oops, I meant around.

Loki17 · 31/03/2016 14:21

I'm currently sat with my dd, who is really poorly, watching episode after episode of 'Curious George'. It's more torturous than the two week wait!

HopefulKate1980 · 31/03/2016 14:51

Oh no, poor thing. Is she school age yet? Poor thing.

Are you in the 2WW Loki?

xx

HopefulKate1980 · 31/03/2016 14:55

And thanks Amy - I am going to lay off all the drugs for as long as possible while I get through the fertile window.

It's your 30th!! How exciting! I remember mine well - 6 years ago, gulp! Two ex boyfriends turned up and my boyfriend of the time in one small pub... not ideal. What are you doing for yours??

What are the itchy nipples about? Have you had that before?? x

Loki17 · 31/03/2016 15:05

She is 4.5 but we are on Easter Holidays so snuggled up together. I'm on cd2 and in agony! On a positive side, dh has just renegotiated our mortgage so that we are paying £120 per month less, but we've borrowed an extra £10000 for a conservatory! Not really sure how that works!

LuckyinOctober · 31/03/2016 20:29

Jo I'm so happy to read your news, hope it stays going strong for you! Sounds good for you too AKP, hope you can move through the guilt to being able to take it all in.

I'm joining the hairy camp too, I've had dark hairs growing on my nipples for years now and just accepted them really, they're soft and don't really bother DH. On the other hand, he objects to shaving my legs as the regrowth is sharp so I need to epilate (they then grow in softer). I've also had chin hairs since my late twenties and the tache since my teens. I also get dark hairs on my toes and my fingers. Thinking about the whole hair thing, quite glad I'm happily married now!

Pacothepidgeon · 31/03/2016 20:51

I've got hair on my toes too lucky. I feel this thread has been a confession of my secret hairiness lol

I have concluded I'm rubbish at trying to conceive. So confused as ovia says I'm out the fertile window but all opks ive done have been negative! Also too exhausted to dtd.

In other news DH who was freaked out by the "science" of ovulation sticks asked if I'd done one today. When I confronted him about this being scientific comment, he said it was me peeing in a little dish that freaked him out. Moral of story get a lock on the bathroom door in order to keep the romance! Smile

AmyB1986 · 31/03/2016 21:12

Kate I had itchy dry nipples after my mc but it cleared up, it's now back again! They really are driving me mad!

Loki sorry your DD is poorly hope she feels better soon. Good news about your mortgage!

Lucky I have hairs on my toes too, sure I'm turning into a hobbit!

Paco my dh walked in on me peeing into a plastic sandwich container! He was worried I was trying to make him eat my pee with his sandwiches lol! The plastic pot is purely for wee and it won't be used again if I manage to conceive, it'll be put in the bin!

Pacothepidgeon · 31/03/2016 22:28

Just ate an entire Easter egg Blush

AmyB1986 · 31/03/2016 22:34

Paco I ate a whole one yesterday too!!

Well I caved and bought some asda hpts, I've pissed on one and think I can see a really really faint line but I'm not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me or not. I've taken a pic and changed the contrast, my friend says she can't see anything in the pic but wondered what you Guys think? Maybe I'm going mad? Cracked the case open too because I thought maybe it was just the case making me see things or maybe I am just being optimistic

I use one of the little plastic pots that comes with the washing powder liquid. If dh sees it he just thinks it has been bought up along with the clean washing. I'm not doing any of that this month though. I've thrown out my opks and deleted fertility friend. I'm on a health kick to try and improve my overall health. I'm giving up alcohol and I'm going to try and reduce my stress levels. We are going to just dtd this month because I'm fed up of pissing on sticks and getting wound up by the result!

AmyB1986 · 01/04/2016 06:37

Morning all- after a crap nights sleep I've concluded the line is an evap line. I'm not testing again. Last night was filled with dreams of miscarriage and hpt strips some neg and some positive, weirdest dreams I've ever had. I really feel af will come today, in agony at the min.

Kate I forgot to answer your question- I'm at work on my bday but at the weekend we're going out for something to eat with all of our family. We have a lot to celebrate this year, I'm 30, my nan is 70, my step dad and uncle are going to be 50 and two of my cousins turn 21 lots of milestone bdays.

redstrawberries101 · 01/04/2016 08:23

Aw wow Amy lots planned!

Had a look at your pic and I think there is a very very faint line. How many days dpo are you? I'm tempted to test but I'm going to try and stick to my Philosophy of waiting until af is late. Let's see how I get on... AF is due on 8th April so ages yet anyway.

Loki17 · 01/04/2016 08:35

I think I see something too, Amy. Good luck! My af is super heavy. Ties in with chemical I think. I'm back on the baby aspirin to try and sort myself out. Dh is going out tonight so I'm going to do my Davina dvd. I'm in the mood to start getting fit again. I'm sure the aerobic exercises will be fine if we do manage to catch that egg!

HopefulKate1980 · 01/04/2016 09:05

I can see it too amy. Is that a FRER? did that appear quite instantly or after a while? When is AF due? Good luck lovely!

InsufficientlyCaffeinated · 01/04/2016 09:23

Yep I can see it too Amy! If AF doesn't show up today I'd be testing again tomorrow if I were you. Fingers crossed! Smile

Pacothepidgeon · 01/04/2016 09:34

amy I am useless at these things but I can see a faint line! Fingers and toes crossed for you Smile

AmyB1986 · 01/04/2016 10:15

It was an asda test, they're 15miu/l going to get a frer from boots after work. According to FF I'm 15dpo but I think I'm actually only 12dpo. Af is due today or tomorrow. I knew I wasn't seeing things but I'm sure it's an evap line. Had the same line there on the second test with fmu this morning maybe a tiny bit darker.

If af isn't here by Sunday I'll use a frer.

Heart is beating really fast now you've all said you can see a line too pulling a funny face too while typing
