Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

Just poking my head over here to see how you all are. Huge congrats elle and Kwick! Amazing news and fx for a healthy 8 months ahead.

Sorry to hear you're feeling quite negative ever. If you are looking for rational thinking based on scientific evidence, then positivity is the most rational mindset based on the stats. There are never any absolutes in life and of course there's a chance of the worst happening, but when you look at the statistics it makes good logical sense to assume that you will get pregnant:

20%will conceive within one month
70% will conceive within six months
85% will conceive within one year
90% will conceive within 18 months
95% will conceive within two years

The evidence says your chances are really good. But I totally understand that it's hard to keep sight of that 💐

What an incredible morning! Kwick and Elle!

Congratulations both, that's such fantastic news! I'm actually sitting here smiling away to myself about it Grin, I'm so happy for you both!

Thanks guys Smile really thought we didn't have a chance this month. I did wake DH, he said 'Well done Elle'! He was a bit sleepy though!

Ever hope you're not going back to work with a temperature? Are you dosed up with paracetamol?

Ctul hope that is good news about your bloods and your cycle? 🍀

Pug it sounds like it might have been a chemical? Hope you are feeling ok. It probably is a good sign that everything's working ok? 🍀

ElleSarcasmo · 23/03/2016 07:59

I am feeling way more emotional than I expected and cried in the car on the way to work at:
-the cute baby lambs in the fields
-songs on the radio (possibly Adele)
-the news about Belgium
-being pregnant!

So not me! How to be normal at work?! Feel like everyone will know!

Elle, that's exactly how I felt! It's bizarre because you feel like you've turned into a completely different person overnight but people really don't notice! Good luck getting through your day! (I cried at how cute my rabbit was this morning even though I see him every day and nothing was different today lol)

Feefeefs · 23/03/2016 08:17

Congratulations Elle! Definitely a lucky month! Back to work today Sad

Kwick709 · 23/03/2016 08:26

ellesarcasmo CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am chuffed for you!!!! Another November baby!!!!

SuchaJem · 23/03/2016 08:40

Yes elle!!!!! I had a feeling you were! :) fantastic news lovely.

pug agree that does sound like a cp, how frustrating but to echo Elle it's a good sign and hopefully next month will stick for you.

ever feel better soon xx I think as someone else described themselves as naturally pessimistic I'm definitely the opposite. Glass half full person, just must be the way I'm made up.

I wish I could join the brimming bubbling bfp pot today but I have no news! No AF, no nothing.

lyssie found myself nodding your post - my boobs aren't as sore as usual, and I've got loads of cm too, and I said to DH this am I'm not as bloated as usual.

Hmmm, I've been convinced all TWW that it hasn't happened and now dangerous dangerous hope is starting to creep in! That means AF will most likely show any min! 🙄

SuchaJem · 23/03/2016 08:41

Thanks for the update kat look at all those lovely grads :)

HepKestrel · 23/03/2016 08:42

congratulations elle

Ni4444 · 23/03/2016 08:48

Yay Elle!!!!! Flowers Flowers Flowers
..hmm I think I am now the last of the originals without a bfp-wah 😭 What I do have today is serious ovary pain! O is due! We dtd Mon, will dtd tonight (OH says every second day only! Boo!) so fingers crossed it happens!

Thanks Lara for those stats. Ever those stats are very much backed up by research...mostly couples get pregnant within a year so I'm trying to accept it could take that long. If it doesn't happen then, I'll freak out!! See...rational and calm, emotional and panicked all in one...my lucky OH!

KatOnATinRo0f · 23/03/2016 08:50

Ni...... You aren't the only original :(
Here I am... Waiting for AF so I can start cycle 9.

Flashinthepan · 23/03/2016 09:17

Morning everyone. Congratulations Elle! Sorry for messing up your lovely list Kat but could you put me on for the 2nd of April?

Also, I'm having a really weird tww, after DTD on Sunday (1 or 2 DPO) I had a bit of bleeding, and then its kindof continued since then, nothing super heavy, but dark red/brown when I wipe (sorry for TMI). Just wondering if anyone else has experienced mid cycle bleeding like that as its not something I've had before and not due AF until April the 2nd?

FXSkip · 23/03/2016 09:35

Kwick this is the best news ever!!! AND Elle too - so happy for both of you!!!

Kwick you are right t be so sensible about it, but don't let it stop you being grateful for these moments. If you can, try to focus on what is happening to you right now, and not to get carried away dreaming about what your baby will look like - don't miss this precious time by mentally being 9 months ahead! And whilst looking after yourself is paramount, the most important thing is to nourish yourself. Naturally by doing this you will cut out any harmful or unhealthy habits as you seek to create the most nourishing environment for your embryo, without stress or force. Good luck to you and your seedling GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Ni you defo aren't the last one! and ever these feelings are normal, so don't be hard on yourself. Give yourself a little bit of time to experience these emotions, and then pick up and carry on. We are all here with you.

vixarooni · 23/03/2016 09:37

Congratulations Elle so exciting all these bfps!!!

Ever tell me to shut up, but I can almost feel the block you are putting onto TTC. Im feeling a huge amount of negativity and that you've given up any hope on it. I hope you can persevere through this and be rewarded with a baby :)

Kat is that list when I'm due to test?

Mileymoocow · 23/03/2016 09:50

kwick if I could give anyone who has just had their bfp any advice at all...

Please don't spend your precious first weeks worrying. Enjoy it as much as you can in bliss, enjoying nice food and smiling!! I miss that week I had before ms started (onto my 6th week of HG and have just been called back into hospital for extra check ups after visiting for the 2nd time for fluids). VERY small chance you could end up as bad as I have though.

elle lol. I'm your typical geordie who doesn't cry at anything ever. I stood in asda 2 weeks ago and cried because they didn't have any red pepper and chilli hummus that I wanted. It was my first trip out of the house in 3 weeks and I was excited because I thought I'd be able to eat hummus. The emotion was just too much Blush welcome to bat shit crazy mode no you don't leave it behind in ttc

I did a new thread! Hope nobody minds! Feeling a bit like I don't belong anywhere at the minute! Still freaked to post too much in the grads but don't want to annoy you guys by hovering here! I can't be helpful because I have zero concentration and don't want y'all to think I'm being patronising or irritating! So I'm sort of silently hovering, like a fraggle on a rock!

Congratulations elle AMAZING NEWS! 💐👑🍼🎂🐙

SuchaJem · 23/03/2016 10:17

I don't think I'm speaking for only myself here but PLEASE STICK AROUND STARKY! And all grads!

We have such a lovely supportive group here, I love hearing how you are getting on. Plus you've got so much ttc knowledge I selfishly don't want to lose that from the thread!

SuchaJem · 23/03/2016 10:18

flash that could have been an implantation bleed! Which would be really promising. Fx

Flashinthepan · 23/03/2016 10:35

Jem I sneakily hoped it could be as my boobs have been super sore for the last few days and normally only get that way just before AF but I suspect that my body has decided to mess me around just as I've decided to care what it's up to! I can't help but see anything different as potentially bad, rather than potentially good.

HepKestrel · 23/03/2016 10:49

yes please stick around! we welcome all newcomers, but we do love how you are getting on (with a slight pang of jealousy Wink)

we have our own language developing here!

ElleSarcasmo · 23/03/2016 12:33

Thanks Jam. Nobody appears to have noticed so far. I've got a cold so will blame any erratic behaviour on that! Wink

Starky I don't feel brave enough for grads either! Also, I love you guys! I want to see everyone else get their BFP too! 🍀

My symptoms were:
-nauseous since Monday (cd 28)
-sore nipples I think 1 week after ov
-bruised feeling boobs on and off for past few days
-tired (want to go to bed early, sleepy in the daytime) since sat/sun
-off coffee/couldn't finish a cup since sat.

Miley totally relate to the hummus tears! Hope you're feeling ok.

ElleSarcasmo · 23/03/2016 12:35

Also-bloated/slightly farty Blush though not too burpy so far!

Evergreen15 · 23/03/2016 13:20

Thanks Pug Smile yes, I think I should try to be more optimistic with life on general.
Lara thanks that info helps Smile It helps me to try to realise that it can be 2 years but 95% is a very high rate! Surely I will make it happen in 2 years!
So I guess now I need to look at it that way. It will happen in 2 years Smile And some people, sure, they are lucky but I have never been very lucky and that is ok because 95% is very high so I will just have to wait.

I am not taking my temps anymore though. I think that was adding way too much stress.

BTW I am going to go ahead and believe that those stats apply to the over 35 as well, and I don't want to be corrected if I am wrong Smile

Elle I went back to work but I had to leave again as I started to feel crap again Sad
omg You have a little thing in your belly! Grin

Jem glass half full is the way to be Smile Maybe one day I am like that too Smile

Kat fabulous list as always SmileThanks

Fx you have such way with words Smile
Are you a psychologist or therapist? You seem to know a bit SmileSmileSmile I like that.

Vixarooni I would never say shut up Smile, everyone's opinion should be valued and heard Thanks. And I know being positive is best for general wellbeing and mental health for sure and that has an impact on how you feel physically, unfortunately I don't believe you can mentally block TTC... Otherwise we would need no contraception of ivf, I don't think it is possible to "think yourself pregnant". But we all have different ways to see things here and I like that SmileAnd you are right in perceiving hope is running low here though. Maybe spring will help pick it up.

Miley thanks for sharing that with us, what a lovely piece of advise for those that might be worrying Smile

Starky I really hope you stick around. We need those StarStarStarStarStarStar Wink
