Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

He has hyperthyroidism. And perfectly working kidneys!

So as long as we manage it. He will be ok .

So it is either a special diet, or pill(s) everyday. I'm not putting him through an op.

Evergreen15 · 18/03/2016 19:19

Ahhh so you can manage it Smile I feel it is easier to stick to a diet if you are not human Wink

Mooseville · 18/03/2016 19:25

Eeek starky Positive OPK! Got everything crossed for you. Please POAS tomorrow!!!

Positive OPK myself today, but definitely for ovulation not the other thing that can't be mentioned.... DP still sick but am going to attempt to jump him later whilst waving my positive pissy stick! He's a lucky guy!

Sorry to hear about AF pug

Evergreen15 · 18/03/2016 19:45

Is the "other thing that can't be mentioned" starting to sound like Voldemort to anyone else?

Pugmummy87 · 18/03/2016 20:06

Sorry about my rant earlier. I could just about cope with AF showing up, but then the baby bomb just pushed me over the edge. It just sometimes feels like the world and he's wife is pregnant apart from me! I thought I was chilled until yesterday.

I admire those of you that are being chilled about it, however I always have in the back of mind, that despite not using any contraception for 5 years I haven't once had a sniff of a bfp and my pcos diagnosis I know makes it harder too.

I'm giving it until the summer and then I will go and see the gp (technically due to the pcos, I can see GP after 6 months of actively trying if I wanted), until then I am going to work hard at getting bmi down again, start exercising and keep working on the positive mental attitude.

Evergreen15 · 18/03/2016 20:24

Pug no need to apologise.
I can't do the relaxed approach either (I can try to relax my mind about looking at all the other good things that I have going on in my life). I am almost 35 and I was (ideally) hoping for two kids (three really but I think too late for me since I have not yet conceived the first and I am too tired in general, feel older.
However I can try to start running again and focusing on other things as well Smile

StarkyTheDirewolf · 18/03/2016 20:27

Our staffy is on a special restricted diet hep she's got some kind of canine food intolerance. It's definitely easier to manage a pet diet than a people one. Poor little love.

Sorry ever I've just gone all spooked about it! Like, properly spooked. It does feel a bit like Voldemort! Or rather af is she who shall not be named. Flowdermort.

moose shall I?! I'm freaking myself out now because it's not official test day!

pug this is the place for rants, it's good to get it all out!

Your decision starky!! I'm all for leaving it as long as possible to avoid BFN's but the positive OPK woukd probably tempt me to do it!

HepKestrel · 18/03/2016 20:55

Thanks ever,starky.
Oh and I are treating ourselves to a medicinal bottle of Wine tonight over the stress of grumpy-old-cat. We are hoping that he keeps eating this food, as we have plans to go away for Easter.

Kwick709 · 18/03/2016 22:07

I am here my lovelies!!!! Thanks for thinking of me! I was away with work since Tuesday pm and I just could not keep up! It has been an intense week - but good as I had little time to think about 2ww, although I did take executive decision to start testing tomorrow... Gulp! That way I have weekend to process a bfn if it works out that way.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 18/03/2016 22:26

Oh kwick I've got my fingers and toes all crossed for you so much! 🐛

So after a total of 4 positive ovulations tests this cycle. AF has arrived on CD51. I had a high soft cervix before so nothing followed it's previous cycles. Have an appointment on Monday for an internal scan & DH has his appointment too.

I don't know how some of you have done this for so long. I'm only on cycle 3 (since October) & I'm already at my wit end!!

congrats to all the BFPs & good luck to all those on the 2WW!!

kavanaughkj · 19/03/2016 00:11

Ooo. Will be keeping fingers crossed for you both, Starky and Kwick :) I'm expecting a positive ovulation test myself tomorrow ... wouldn't you know it, right as hubby goes away for a weekend!

I'm 37, Jem, though only just. I met DH pretty late on and have never been with anybody else long term; he's pretty young though in comparison so I'm hoping his youth will help balance out my age!

RaeSkywalker · 19/03/2016 04:36

Kwick Ren is Han Solo's son (the evil one). So pronounced the same as Wren but spelled differently. I'm taking it easy for me exercise-wise, I've just done a weights class so far this week and in theory will go spinning later today. I've developed insomnia this week and have been awake since 3am so might not though!

Starky - it can't hurt to POAS?

RaeSkywalker · 19/03/2016 04:37

Kwick I have everything crossed for you!

Jamjar12 · 19/03/2016 06:48

Fingers crossed Kwick!!!!!

HepKestrel · 19/03/2016 07:17

Fx kwick and starky!!!
